Coliseum Liquors

Friendly drive up service from this UK staple for beer wine and more. The owner is so friendly. I drive out of my way to come here. I came here right after work for a bottle of wine. Broke it when I got home. Came back here and the owner sold me a new bottle at cost. I've NEVER had any place do that for me. But I am a regular and they know me and Chloe Osita Horchata (she gets treats from them all the time). I love this place. Thai food, Pizza, Qdoba, and coffee all in one spot!!

Yes on April the 14th at around 2:30 I went to coliseum liquor to pick up two cigars and the owner opened the drive-thru window and asked me what I needed and ask him to told him two cigars and he called me a n***** so I'm on everybody to know this that that is a racist owner at coliseum liquor do not go there

Very homey neighborhood liquor store in near the University of Kentucky College. The owner Shirese (probably not the actual spelling of his name), and his staff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable and there are many name brand products, they even have a drive up window on those cold days you don't feel like getting out of your car. Coliseum Liquors is definitely worth the drive if you're looking to not only support a small business but a business that is the heartbeat of this small community. Namaste, ShawnaJ :-)

If I could give this place more than five stars I would. The owner is one of the most genuinely good people I've ever met, and it makes me want to support the business he and his wife have built.

Love this store. Great selection of wine, liqour, and beer, and great customer service. There are three other places I can buy liqour from less than a mile from my apartment, but I choose to drive to this place because of how I am treated. I will remain a customer here for as long as I live in central Kentucky.
