CaffeMarco

We made a special trip to Paris just to try CaffèMarco. Hours posted on yelp and Google both said the business was open. When we arrived, and found parking, the was a sign out front that said "available two doors down". We went down to Hopewell bakery (it's wonderful).To find Marco's coffee setup for sale to be brewed at home, or a carafe of Marco's coffee set up on the bar. I did get a cup of coffee to try. And a sample bag to try at home. The coffee was nothing spectacular. It can be compared to hotel lobby coffee, honestly. Thank goodness we found the gem that is Hopewell, so the trip was not wasted.

We tried Caffe Marco at the Farmers Market in Lexington. The orange and fig espresso tonic from Marcos has a perfect balance between bitter and sweet. The natural sweetness of the fig syrup mellows the bold bitterness of the espresso, creating a harmonious flavor profile. The citrusy brightness of the orange adds a refreshing, zesty note that complements the deep, rich tones of the coffee. Left to his own creativity, the barista created the perfect ratio of ingredients and was spot on with adding a splash of oat milk to give the drink, a little creaminess without taking away from the taste. It was the perfect drink for a stroll through the farmers market, offering a sophisticated yet refreshing experience that pairs beautifully with a relaxed, sunny morning. Come to Paris for the drink of the summer!

Our office doesn't get moving until that first pot of Caffe Marco coffee brews every morning. To mix things up we order both medium and dark roasts, though both are so loved that I can't say whether there's actually a favorite. The customer service Arthur provides is top notch. I can't recommend Caffe Marco highly enough!

Overall, a great company! I've never met the old lad who owns this, but he has a swell young grandson who is a just the cream of the crop when it comes to the coffee business. I come here often in search of good coffee and a great swell time. I love these people and the quality roasts they give off. XOXOXO

I went to his store on three occasions and during two of those visits I encountered two different very rude female employees. I would not go back again. Now I roast my own raw beans with a hot air popcorn popper at home. It's very easy to do and economical.
