Diamond Caverns

Great cavern, informative guide, well structured. We had a small group, six of us including my buddy and me. I'm sure it must be tough to compete with MCNP down the road but if you're looking for beautiful formations, this place won't disappoint. It is a quick tour as the cave is not vast but quite beautiful.One thing of note is although the ground has concrete on the pathway, it is uneven in quite a few areas and one could easily stumble if not careful. (Nobody in our group did but I can see it happening.)Cute cave, pretty formations, and informative guide.

It's a fine location for cavernsI was a bit underwhelmed at what was there as we have seen some in Pennsylvania that were better. It was kind of cool some of the formations If you are in the area maybe have a visit but I would not travel from any great distance

Fun experience. Caves are well kept and staff is knowledgeable providing great tours. Great to see a part of history and Mother Nature.

-0 The customer service is beyond ridiculous. The service desk person handed my husband rules before he could even pay for admission. I'm a disabled person that needs water constantly. I can walk the distance but not without water. I need my meds in case of an emergency and she said no. This is really incredible that they are discriminating someone that's a pay customer based on their needs.

This was one of the many Cave tours we did while visiting Mammoth Cave this July. This one is tied for my top spot.Our tour guide Dallas was very informative and engaging on his tour.As everyone mentioned this isn't handicap accessible and there are steep steps in and out of the cave. I wouldn't say they're overly strenuous, and I saw people of varying ability levels do this in flip flops (I wouldn't recommend this. It is wet and slippery).This is a wet cave and we went on a rainy day, so throughout our tour the waterfalls started to get stronger and appear more places, which was cool to see. The formations are also vastly different than Mammoth Cave so it's a nice contrast.I would say this is definitely a "must do" if you go, but also a once and done kind of place. Also prepare to move quickly. On the way back, we all but sprinted because we were constantly waiting for stragglers in the back. You also can't get tickets ahead and they're first come first served. We didn't have an issue, but it was also kind of a crappy day. I could see it being much busier on a nice summer day.

Ok, there was a snowstorm. But the billboards and brochures do say open everyday since whatever year in the 1800s they put down. It was not open. I am all for people being safe but we drove up just fine and were disappointed.

Customer Service is shit. We spent 50 dollars on tickets for the tour, another 30 dollars on random touristy bulls@&) to show support. Yet the second time we came in (for the tour), some greasy haired kid at the register stared down our every move as if we were going to steal something. We camped for two weeks across the street and have never seen more than 10 cars(if that) in the lot for Diamond Caverns. Absolutely no wonder why. Tours at MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK are the same amount and right up the road! Support NPS and not this tourist trap.

We checked out Mammoth Cave and while that was spectacular as well, this place took the cake. A more intimate tour with a fun and enthusiastic guide Brian, we were so happy to have stopped here. Super cool "wet" caverns with an awesome history. Highly recommend!

Ross is the best he was cool and has jokes the stairs at the start are not the Best there is a lot of stairs.
