Chen Garden

Our go to spot for Chinese food. Call it in and deliciousness is around the corner. 1. Spring rolls with shrimp 10/102. MuShu Beef 10/103. Vegetable Lo Mein 10/10 4. Crab Rangoon 10/105. Fried Rice 10/10Sweetest people and great food!

My order was $149 so we tried a little bit of everything from The lo mein noodles to the sweet and sour etc. my over all comment is too much broccoli in everything. Not Chinese broccoli but big hunks of regular broccoli in everything It's seems that most dishes if there is any vegetable the dominant is broccoli. For the cost would except more protein and a variety of Chinese vegetables. Had beef with assorted vegetable 80% broccoli. Garlic shrimp mostly broccoli schewan beef mostly broccoli even the orange chicken had broccoli. Noodle dishes had so little protein I wouldn't know the difference between the beef pork and chicken as there was so little protein. So disappointed the food was very one note in terms of good chineseThe plus it was served hot cooked fresh the staff was friendly. Didn't feel I got good value for my money Would look for another alternative for Chinese

We really like Chinese food and we don't have many locations to choose from where we are. We have gone to all the nearby locations and we keep coming back to Chen Garden. They have the best we have found in this area. They have reasonable priced lunch specials with delicious fried rice and egg rolls. And they have a very good selection of dishes and offer great tasting soups. We like the Hot n Sour the best. We will continue to return here.

It's above average chinese food and the lady at the register is nice and has an amazing memory. There's not much ambience as it is primarily a carry out restaurant with only a couple tables.

Chen Garden's is excellent! They have all the traditional dishes like General Tso's, Kung Pao and fried rice, the list goes on and on. Super friendly staff cranks out the orders even at their busiest time...the dinner rush! There's only two tables for dine-in so takeout is the primary option. You won't find better prices around!

We aways order from here when we are in town. Love their vegetarian options. Friendly staff and food is always hot!

I assign 3 stars, though I have no substantial proof of any wrong doing, I had a large order for 9 people. Two out of the 9 had an instant negative reaction to the food. It tasted normal but it seemed something may have been amiss with the dishes containing chicken .

Chicken with cashews. The chicken was so tough I thought it was beef. Chicken fried rice was bland. Moo goo gai pan was okay. It's the only one of the three I would consider ordering again. Next time I think I'll drive into Louisville in search of some Chinese food with some more flavor.

Maybe it's because my standards are low or there isn't a whole lot of options in LaGrange, but for me and the family, Chen Garden is where it's at.Good soups, rolls, entrees , and probably the best crab Rangoon I've ever had.This place isn't much to look at and there is NO indoor seating. Prices are fair, but to feed a family of four expect to drop about $50, depending on what you get. Staff has always been nice enough, but when you call they NEVER take your name... they write down the number. They always insist on you taking sauces home, and that's how I got hooked on spicy mustard. Check the super saver, there's always coupons!

I think it is the best Chinese restaurant in LaGrange. Good ingredients, quality meats, kind and quick service. Not greasy! You can't order online so that prevents me from going there often. No delivery. But that's the only thing I would change.
