While I always love me some Chinese food, I try to be careful of the places I go to, since some can easily be sketchy, have low health ratings or give me a horrendous case of food poisoning. But I will say that China Star is a nice place with good food. It definitely isn't anything fancy, however you can come here and get a budget-friendly, quality meal. The service isn't really anything to brag about, but it's not bad either. The food here is pretty typical to Americanized-Chinese, but there's a lot to choose from on their menu. I went with the sesame chicken combo (which comes with rice and an eggroll) and it was great...a TON of food with it too!! This made for a great stop right before getting groceries at Kroger next door!

I've been going to China Star for years. It's by my work, but I haven't been in awhile and today I went there and was shocked when I ate my General Tso chicken. There was NO chicken in it. It was nothing but breading with a tiny speck of chicken inside. I will not be going back. Very disappointed. Didn't used to be like that. There was more chicken in the rice than the General Tso.

Wanted to like this place but..Sweet and sour chicken usually served with some veggies and pineapple had none. Chicken was mostly breading. Carry out was on time and accurate.
