Am I really only now coming to this place after years of hearing about it? So many great meal options, so little time, I guess. Well, congratulations to me for finally treating my appetite to this gem of a breakfast spot. I knew it was going to be good, but it turned out to be great! Everyone loves Tres Leches, ¿sí? Well, the Tres Leches pancakes are just as good as the dessert. Moist, fluffy, and delicioso! Just the right amount of Tres Leches "syrup", and not over the top sweet. As I took the first few bites, I was transported back to my childhood when Grandma used to make a homemade milky, custardy drizzle to pour over pudding cake. 5/5, and the strawberries and bananas topped the cakes off right. I always like to pair a savoury side dish with pancakes, saw the jalapeño potatoes on the menu, and went for it. I was a bit nervous because I can't handle too much heat , but these babies had only sparks of flavor, with no burn. If you like tomatillo like I do, you're in for a real treat in this selection here. I ate every morsel. And that cheese they put on top? ¡Olé! Finally, I ordered the Oaxacan Latte, Abuelita Chocolate style. Everything in Oaxaca is amazing, per my recollection. This coffee treat was equally superb. A very smooth and comforting beverage. I savoured it at the end of the meal. I look forward to trying the coffee martini next time. Nice, clean restroom. Nice dining room atmosphere. I dined at the bar, and was seated immediately. The bar service was too-notch, with warm, friendly, attentive servers.

I was disappointed in how well done my poached eggs were, but food was tasty. They have no fountain drinks, so I ordered an iced tea. Unfortunately it was mango, which I do not like, so I settled on water. Extra ice in my glass would've been appreciated as I'm not a fan of tepid water. Service was good.

Me friend and I stopped in for a late breakfast on Friday. I suggest looking at the menu before you arrive, as there are so many choices!!! There is something for everyone!!! You want sweets??? They have pancakes, French toast, waffles. Eggs? Poached, omelettes, fried. Meaty? Chicken, beef, sausage. All with a Mexican twist. You place your order at the counter, and they will bring your food out to your table. We had a burrito bowl, and an omelette. So yummy!!!! Everything was seasoned just so. I recommend you try the cafe con leche. So creamy and satisfying!!! I would love to return and try more of the Mexican inspired breakfast dishes!!!

I've wanted to try this restaurant since they originally opened, and last weekend I finally got my chance. We first attempted the Frankfort Avenue location, but the line was out the door so we ended up driving to the Brownsboro Road site. There was plenty of parking in front and in the rear of the restaurant. I'm not sure how it works at Frankfort, but at this location you put your name in for a table and then order at the counter. Despite arriving at 12:30 on a Sunday, we had a 10 minute wait. We took that time to drool over the menu. Two in our party ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which is corn tortillas, salsa, refried black beans, avocado, queso fresco and eggs. They made it to the clean plate club! I ordered the Omni-Vore sandwich with brioche bread, bacon, medium egg, cheese, jalapeño aioli and home fries. Our food came out incredibly fast, maybe 7 minutes after we ordered it. Everything looked and smelled delicious and it was. My only complaint with the sandwich was the bread wasn't everything that I had hoped for, but it was filling and satisfying. The home fries were crispy and complimented the meal nicely. I'm looking forward to going back and trying something new!!I forgot to take photos of the food, since I was starving.

Con Huevos was recommended to me by a good friend some time back, and since trying it that first time, it has often been on my mind. I don't automatically think of "breakfast" when I think of Mexican cuisine, nor do I think of Mexican cuisine when I think of breakfast. Con huevos haschanged that. Enchiladas con huevos? Get outta here. Dulce de leche French toast? Why would I want it any other way?Oaxacan Latte, served with a smile, next door to a Starbucks... Starbucks can eat their heart out. Service is great, good for families, the ambiance is welcoming and warm. What else could you want from a lovely Mexican brunch? Go now, and eat it.

This is the place to be if you enjoy Mexican influences to your breakfast favorites. Sadly I have no pictures or names of menu items from the last time I went so I will go from memory. Last visit I tried one of the egg sandwiches and my friend tried another. They were good, on brioche bread which kicked them up a notch, but at the end of the day still an egg sandwich. I'd suggest something more adventurous. I've always enjoyed the carnitas with green salsa. Huervos rancheros is a go to staple. But friends, if you want something special try the tres leches pancakes. Omg. O.M.G! So good. When we go as a family we order our meals but then get a plate of pancakes for the center of the table. Go get some for yourself!

Can someone explain the hype? Food was served cold and didn't have much flavor. How are carnitas bland?I had the drunk burrito which is a flour tortilla stuffed with black beans, rice, and your choice of carnitas or chicken. I chose carnitas because 2ho doesn't love slow cooked pork with what I thought was all the seasons (seasoning). Unfortunately, only winter was served on this visit. The burrito was cold and flavorless. Even upon reheating, the flour tortilla overpowered everything. The carnitas added great texture but no flavor.Hard pass on a recommendation but I look forward to my Yelp return after a very slow stretch during Covid.Mandatory plug about excellent service! Top knotch people that are unbelievably busy. Tip your servers regardless of food quality!!

Great spot for a weekend breakfast! I'm also going to say they are kid friendly despite having a limited kids menu.I had the chicken tinga enchiladas with the Rosa sauce. They were excellent! Great flavor and generous portion size. Just because we were there and I love French toast, I had to try it. Great bread consistency. Held its shape through the entire dish. The sauce on the plate was a nice surprise. They brought syrup but that with the powdered sugar was plenty, no need for the syrup. In fact, didn't even try it!My son got the little pancakes which were the perfect t size for him. I'd highly recommend this place for families as the servers were all great with kids.
