First of all a high-five to Spencer, the most energetic, friendly and efficient waiter we have encountered in a long time! This restaurant's sign caught our eye and we thought...why not?Housed in a former Denny's or Shoney's means it is roomy...but some of the seats show their age.The BBQ was nothing extraordinary but definitely tasty. The mac & cheese needs some work as the pasta was mushy. Choice of two sauces (1 sweet and 1 hot )I would return if in the area again.

I've driven by their sign on 65 a few hundred times now and always giggled at the name. I mean, it's silly and that's why I find it so amusing.I'm from Memphis, love bbq, and judge it accordingly. Was this the best I've ever had? No. Not by along shot. Was it good? Yes. Well, parts of it. Pulled pork? Solid. Brisket? Kinda dry. Burnt ends? Meh. Home made chips? For sure. Green beans? Oddly, yes. Their sauce? The saving grace. It was nice and sweet, but not too intense. Was slightly disappointed I couldn't buy the sauce by itself.Would go again. The place looks crummy on the outside, and I'm not sure what's going on in the surrounding area , but inside is nice and clean. I'd go again, for sure.

From Saratoga to Atlanta, I headed west because I love the Smokey Mountains, I spent a fair amount of time within them. But I had to get to Kentucky by lunch - 24 East 40 East Chattanooga - Knoxville - ten hours of driving already. I wanted to drive the Kentucky back roads of horse farms & wildflowers. My buddy's '65 Mustang died along his way to meet me - it's been giving him problems, some fuel pressure matter this time, so I sat on the patio with Iris and ordered the Pretzel that the server recommended. Beer cheese and another cheese dipping modifier, the suggestion was perfect - and we waited sitting just off the highway - it'd have been nice to have a beer but the road sometimes never ends, it always starts again. Finally the Stang rolled in - we ordered away. Dry rub wings for me - double combo of meats and sides for him. The drumettes were so plump, oddly more meaty than I prefer which I realize sounds weird - but I like just a bite and a half per - and I much prefer wings to drumettes. With such an abundance of chicken meat, I consumed about thirteen out of fifteen and took the rest. The star penalty is for the prepackaged blue cheese, Ken's brand I believe. It was not capable of proper dipping due to its rather small circumference and bland taste.

The service was excellent, friendly and attentive.I got the two meat/two side combo; pulled pork with burnt ends. I guess I was expecting brisket burnt ends but what I got was more rib tips. Pulled pork was ok, same with the rib tips.My coworker got the spud with brisket, it looked really good and I wish I got it honestly. The place was dead during lunch time which should have been a sign but you always gotta try a place once.

Just off 65, saw a sign that said "the best bbq in town," so how could I pass up trying that?! It was last Saturday, a little past lunch time (2pm), and not busy. My server was fast and pleasant. I ordered the Combo #1, which was pulled pork and two sides. I got the peachy baked beans and the cole slaw. The bbq was a decent portion, and good, but a little on the cool side. I added both the regular and spicy bbq sauces that were on the table. The peachy baked beans were served piping hot and were really tasty and really the star of my meal. I had some left overs to box up, and my server also gave me a drink to go.#yum #ReviewsByRL

We ordered a 20 pound turkey from Deez Butts for the day after thanksgiving it cost $75.00. It smelled good, but it was so overcooked that it was inedible. Also, I carved it up and it was obviously a butterball turkey, the "it's cooked" button was still in it, and they didn't even bother to remove the neck or the bag of innards inside. Not only will I never buy thanksgiving dinner from them, I will never eat anything from there again. Do better!

So happy to have found Deez Butts right off of the highway while traveling. The food and service was excellent! The brisket was a favorite at the table and we were also impressed with the chicken tenders with juicy white meat and the most perfect breading. Our server Heidi was so sweet!

Food was not much to comment on. Service was standard, and that was at a slower time of day. If we pass through again, we'll probably try out something else next time.
