One of the most amazing places I ever been to. The area they have for concerts is amazing with seats you can get to enjoy from many locations. You can even board a train in New Haven and travel to the venue, exit to have a dinner and after go enjoy a concert. Then you take the train back to New Haven. A great fun idea. Don't overlook the Bed & Breakfast they have. It could be a fabulous experience. The lake in front is beautiful.

I love Log Still Distillery and the property at Dant Crossing. They are doing beautiful work to the landscape and the amphitheater is lovely. My husband and I went to our first concert there to see the Gin Blossoms. The parking and shuttles to the event were easy. The people working were friendly. The crowd wasn't overwhelming and no long waits for drinks or port o John's. I can't wait for next season's concerts. Now that I went once, I can't wait to go back.

Great venue for a concert. Beautiful scenery in a cozy setting. Unfortunately, the line to get a drink was excessively long.

My husband and I attended a conference at Dant Crossing and stayed at The Homestead B&B on the property. Not only is it a beautiful location, but the amazing individuals that work on site truly made the trip a wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind and personable, as well as knowledgable about the history of the location and the business. It was great to hear about the generations of families that led to the restoration of this site, as well as see the history being incorporated into each location. I cannot wait to visit again once some of their in-progress construction is completed and see what a "destination" it has become.

Dant Crossing gave away my daughter's promised wedding date with no notice. We were continuing to discuss contract items (food, alcohol, guest count, etc.) and I had given Dant my credit card to put a deposit down two months prior. I learned they never hit my credit card as they were waiting on a signed, final contract (please understand we were supposed to be the 2ndwedding in this unbuilt venue so there were still many questions and items to consider). We had already tied other vendors to Dant. We were devastated when Dant Crossing gave away the promised wedding date, and we felt Dant lacked professional integrity. Dant did reach out to who they gave our date away to, just to see if they could get the date back, which was a gesture in the right direction; however, at that point our confidence in Dant was lost. As we quickly looked for another venue, I asked these organizations if they promised a date to a family (without a signed contract) would they give it away. The reoccurring answer was no; it is always a professional courtesy in the wedding business to contact the promised potential client first, tell them someone else is interested, and then they usually give them 24 hours to submit a final contract if the first party still wants to secure the date. Dant also told me that we asked, "so many questions." Outside of college, a mortgage, or a new car - a wedding is one of the most expensive purchases someone can make. If you are like us, you do your research, ask questions to ensure you understand costs, and look for ways to save money.
