Food is passable but not as good as the China Cafe up the road from it. Price could also be better.

When you have to pay before you eat - Beware!! - Also, a sign saying "NO REFUNDS" is a good warning. I didn't heed it.The food at the Buffet is warm, bordering on cold. I'm sure a Health Food Inspector would close it down for that reason alone. They don't refill the items that are low or empty very often. I was only able to find 2 items that were hot enough to eat, and they were alright, but I didn't get my money's worth. The fact that sodas are included is a plus, but no deserts and an out of order ice cream machine negates that. Also, if you love chow mein like I do, don't order it here ... you'll be greatly disappointed.Go back, NO. Recommend it to others, NO.I have to admit that I love Chinese, and have yet to find anywhere in Kentucky that serves good Chinese food.

Awful, just...awful. I'd rather starve than eat at China Cafe again. The sushi was probably more than a day old, with the sauce on top literally hardened from sitting out for so long. Just sitting in this place made me feel like I was getting food poisoning,

Probably some of the worst food I've ever had. As a college student, when I splurge on food, it had better be good - China Cafe was awful. It was disappointing on basically all conceivable levels and is an affront to the entirety of the Asian culture. Go literally anywhere else.

I always liked the food here but you don't have as many choices as some places do but the food is always fresh and decent quality. If you want more of something just ask. They still have soft serve ice cream and also have Ale8 on the soda fountain. Try it out.

Ok. First time we visited nobody was at the counter. I knocked on the door to the office/kitchen and nobody answered. Fortunately this place is entirely self-serve. My roommate and I proceeded to help ourselves and paid afterwards. The food was good not amazing but awesome for the price. Service non-existent other than you're supposed to pay prior to eating. During our 2nd visit the majority of entrees were cold and not as fresh, not sure if this had to do with time of day or staff working. I'd recommend if you're looking to spend under 10 bucks and have a hankering for Chinese cuisine.

Looks super suspicious but it's actually pretty good. The food is alright (ya know probably no where near authentic but tastes good for the price) and the buffet gets changed often (fresh food was brought out and all old food was replaced while I was there chatting.) it's also surprisingly clean for how it looks on the outside. It's a solid place that really doesn't deserve the 1 star reviews it has (its really like a 4 but I'm hoping my 5 helps balance things out)

NRA will hear about this. If I could give 0 stars I would. I just come from getting takeout. I asked Doug at the front if he could get more pepper chicken out because the food on the buffet was hard and dried out. He said " Sure thing they'll have it right out."10 minutes go by and nothing about the chicken is spoke of. While I am waiting FOR MY FOOD. He says "Go ahead and put your food up here." Proceeded to weigh it out and tell me my total. How're you gonna push a customer away?

We have been coming here for a while. Though, thanks to COVID-19, they are serving the buffet (instead of self serve), the food is still delicious!

Amazing, recommend the coco Chickey. Great employees, always know what I want. Super cheap as a college lad
