Here for eclipse. Great place for drink and food in center square. Lots of people hanging.

Good service and food. Neat decor as well. Been here for a while but this is the first time I came in.

Our experience here was just---odd. First off, I really like the vibe, it's decorated nicely, the atmosphere is very cool.They advertise "signature cocktails", when one of our party asked what signature cocktails they offer, he responded "I don't know, but I can google anything". Such an interesting response. Food was decent. One of our party ordered pizza, and after a VERY extended wait it came out, but was wrong, but by then we'd been there long enough we didn't want to wait to have it remade.I'm willing to give them another try. Not a terrible experience, but a bit substandard in my eyes.

This bar is awesome! We love Taco and Trivia Tuesday's! $1.00 tacos and straining your brainWednesday's are Karaoke nights and Thursday are Open Mike. Live music on Friday and Saturday. Hours are 3-11 pm.Cool decor and friendly service. They do have some pub food, pizza and breadsticks but no menu.The bar is very small so go early for a seat.There is also outdoor seating. Park on the circle, walk in and enjoy!

This fairly new, established corner bar could possibly be one of those places where "everyone does know your name". A nice addition to Shelbyville's downtown on the square, they have put quite a bit of money into renovating this into a cozy, local watering hole. The people are very friendly and once you understand their venue and scope of operations, you'll be fine. First the "Don'ts". They don't have anything on tap & they don't offer food in the way of meals etc. They do have some Live music on Thursday, Friday's & Saturday's. Usually a one-man band but hey it's something. One element I really do like is the "TouchTunes" Digital Music system. You can play music through a nice kiosk mounted on the wall or, what I prefer, load the App on your phone, fill it directly from your credit card or Apple Pay and select music right from your seat via your phone. Also, by using an extra credit, you can even push your song "to the front of the line" to play next! How cool is that, you can't even get most DJ's to do that. They offer some snack & bar food (I can personally vouch for the Pretzel Logs served with Cheese which are quite good). Capone's did open many months prior to Riverfront Taproom and I was concerned for them when the Taproom finally did open (late December of 2016). But it turns out, they are not really any competition for each other. They are both about as opposite venues as you can get. When I am in the mood for Capone's, I'm not for the Taproom and vice-versa. Turns out the owners of each are friends, so I hope they can compliment each other.Anyway, I love both places and hope they both do well as they are really nice additions to Shelbyville. One last thing, they are non-smoking which is a big plus for me.So if you're in the area check them out and see how you like em' - they do carry a wide variety of bottled & canned beers, hard ciders etc as well as and a Full Bar.Yelp #62 02.17.17

Great place to have a drink! Excellent service, friendly staff and you won't find better owners who are frequently available. They do plenty of special events and special nights like karaoke, trivia, etc. definitely recommend if you're in the area!

This place is great! No smoking is a major asset and the owners are so friendly. Great entertainment and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more.

Food was just soso. Service was good. I thought it would have more Memorabilia of Al Capone, and others. Not much at all. Will give it another try tho for the food.
