The Carousel Restaurant

Took my sister to lunch and this was her choice. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Our order was taken and the plates were delivered as ordered. My chicken breast was grilled perfectly and done but still juicy. The spinach and Brussels sprouts were seasoned well. The place is clean and comfortable with a good noise level. It is the kind of place our parents or grandparents would love. Vegetables cooked so "done" you shouldn't have to chew. My sister loves the place and the staff. What they do they do well. I just prefer to chew my veggies.

I really WANT to like this restaurant. The quality of food is just not there for me. I've tried breakfast and lunch there and it just was okay.

Fast and thoughtful service! I like when a server knows to pace my food order. I hate whenever I dine alone things show up before I finished the first course.Jenny did just that. She watched to be certain I was finished before putting in the next portion of my order to the kitchen.The food was everything I had expected from a diner. I had meatloaf with brown gravy along with buttered green beans and a side salad. I was offered bread roll or corn muffin. I went for the corn and I suggest you do too.Finished my meal with a slice of homemade carrot cake yum yum!I am a bit of a coffee snob so that fell below my standard but then again this is a diner.

Pretty good diner fare. Staff is friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. I normally get their omelettes or turkey sausage which are always good. Their lunch fare is also decent as well. The salads are fresh and their soups and chili are very good as well. Prices are reasonable as well.

We do not recommend eating here. Our waitress was very nice and friendly but the food was horrible. Taste like cheap microwave meals. The fish n chips were just frozen fish sticks and French fries. So many good places in this area to eat do not waste your money and time going here. McDonalds would be a better choice.

I mean, the food was fine. I ordered a tuna melt and fries, but the tuna melt was lukewarm at best, and the flavor wasn't all that great. I can make better food at home, and honestly I kinda wish I would have. At least it wasn't that pricey. But I would give the service five stars, because they were attentive, even with our group being pretty big, and the restaurant seemed very accommodating for senior customers, letting them play cards during lunch and helping them with their menu options.

This is American diner food. Tons of options at good prices. This is not the place to go if you are looking for trendy or upscale. But if you are looking for a good meal at reasonable prices, this is your place. Recently went as a group of 4 adults and 1 child at noon. Half ordered breakfast, half ordered plate lunches. All was done well and came out at the same time. Waitress was attentive. Bill was @$45 for the whole table, not bad. Restaurant had been recently remodeled and dining room and bathroom felt nice and clean.

What a horrible experience. We were not greeted but seated right away. Took our drink order - chocolate milk and water. Took 15 minutes to get it. Took our order. Food came out. Some of it. Had to ask 3 different people several times what we still needed. 30 minutes later, still no food. Eggs were cold by now. I saw our waitress put plates of food up on the counter (which I goi d out were our pancakes) and put her coat on and walked out. Someone brought us the pancakes. No butter and still no toast for my eggs that were now cold. We left . Always like to support local but this is one that we will not be going back to. Now off to try and finally get some breakfast

much better, dressing was raw, turkey was stringy boiled and needs cut up and seasoning, green beans and yams are without seasoning, ham and pie were ok which is 1point, warm carry out on a holiday another point , over all over priced for the quality. wont be back for thanksgiving. better off going else where. They do have a couple of meals that are ok through the week. green beans used to be seasoned and long cooked not any more. Quality has suffered in recent years.

Seriously worst food I've had out. I ordered an Oriental Salad. I've had those $1 microwave meals that had better tasting food. It was just bland and the a few pieces of steak had gristle on them. I seriously spit twice into my napkin before I gave up. The picture had water chestnuts and other things in the salad. It was actually made with steak strips, rice, and green beans. It was pretty tasteless also. I poured some of the sauce that came with it to make it taste better and it didn't taste very good either so I just decided I was finished.The person I went with ordered the pork chop which they didn't finish because it was dry.Didn't see the waitress again after I ordered my food. Some other guy dropped it off and I was there another 15 minutes without anyone checking on us. I just went up front to pay, left no tip and will not be back.
