UPDATE July 9, 2022: Against my better judgment, my wife and I gave Charlie Wilson's a 2nd chance and purchased a new washer, dryer and microwave. A much better experience this time around. Fast and efficient delivery and installation of the washer and dryer. A couple of days later, fast and efficient delivery and installation of our new over-the-counter microwave. All-in-all, a much more positive experience. Increase rating from 1 to 3 stars as a result. We're very satisfied this time.

I am a special education teacher and was in need of a fridge for my classroom. My students cook various dishes and we need a place to keep our cooking supplies. Unfortunately, our fridge broke and so I reached out to local appliance stores to try and have one donated that was dented or scratched. Eddie reached out and told me that the ones they had were already purchased but he would let me know if any more came in. More than a month went by and I was unable to get a fridge. Imagine my surprise when Eddie contacted me to let me know that a customer had a fridge they were replacing (the icemaker was the only thing that didn't work) and after hearing our story, this former teacher said we could have her old fridge! Eddie and his kindness in remembering a teacher who needed a fridge says a lot about the customer service at Charlie Wilson's. The customer service we received when we bought appliances was fantastic and the thoughtfulness of the staff is why they've been around for so long! Thank you, Eddie!

We had a great experience at Charlie Wilson with Neil. He walk us all around the show room showing us all the options in the refrigerator style we were looking for. I did not feel pressured to buy something that was out of my budget. He answered all our questions. Looked up details he did know and was very friendly. We will go back to get other things as needed.

Unlucky for me, my washer and dryer started to 'go' at the same time. Consumer Reports recommended machines that my family & friends did not or didn not the hottest reviews on store websites. While I had some ideas of what I wanted, I wasn't keen on any machine. I also wasn't keen on taking my laundry to my boyfriend's house. Time was ticking, looked at big box stores inquiring about "white good." (Apparently, I'm an old soul.) A friend recommended Charlie Wilson's and I decided to check it out. Wonderful. Walked in thinking I was just looking, came out with a purchased washer and dryer to be delivered, installed and old set hauled away. The delivery time was 24 hours!!! I had new my set less than 24 hours later. There was one hang up on the install - the hose that came with the washer machine wasn't long enough to reach the pipe contraption for rinse/drain. However, the installer told me exactly what I needed for this to be successful, explained how to fix it myself with additional parts. The customer service person I worked with was FANTASTIC! He wasn't pushy, he taught me the bells/whistles of my new washer and dryer set. The price was less than Costco. I highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be back to buy other white goods and the like for my home.

This is our first experience w/ Charlie Wilson's. We purchased our kitchen appliances 10 years ago as first time homeowners. We basically walked into a big box store and randomly made a purchase. 10 years later and we were looking for a high level of personal involvement from our sales representative. We wanted to form a relationship with a locally owned company that would be on our side. We found that in our representative Chris Kelly. We were able to make an informed decision. He walked us through many different options. We never felt as if we were being sold. Their show room, models that were available for a quick delivery & prices are unparalleled. I do highly recommend them.

I bought an LG refrigerator from another appliance store 3 years ago. The water and ice tasted nasty. The other appliance store and LG said it was my water source. Even though never had a problem with water before we got this refrigerator. Went to Charlie Wilsons for a microwave and talked to their people and they sold me a $15 hose and told me what to do and I did now we can use our water and ice from a very expensive LG refrigerator. Thank you to all fo Charlie Wilsons staff!

Service was on point. The service manager Kyle was very customer friendly. He and another guy put in my refrigerator. They both were very friendly and informative. They made sure I was satisfied with my refrigerator before they left

I needed a new refrigerator. I felt the salesman, Eddie, was knowledgeable about refrigerators. After buying my refrigerator, he told me it would be delivered on following Tuesday, then didn't schedule the delivery! I called to find out why I had not gotten word of 3 hour window for delivery, then found out I wasn't even scheduled as I was told. Jim, the salesman I spoke to about this was very helpful in scheduling delivery in a timely manner for a couple days later. The delivery itself was handled extremely well by Jerry. Jerry was professional, courteous, very careful in removing my old refrigerator & setting up new one. He measured first to ensure selected doorways were wide enough, etc. for the moves. Can't say enough to compliment Jerry. It's unfortunate this buying experience was tarnished by Eddie not completing sale correctly & more importantly, not calling me to apologize he made an error... Ask for salesman Jim if you go there to shop...

Very bad experience and conversations with the store owner were very confusing and difficult. We bought a dishwasher, but the pump motor didn't work (the manufacturer's repair representative said the dishwasher had been dropped, most likely in the factory. We asked owner Dave Wilson to allow us to return the dishwasher or replace it, but he refused, saying in one conversation that returning the dishwasher would put him out of business (though I would consider returning it to be reasonable customer service).Mr. Wilson said all dishwashers are fully inspected before they leave the store and the damage must have occurred after it left the store (either by us or by the plumber who installed it). His assertion that dishwashers are fully inspected made now sense as I wondered if every dishwasher is unpacked and inspected to see if it works, yet he argued they are all inspected. And, even though the manufacturer's representative said the dishwasher most likely was dropped in the factory, Mr. Wilson focused on our handling and how we should contact the plumber because we overpaid the plumber. Ultimately, the manufacturer was very helpful, but the local store owner leaves me with a bitter taste, after years of imagining that Charlie Wilson's was a hometown store with hometown courtesy. And, I will know not to shop there again.
