Wow! I've been wanting to try this place out for a long time and finally got around to it the other night. The entire menu is online, and they have options to also order online. I opted to call the restaurant to place my order. The phone was answered quickly and I was able to ask a few questions. Since we were carrying out, we just ordered the chicken. We chose the no sauce and garlic soy chicken. There are several options including wings, tenders and half chicken. We opted for the half chicken for both orders. It also comes with a side of pickled radish or white rice. I would highly recommend the pickled radish if you are eating at home and can make while rice. The radish was the perfect palette cleanser. The portion was very small, in a dipping sauce container but we loved it. After I placed the order, they asked when I was planning to pick it up, which I loved. Since I was in the area they quoted 10-15 minutes. The restaurant is on Frankfort Ave in the old ice cream shop. There is a small parking lot but be prepared to park and walk a short bit. The restaurant was brightly lit and inviting. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and was able to retrieve my order quickly. Now onto the chicken! It was delicious, even my kids raved about it. The half chicken included a wing, leg, thigh and breast and was fried to perfection. It was moist inside and had a great crust and crunch. I thought my kids would enjoy the no sauce but they ended up loving the garlic soy, which was sweet and had a hint of spiciness. I'm looking forward to eating inside and trying some of my favorite banchan.

Hmm. Was so excited to try some Korean Fried chicken, like the ones I see on K dramas. I saw a couple Korean FC restaurants in Seattle last year and asked my sister about them and she said, they were "meh". I didn't believe her, but I know what she means now. I'm actually being generous with the 3 stars. It's a chain restaurant with locations nationally, I don't think a lot but it's a chain. I ordered for pickup at their location on Frankfort Avenue, it's the old Comfy Cow building. It was waiting for me and the young staff were pretty friendly and got me on my way quickly. They didn't miss anything in my order. I will give them the benefit of the doubt as I didn't eat my meal at the restaurant and took it home, and it was at least 2 hours after it was made that I tried my first bite. Still, I would think it'd still be good if it was great fried chicken. I got the original CM, a whole chicken, goon mandoo, cucumber kim chee and a vegetable pancake. The chicken wasn't bad but it wasn't good either, I'd like to try it fresh sometime to really get a true sense of its taste. There were about 5-6 different flavors of sauces that you could order like lemongrass or spicy garlic. The goon mandoo was decent, I crisped them up in the air fryer. The vegetable pancake was also just okay, it seems like such an easy dish to make. The cucumber kimchi was awful, I'm almost positive that they just chopped up some mini cucumbers that morning then put in a to go container, then splashed some chili water on it right before they packed up my order. That's exactly what it tasted like. I don't mind if it's complimentary banchan, but it was like $6 for that garbage. You know what, they really deserve a 2 star for that. Chain Korean fried chicken in Kentucky, skip it and just go with the Colonel's.

This is a place that I've wanted to try for a while and finally got the chance.. it was an experience that I couldn't quite put my finger on how I felt! The chicken was great. Crispy and great flavor on the sauce. The loaded potato balls were underwhelming as I feel they needed to be fried a little longer. The inside was lukewarm and there just wasn't a whole lot going on with them. Also, not a whole lot you can do with white rice. I give it 4 stars, but would do 3.5 if that was available.

I have never tasted chicken so flavourful and so good as this!!!! I can't wait to return. It was my first time and I'm impressed. I got the honey garlic chicken pieces and shared fries and cheesy braids. So filling, I was stuffed. On top of the delicious food they even have alcoholic milk teas. Winning!!!!

I think this place is where Comfy Cow used to be. They actually have a parking lot right next to the building and plenty of street parking as well. On the inside they have plenty of seating if you want to eat inside. I found the menu to be a tad bit confusing and I think their prices are a tad high. The food tasted really good though. The chicken wings were actually large and very flavorful. I had the garlic soy wings and the taste was amazing. So much flavor and I didn't think any flavor was too overpowering. We also had just the basic cm wings which are just fried wing with no sauce. My son was disappointed because they didn't have bbq sauce. The kimchi fried rice was spicy- heads up, but I thought the taste was spot on. The spam didn't seem to have much flavor due to the flavor of the kimchi in it. The kimchi took over. I would go again. I want to try some of the other cool things on the menu.

Stupid good...we've been immersed in Korean programming and they are always seen eating fried chicken that looked decadent, CM Chicken did not disappoint!!! The curry chicken was crunchy, sticky and sweet...with the bland white rice, made the perfect combination. "Plain" fried chicken was anything but plain, super crunchy and juicy...absolutely perfect. The sides were acidic and delicious, perfect to cut through the fat and I can't even talk about the crispy mashed potato balls without tearing up, so I'll let you experience that for yourself...service was fast and prices seemed high, until you taste the food (they aren't charging enough) can't wait to go back!!!!!!!

Best crispy wings so farBeen a few times so far the flavors are good, but heavy on the sticky part and not enough flavor as either too much corn syrup or if authentic barley syrup leave a bland sweetness leaving you wanting something more acidity maybe. Very chrispy very good chicken ! Service: few times Iv gone it's ran by teenagers so... Not terribly informative complicated menu but after a few visits you'll get it what you're looking for. atmosphere : spacious indoors patio lacks room or coverings to feel comfortable eating with foot traffic.

Pretty good fried chicken! They have a choice of drumsticks, tenders or wings. Meals come with your choice of rice or pickled beets. I got the spicy garlic wings. They had a little kick but not near as spicy as I was expecting. I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for spice so don't let me be the judge of that lol but I will go for the hottest they have next time. Service was friendly & fast. You order at the counter, get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. When you're finished you throw away your things & set your tray on the trash can. Place is spacious & has three different areas for seating. Cool, casual & comfortable. Glad we stopped in. Oh, we liked their onion rings & the pickled beets. The pickled beets had a coleslaw style flavor. My mom & I were pleasantly surprised. So light & refreshing. If you're fan of boba & sweets they have plenty of options to choose from.

I've been wanting to try CM Chicken for a little while but sadly I was a little disappointed. The food itself was okay, but maybe just not what I was picturing. It was a little too pricey for an entree and the fact you just order at the counter and pick it up. We didn't wait very long and the person who took our order was friendly. I think I was just personally envisioning something else

We ordered takeout from here last week and it was SO good! I wasn't sure how the chicken would do traveling from the restaurant to our house but the chicken was incredibly crispy and we were thrilled with our meal! We will definitely get food here again!
