Colby's Deli & Cafe

We stopped by this charming little café, due to the high Yelp reviews. We were doing a long road trip and needed to stop somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat and some coffee. This place is great. We shared an egg, ham and cheese croissant which was super tasty. We also ordered a Rueben sandwich for the road. We could not wait so we took a little bite. WOW! Great sandwich served with these really yummy homemade potato chips. Tiffany was very nice. We did not catch the owner's name, but he was very nice as well. Definitely a Kentucky gem!!

Good spot for a light, healthy lunch, which isn't always easy to find in Owensboro. I actually stopped in while on my way to Great Harvest, hoping to save myself a trip down Frederica St. I got the tuna salad & fruit, which was delicious. Great Harvest is always packed & chaotic, & this place was peaceful. Has a surprisingly big dining room. The staff were friendly & told me this has been a family business for about 20 years. Somewhere inside I saw the tagline "Owensboro's best kept secret," & I think they may be right.

Had an excellent experience at Colby's deli and cafe! Called at 8:30 am, and they had a 12-person order ready by 11. The staff, especially Collin, were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. The chicken salad is hands down the best I've ever had! Huge thanks to Collin and the entire team at Colby's deli!

Staff is very kind, food was delicious, and songs were great!! This is a great little cafe with only good things to say! My husband even liked it and he's picky! Not too pricey either! You also get free cookies your first visit in. 100% recommend!

This little deli for lunch and breakfast is fantastic. Super consistent and always fresh and affordable. I love their potato soup, chicken salad, and their sandwiches on wheatberry toast. Also a great place to stop in for breakfast. They have baked goods and quiche but I usually go for a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. I highly recommend it!

I've been here three times now, and each time the food and service has been solid. The place looks a little outdated, but it looks clean.

Went in for a quick lunch, and was pleasantly surprised. Nice clean dining room. Nice size helpings with chicken salad and fruit. Employees very nice and respectful. I will go again and recommend this place.
