Just had dinner here tonight for the first time with my family and girlfriend. We've been to Turfway many times to play slots, watch horse racing, or attend a special event. My mom has ate at Bourbon & Brew many times and recommended it, so we gave it a shot. This restaurant is centered in the middle of the gaming area. It features quite a bit of tables, bar seating, and limited booths. The booths are reserved for larger parties. They have a spot behind the bar for live music and have a huge TV above the bar for watching sporting events with many other smaller TVs around the whole area. They also have a scrolling board that will show upcoming game times/current scores. The ambiance is good for what it is. It was nice for us, but we were there before any live music and it wasn't super busy so we had a good experience without having to deal with a lot of background noise. Our service was very attentive and nice. The menu is pretty small. A lot of options that previous reviews spoke of are no longer on the menu. They pretty much offer limited appetizers, burgers, and some entrees. I would definitely check the menu before deciding to eat here to make sure there is enough interest across your group. Three of us ordered the Double Smash Burger and my girlfriend went with the caesar salad. The smash burger was good. Pretty much a basic burger, two patties and your typical fixings. It was a huge burger, so I cut mine in half. The burger came with fries as well. The meal with good just average. Nothing really special or over the top about it. I'd eat it again if I was hungry or wanting to watch a game, but not sure that I'd go out of my way to eat it again. My girlfriend said the caesar salad was good as well. The portion was huge, but it had a little too much dressing for her liking. Maybe something they should put on the side and let you put the amount you want. Overall I'd say this is a good option if you're planning on spending a lot of time gaming, betting on horse races, or watching a game at Turfway. If not, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again unless they offered more options on their menu, had rotating specials, or something that just gave it more appeal to come back. The food wasn't bad at all it just wasn't impressive.

Was a little surprising that the restaurant didn't have a better system in place with a live band performing. I was told they weren't taking names. I asked the host, "what if people leave?" She just seemed confused. We ended up just watching from outside the restaurant. An hour into the show, a different host asked if we wanted a table and we said yes. We tried to order wings but they were out of wings!!! Interesting. We ended up getting drinks and loaded fries. The fries were good. I'm ok if I don't have to go back here, host was just not good.

We ordered the chicken macaroni and the black and blue burger. The Mac was rather bland. The burger had tasty meat but so-so sauce. I upgraded to the parmesan truffle fries. These too were good but not great. The four stars is because of the atmosphere rather than food. They have a ginormous video screen (like probably 15 to 20 feet high) for sports and several other TV's plus a stage with band. It is an excellent place to watch a game! Charges on my bill were incorrect. My Stella Artois beer said $6 on the menu but they billed me $7.55. They graciously corrected it. They have only been open a week so far and are apparently still working out the kinks.

A friend and I stopped here on our way to a movie for a nice relaxing lunch. Our server, Olivia, was one of the best I've ever had. She remembered every detail of our order - and we had several customizations to make. She was courteous and friendly and did everything right.I asked for a booth since it wasn't too busy, and that request was granted without hesitation, even though those tables are for bigger parties. We ordered pretzel bites as appetizers, which were hot, and the cheese and mustard for dipping were plentiful and tasty. I also got a Caesar salad, which was huge. My friend had the house salad but requested oil and vinegar instead of the house dressing - which was no problem at all. For entrees, my friend asked for pulled pork without the sauce or the bun (she's on a Keto diet), and they were super accommodating. She subbed her fries with Brussel sprouts, and they did not use the glaze at her request. Again, we were blown away by the ease with which we got what we asked for. I had the NY Strip steak with mac and cheese. It was delicious and cooked perfectly medium.Apart from being out of the rumored excellent bread pudding dessert, I can't imagine how things could have been any better. We'll definitely be back!

If you don't know, you must be 21 to enter. Restaurant is in the middle of the casino. We didn't know and booked a reservation for a special occasion and were turned away because our 18 yo daughter was with us.

If you are planning to come here on a night when there is a live band, they expect you to automatically charge up at least $50 worth of food and drinks. You are only allowed to sit at your table for 2 hours, and if you want to stay longer to watch the band, they will charge you an additional $50! First of all , we don't eat dinner at 9:30 or 10:00 at night so we wouldn't be ordering food at that hour. We are not big drinkers, so we wouldn't order $50 worth of drinks. What difference does it make in how much food and / or drinks you order ? This is ridiculous! This place is only interested in making money and not accommodating customers

Disappointed in the boom boom shrimp. Says "sweet sauce". It is hot Buffalo sauce straight out of a bottle. Fried shrimp nuggets like at Golden Corral. Nothing like Hard Rock. Oh well...live and learn.Omg!!!! $16 for a shot of vodka! No flippin way! Wow!!! Zero stars!

Be aware of the table policy. Apparently you get 2 hours at a table and then spend $50 each hour thereafter. If you don't spend $50 they will bill you. This is not good if you want to listen to the bands in the evening. Also, the bands do not start until 10 pm in most cases. Ridiculous policy and hours.
