Classico Takeout & Empanadas

Great lunch spot during the week especially if you're downtown already. We've tried a handful of their empanadas, my favorite was the gyro. Looking forward to going back and trying a sandwich!

This little spot is so good! I used to work at Atria senior living and would walk a couple blocks to this location. The empanadas are made throughout the day and have so much flavor! I would highly recommend the Jamaican and the spicy pork. When you walk in there, the guy who greeted you and takes your order is the owner, who also owns Café Classico on Frankfort Ave. You can tell that he really cares about his craft and his customers, and he recognizes and thanks the customers who come in multiple times. I would certainly recommend this to anyone!Also, if you want a better price, on Thursdays I think you get one free if you order two or three.

The BEST lunch! I go here once or twice a month for a lunch treat and I LOVE it. Quick, easy, and polite service! Don't miss out on their 3 for 10$ on Tuesdays! They also have VEGAN options.

I LOVE EMPANADAS! These are so much better than the ones I make at home! There are so many filling options and they can heat them up for you there or you can take them home and heat them yourself. I think the Greek/Gyro filling is my favorite.

I ordered the gyro, ham egg and cheese, and chicken Empanadas. They were amazing! Well seasoned, came with some dipping sauces and the crust was perfectly flakey! Also got a delicious little hot latte. There was a 3 for $10 deal on Tuesday so that made the meal extra special. So glad I stopped by randomly.

Found this place after a visit to Angel Envy. Best empanadas I have had! We tried the chicken, beef and gyro. Not sure which was our favorite. Definitely check this place out. Quick and friendly service. Small area for two people to sit so better to go.

I wish I worked downtown so I could stop in here more often. Every empanada I've tried has been delicious. Egg and sriracha, beef, and gyro. The sauces take them to another level. I can't wait to try more empanadas and hopefully the rest of the menu. The staff and owner are super nice and helpful and the empanada display in the storefront is impressive. I only wish they were open on the weekends!

Great, and a must try hand rolled and baked light and fluffy Argentinian style empanadas! Breakfast options (eggs both meatless or with meat options), meat options (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp), vegetarian options (caprese, spinach pie) and even vegan (vegan jalapeño mozzarella). They have Tzatziki, BBQ and Chipotle Mayo dips. This is quick grab and go, fresh and warm deliciousness. They also have coffee, espresso, lunch and brunch items as well as alcoholic beverages. Grab some in your way to work (open at 8 am) or on your lunch break (currently open till 3 pm but possibly until 6 pm soon). Neat ambiance and friendly service! Highly recommended!

By happenstance I came across this restaurant. Fantastic place for a quick lunch or take home meal. A variety of different flavored, hand rolled baked argentinian empanadas. I had a Gyro, spicy pork and shrimp, and Jamaican filled empanadas. Each had its own distinctive flavors and a dipping sauce.They also offer appetizers, soups, salads, paninis, Classico sandwiches, and pizzas, along with desserts.They offer specialty coffees, beer, wine, and liquor.The owner waited on me and informed me that him and his wife also own Caffe Classico on Frankfort Avenue. Another great locally owned restaurant. Classico Takeout & Empanadas is located on South Preston St., between Main and Market. Definitely will return soon.
