The hotel/guest room was beautiful! Stayed overnight on our way to FL from MI. Pretty sure it's the nicest hotel room we've ever been in. Clean, very modern and comfortable! And a nicer Keurig machine, not the usual cheap ones you find in most hotel rooms. Even the hand soap in the shower dispenser was nice! I have already booked here for our return trip home. We didn't gamble, although we normally do. Grabbed a bite to eat at Lil Wagner's.....I would recommend finding a restaurant off-site before spending money/ordering from there.

This is a casino with no table games and 100s of the same exact type of machine. No novelty at all. No lightening link, no dragon link. There is fire link but that's about the only mainstream game you'll find here. Soda machines present which are nice, but the gaming itself is not great. Atmosphere is Ok since there is a separate smoking section. Go to Caesar's in Indiana for a better experience.

Stopped by DCG for the first time after many recommendations from gaming friends. I was motivated to visit in hopes of using the new member bonus perks. While signing up for a players card, I was informed that the DCG is part of Churchill Downs, Inc. From the previous week, I had visited Turfway Gaming and found out that it was also part of Churchill Downs, Inc. Unfortunately, I did not qualify for any new member perks and Turfway's incentives were not transferable to DCG. Aside from that disappointing news, I was able to tour the facility. It was bright, clean, and offered a variety of gaming options. The employees were nice and knowledgeable. HHR Slots are offered in KY with no option to play table games.

This is now my FAVORITE hotel! It was clean! It smelled good! It was in a good location that allowed for easy travel to nearby attractions. The staff were great! I was even able to catch the horses running next door!

Nothing special just a casino really. If you enjoy gambling and strictly playing the machines then you may enjoy this place. But nothing really said come back. The rooms were basic more like a holiday in really. Not that holiday inn is bad just basic with no real thrills.

Really enjoyed this hotel. We came in town for the PGA tournament. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Had some fun at the slots. Was extremely impressed with Oliver's. The food was incredible and really rivaled Gordon Ramsey Steak in Vegas for me. Staff was helpful and it was a really nice stay. My own wish is that they would offer table games and not just slot machines.

We came here because the hotel. We parked right I. Front and the check in process was really easy. This place is beautiful inside. We stayed on the second floor the room was amazing. I think the price was $100 . The room was very spacious ,came with shampoo and conditioner, and decor was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. The casino gave you a playing card but even if you win on the card you never get the money so didn't like that. You can sit and watch the game they have huge TV's. Highly recommend the hotel very nice and comfortable.

One thing that really surprised me at Derby City was their collection of bourbon. They have every Weller, a few Pappy's, Eagle Rare, Blanton's, and more! Our bartender was extremely nice. I asked many questions and he took the time to answer them all. They have a large parking lot which makes parking very easy. The main entrance is currently decorated for the holidays. Wreaths and ornaments everywhere. They do offer free coffee and soda available to all. There is a food area with sandwiches and various forms of chicken. Part of the gaming area is currently under construction so it will be interesting to see how it all looks once it is unveiled!

Absolutely by far the worst customer service in Louisville. We go here often. The last 3 times we have been here over the last 3 weeks the machines have been out of service to cash tickets. So you have to wander over the gaming center to find the next machine to cash your ticket only to find it is OUT OF SERVICE also. It was not that I was not a winner. I was for $800. I asked a slot person to get me a floor manager to talk to and he was completely Rude. Ask another person who told me the cashing machines are outsourced and not their fault. Really Churchill who is raking in millions from these betters cannot require better service from vendors. . Again asked for floor supervisor and someone from security came. Again responded he was just security and not his responsibly. Really. No one asked my name it was just what one would call "lip service ". Again I won money so not complaining about losses. Churchill just wants your cash but is not interested in service. Also note. If you go downstairs drinks are double in price $12 vs $6 at poplar level. Hmmmmm...... who does Churchill care about!!!! I found out it is not me!
