This was not my friends first time being here, but it was definitely mine & I do not regret it one bit! I do believe it was a Friday night, so it was expected to be busy but tables were clearing in a timely manner!I really love the dark & moody vibe it was giving at night. We are some true tinned fish girlies! We ordered the smoked trout & the smoked salmon with Szechuan chili crisp, as well as the cashew queso! Drinks were made well & tasted perfect! The trout was delicious! The cashew queso is definitely a go for if that's your thing. It was also very yummy. The absolute star of the show was that to die for smoked salmon! Now fishwife is a pretty expensive brand of tin fish in my opinion, however, I believe it to be worth every penny! I definitely went & bought a couple tins of the salmon from World Market, about a week later! The bartender that served us , she was so friendly & easy to talk to! You all should definitely give this place a try!

I have heard whispers of this place and finally decided to check it out. It is across the street from Toasty's, which I would suggest getting a meal there before coming here, Canary club does not serve food. I go in and it does seem to give evening lounge vibes. I also liked the crowd that was there, no rowdy crowds here. I sit at the bar and browse the menu. I proceeded to tell the bar tender it was my first time visiting there. I was asked what I prefer or my likes, I did proceed to tell her I would like something other than bourbon beings I have visited nearby Trouble Bar. Was given some suggestions and went for Business with Pleasure Cocktail, I liked that one and another one I ordered but forgot the name.I do happen to like this place and the ambience of it. I do plan on returning to try their other cocktails. I wish I could remember the bartenders name to give her a shoutout on here.

Came here tonight for a drink before heading to dinner. The bartenders were attentive and made incredible drinks! We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back again. Also wandered around the adjoining shop and really enjoyed the entire experience. Bought some orange wine and can't wait to try it. Will definitely be back soon!

Came here for lunch. I didn't realize they had a pop up that Saturday and due tot his didn't have the regular menu. I got a sandwich from the pop up and it was delicious! I also ordered a sparkling Lambrusco and it was divine! I enjoyed my quick visit. The decor is vintage and true to the original location. Which I appreciate. I wish I had more to say. Service was okay. It was more of a self service and the bartenders were nice but nothing exceptional.

This bar was one of our highlights of our time in Louisville. The staff was patient, kind, and welcoming the entire time. We drank outside on the patio where people were playing basketball and enjoying the warm weather. We then snagged a booth in the saloon and was a welcomed gathering space. The bar is very inclusive and the drinks for fire. Definitely a must visit.

Oh, how I have been excited to try Canary Club! And even though I didn't get to stay long, it didn't disappoint. We happily arrived during Happy Hour (4-6 p.m.), and this includes $5 spritzes. Prosecco plus some bitters -- this was just *chef's kiss* during a warm spring day. I also got the Patatas Bravas, which featured small potatoes in bravas sauce, drizzled with garlic aioli. I can't get these out of my head! I'm going to get these each time I go. The flavors just work so well together. I loved the mix of dive bar + wines and fun drinks on the menu. It also features a great outdoor seating area. Next time I'm going to shop next door at Breeze for wine and fun food to take home with me too. Canary Club + Breeze, take all my monies!

This place is quickly becoming my new favorite place. We went on a Sunday around 6:00pm. It was pretty busy inside. All the booths & tables were taken but there will still open spots at the bar. So we were able to grab 2 seats at the bar. The bartender told us today was last day of their winter wine menu so all bottles of wine are 1/2 off. We decided on doing a wine flight. You can choose 3 wines & you get 2oz pours for $15. Definitely a great way to try a few things!

The bartender was a pro! When we were ordering wine flights she was very helpful in helping us choose what would be best for us! Wine was great and the atmosphere was cozy. They had the doors open so there was a nice breeze inside. Would be a good place to have a group meet/hangout. Will definitely be coming back!

Canary Club, the fancy humans combination corner shop and bar/small bites spot is marvelous. We stopped by on the final night of super soft open and had a lovely time. If I had not known it was a soft open, I wouldn't have known. The team seemed in sync. The speed and efficiency was lovely, everything in place. The bar was busy, but felt comfortable. For most of the evening the volume stayed at reasonable conversation levels, which was marvelous. It's so rare to go out and actually chat with people at a speaking not shouting level. The wine selection was, of course, on point. The Breeze has always been a fine purveyor of all the good goods, so it's no surprise their bar would be appointed with the same level of attention. The food overall was good but simple. The space looks like they've got a full on kitchen, so i'm very curious as the space settles what other offerings they may bring out. I see wine, i'm thinking cheese and charcuterie pairings of course. They had a charcuterie cone on the menu, which was a nice option and visually is fascinating. Eating it was a practical operational difficulty. We ended up having to get a plate and dumping it onto the plate to get access to the nuts and dried fruit that had settled to the bottom of the cone. But beyond that simple kitchen light offering, I'm seeing sandwiches, grilled cheeses, a burger, a lovely bright salad. So many things could make this space a place that one would want to saddle up and stick around drinking wine and grazing for hours on end. Truly excited for what this space will continue to evolve and become. Welcome to the neighborhood Canary Club!

I recently got to try a cocktail from their new spring menu - Spring Sprung. What drew me in was the gin and absinthe. It was refreshing, delicious, and PURPLE! It was also garnished with a very pretty flower, which is a very nice touch. It tends to get pretty busy around 7pm and beyond here, I think, so I'm glad that Ian and I grabbed a seat at the bar around 6:30.We also took the long way out and checked out the courtyard area. There's a basketball hoop out there that we hadn't noticed before! Really cool and the outdoor area looked pretty with the plants in bloom.
