Chocomania

The good is, it's chocolate everything. The bad is the pricing!It's almost overwhelming from all the decisions you have to choose from. We were definitely rushed to make our decisions. We have decided to add to family time and make our own from home, it's a lot more fun and enjoyable!

I was in Georgetown and decided to check out this dessert cafe that I heard about. A cute little place with an array of pastries and bonbons. A bit pricey, but I selected a slice of Lemon Berry Marscapone Cake to have with my afternoon tea. It was dreamy. They also have gelato and coffee. You must stop in for a goodie if you're nearby.21

After seeing many images of the sweets that Chocomania offered, my friend and I decided to take a trip from Lexington to Georgetown to give them a try. I ordered a hazelnut truffle and a chocolate dome filled with chocolate mousse and chocolate cake. The truffle was ok but the dome was delicious. It's a rather small bakery that offers a variety of sweets including jelly beans, ice cream and many display cases filled with homemade goods.

This is very cute chocolate store, and other sweets. Some of the chocolates and neat designs and clever combinations. Also for throwing together a gift they have gift ideas and booze. Plus it is local and not a big corporate store, great to support local.

Wow! The customer service here is phenomenal! The guy working was so sweet and informative. The truffles and Death by Chocolate Cake we tried were so good! Very rich and definitely homemade - had a much better taste compared to store bought. It is a family run business so that makes me love this place even more (: the price is reasonable and the store itself is so cute and homey. This would be a great place for gifts, especially holidays like Valentines Day and Easter. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Georgetown !!

The owners are super nice, and the food tastes good. I'm pretty sure the sandwiches have gotten smaller since they opened, though. What you see in the picture was $12.99 + tax. I don't mind paying for good food (and it certainly is a tasty sandwich), but that's too much for a small sandwich and tiny bag of chips. If you want a canned drink, that's extra. Besides lunch, they have a lovely variety of homemade desserts. Everything from the dessert case that I've tasted was excellent.

Highly overrated and overpriced. I bought a piece of cheesecake (my favorite dessert) and threw it away. It did not seem to be a baked cheesecake. It was more of a pudding texture than the creamy texture I prefer. Their truffles were decent, nothing extraordinary. The food selection was disappointing as there were only one vegan option (hummus and carrot slices). Bought 2 pieces of cake, 1 slice of cheesecakes and a few truffles and the price was almost $40! ​​

Amazing ! Way better than any other local bakery in Georgetown. Love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

owned by the best family in town! genuinely some of the best dessert i've ever eaten and i truthfully don't even like chocolate, or rather I didn't like the chocolate I had eaten before, this was unbelievably good.
