Campbell's Barn Restaurant & Saloon

Stopped in for lunch today. Server greeted us and told us to have a seat. She came over and got our drink order right away. We both ordered to chicken Philly sandwich, one with fries, one with onion rings. The food came out within 10 minutes. Everything was hot and as ordered. Onion rings were hand breaded but, a little greasy. Fries were crisp and not greasy. Sandwiches were good. Our server, Andi, was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Overall, a hearty lunch and good experience.

We had driven past this place for years and years but never knew what it was. I think here on Yelp, I finally figured it out. We've been a handful of times since. Think southern style cookin'. The regulars recommended the fried chicken - OMG. Best fried chicken I've ever had. Their grilled chicken salad is huge and an awesome bang for your buck. It's easily 2 meals. Next time I'm trying to fried fish.

First time here. Great homemade food. I couldn't imagine the wait if it was packed. They had a sign on the door to be patient. Only a few people in he restaurant since it was late afternoon. Prices were very reasonable. My son and i each ordered the 4 strip and 2 side meals. The specialty of the house is chicken. They also recommended the waleye sandwich and reuben. Cheese stick appertizer was amazing. They are either mozzarella or pepperjack. They are the fattest ones i have ever had. The waitress said they are a specialty as well. The restaurant is an old barn that used to be a party hall. Sweet tea was super sweet, very Southern. Great service. Lots of televisions with sports.

Oh my tons of food. It's so good worth a hour drive to come back. The service was spot on.

Ate here alone on Saturday for lunch. There were about 8 tables occupied. There were only 2 servers, a male and a female, and the male was doing almost all the work, but he was really hustling, so the service was good and attentive. I had the mushrooms with spicy ranch appetizer and the meat loaf dinner with jalapeno cheddar potatoes and green beans. Everything tasted great. I had strawberry shortcake for dessert--small portion, but good. This place was a 45 minute drive away, so I probably can't return soon, but anyone on the east side of Cincy would probably find it a rewarding experience.

A pleasant surprise right in the 'hood! A friend had recommended it but we just kept driving by; one day, after a hectic day at work, he said: how about The Barn for dinner? Why not?We both had the walleye; it was fried perfectly. Outstanding. The sides were delicious as well: salad was fresh and crisp, Mac and cheese was creamy, green beans spot on! Absolutely one of the best country pork chops I've had in a very long time. Cooked to perfection with baked potato and coleslaw. What another fantastic meal.

The wait staff is way over stressed. Need at least twice as many servers.Beer was flat and waiter never checked on me to see. Could have seen for himself.

The service was just fine , however it was thanksgiving and they were hurting for help . So they let my food go with another person but i got his and had his number. Long story short we just traded and never thought about it once . Food is always good! And always plenty . I must say its a place to see, unique.

Good food, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff pleasant and responsive to requests.
