Con Ají y Café

This is a great food truck for anyone wanting to try authentic Colombian food! I tried their chicken arepas and the buñuelos and both were amazing. The arepas were perfectly golden, with a crispy outside and a soft, cheesy center. There was an explosion of flavor in every bite. The buñuelos were absolute heaven - crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the service was impressively quick. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try this place out. It's authentic, flavorful, and satisfying! Can't wait to try Con Ají y Café again, especially to get the buñuelos with a side of hot cocoa!

Went to the annual international food truck festival and found this Columbian food truck that was serving empanadas. I tried the beef/potato and chicken/potato empanadas. They were crispy and both sauces were great. Service was quick and the food was hot. Great price too! The festival was fun. There were a lot of people but it was still fairly quick to get the food! Definitely recommend!

I went to the 3rd Annual International Food Truck Festival in Louisville, Kentucky and I had the Beef Empanadas. The empanadas were crispy, hot, and had plenty of flavor. You can get 3 empanadas for $7.00 so I thought the value seemed pretty good. It came with a cilantro and guacamole sauce and a ketchup and mayo sauce. The sauces complimented the empanadas very well. Overall the service was great and I'd come back! The ambiance was in a festival setting so it was pretty crowded with a line but that was okay! Parking was pretty crazy of course with large crowd but we were able to get a parking spot.

We had amazing empanadas and an arepo from this food truck and they were served up hot and delicious! Definitely on the slower side but that's more than ok for fresh hot snacks! So yummy!

We ordered this food truck for my staff last Friday for food truck Friday. I've never had Colombian food in my life I didn't really know what to expect I couldn't pronounce the words so I kind a talk to a few coworkers to figure out exactly what I should get. Ended up getting the empanadas yeah and they were pretty good a little small not much on the inside if I had to be honest but it was more of a little snack and a lunch I would say it was $5.50 for three of them. We went to a happy hour and hayride event at Foxhollow Farms and this food truck was there for dinner. At first I was kind of like meh I could go without but holy cow I'm so glad we tried them out. We split the combo #1 which was two empanadas, one arepa, and one drink. We chose a chicken and a beef empanada and a pork arepa. All three were amazing. Between taking bites I couldn't stop saying omg this is so good. I wish I would've gotten my own combo so I wouldn't have to share. I liked the chicken empanada more than the beef, but both were excellent with great flavor and texture. The pork arepa though, that has my heart. The pork was not dry, it had good flavor, and it was a generous serving. I don't know what cheese was in it but it was perfect. We tried a few of the sauces and liked whatever we tried. This food truck is great, everything is made from scratch and it's hot and fresh made to order. So so good, I'm hoping we can see them out somewhere else again!

I caught this truck in the middle of a high-traffic festival today, and they scored high on every count -- food quality, price, and efficiency. Two people in a tiny room cranking out arepas and empenadas as fast as people could order them. My chicken arepa was tender and delicious, and all four sauces were lovely accompaniments. The offerings were few (pretty much beef or chicken) but better to offer a limited menu that delivers than a lot of inconsistent choices. And it's really nice to see a line move quickly even if it's long. That's a good sign that not only are the servers working hard, they are prepared for crowds. I bet the pair that served me today is sleeping well. They filled a lot of bellies.

Ordered the empanadas today, 2 chicken and a beef. They were absolutely amazing! And the light green sauce was a perfect pairing for both of them. Most definitely going to go again!

Was in Louisville for a getaway and saw this place is new and has Colombian food. I got everything they had. 3 arepas. 1 of each and 9 empanadas. The arepas were great! The empanadas could use more meat and flavor. I don't use sauces so it tasted plain to me. I'm Colombian from Medellin, Colombia and it was nice to see a place starting out selling Colombian food. They wait was a little long. 20 minutes but it was fine. This place will be a hit when they fine tune a few things (Adding more flavor and meat to the empanadas). 5 stars because they were very nice and great customer service.

Excellent empanadas and friendly service. What else do we want?Obviously the food is prepared while you wait and comes out within a short time.
