"Green District is my go-to spot for fresh and delicious salads in Louisville. The ingredients are always incredibly crisp, and the variety of toppings and dressings is unbeatable. I ordered the 'Chicken Salad...Salad' and it was the perfect mix of ingredients. You can tell they take their quality seriously. The service is super quick, even during busy lunch hours. The salads are on the pricier side but the portions are pretty generous."
"I like trying out places to eat that are new to me, so since I don't get to Gnaw Bone very often, this place seemed to meet that requirement as well as offer some really tasty options for a nice lunch before wandering around Nashville and Brown County. The restaurant doesn't have much signage, so use your GPS and keep an eye open (or take a friend to help you spot it!) The entrance is down a small slope by the golf carts. Once inside, the bar/dining area were kept dark and cool. It wasn't too dark. We could easily read our menus. My wife ordered a local craft beer and I got an unsweetened iced tea. She decided to go with the Chef's salad which had a lot of ham. I went with a Reuben that came with the 1000 island dressing in a large packet. The meat was sliced thick and quite tasty on its own. Adding the sauerkraut and dressing to the marbled rye bread made for an excellent sandwich. Although I like trying new places, I would gladly return here for another meal. Rview #3951"
"Excellent place for a quick salad with several tasty combinations and convenient take-out service. I look forward to making it a regular destination!"
"The owner is a fantastic human being. He was so gracious and walked through the whole menu with us and made suggestions....even throwing in freebies since you can tell that he's really proud of his food, and rightly so. It seems that Cincinnati tends to be at the higher price point for Mediterranean food, generally speaking. This is exactly where this place finds its niche: fighting that elevated price tag. Finally there is a place that is slinging good food without elevating the cost. The platters come with a side of nicely warmed pita that isn't the type of cardboard that comes out of the package that other places sell as an afterthought. The interior looks like it definitely caters to the take out aspect; however, there are a few tables inside and they will bring your food out to you after you place your order at the counter. Overall, no complaints, and happy to have a place like this around the area."
"Great Food!! We were visiting from out of town and friends told us about this place. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was for a bar and grill type place. We had the Italian Grinder, Bacon Cheeseburger and sample appetizers everything was hot and fresh. Our waitress Brittany was on it, never had to ask for refills and was super nice. Loved the welcoming atmosphere, we recommend and would visit again next trip."
"WE LOVE PEEWEE'S!! My mom and dad started coming to PeeWee's after church each Sunday for breakfast and we've started joining. The food is always so good and the service is great. They remember us and bring us our coffee cups and shots of baileys for said coffee as soon as we sit. The portions are large enough that my daughter and I share most mornings, our favorite is the scrambler with goetta, all the add ons and pepper jack cheese. The is a small family run place that is so welcoming and friendly you feel like you are at home. You've gotta try this place!!!"
"Friendly place. Small and family owned. The food was excellent and prices reasonable. Service was excellent. Felt like family."
"YES! Their food is FUCKING YUMMY. Mmmmmmmm! Like damn! Coconut pie was making me lick my lips! Lady serving me was a total cutie too!"
"Excellent service by Kennedie. Delicious food too. You can even go by yourself. They have a salad and soup bar if you're into that and everything in the menu for all ages and dietary restrictions. I tell everyone to go before they leave town. I'll be back next time I'm around. Thanks for your hospitality."
"I was running behind on my schedule and so I decided to grab a quick lunch to go while downtown in Washington. Turns out this place is known for its organic food and drinks, primarily for its coffee items. I saw on Yelp that they carried wraps and though they weren't listed on the menu board, I asked and was directed to a small cooler that had two types: vegetarian and Organic Turkey. I grabbed the latter of the two along with an unsweetened Iced Tea and soon back on the road, making up time on my schedule. The turkey wrap was filled with fresh ingredients including a bright green spinach. There were some condiments to maintain the moisture in the sandwich. Although not a very big wrap, it had good flavor and was enough to tide me over. The coffee shop has an eclectic interior and has a label as "the coolest place in town." It was pretty quiet at lunch time with several folks set up in nooks or booths working away . The staff was friendly and speedy...so much so that I forgot to ask where such an unusual name came from.Fortunately, I heard from the shop which said that the name came from the original owners who were fans of the group "Wilco". The song "Theologians" contained the words "Cherry Ghost". Interviews with the band suggest that it means something that is fondly remembered. Seems fitting for the place.Review #3183"
"The godfather sandwich was amazing. I wish I lived closer so I could make this a frequent stop. The bread was very fresh Service absolutely amazing."
"Great service and great salad. (Cobb). Hearty portions. Bathroom was clean! Will return"

We live about a mile up the road from the Salt Creek Golf Course, and we go and have lunch there at least once a week. They are very reasonably priced and they have the BEST burger in town, thick and juicy and cooked perfectly. And they offer daily specials as well. I've gotten the Reuben before and it's one of the best I've had in a long time. It's a shame that more people don't know about the 19th Hole because it's a great place to eat. We often sit outside at tables that overlook the golf course on sunny days. A beautiful view as you eat your lunch! The food is really soooo much better than many of the restaurants in the town of Nashville. Check it out for yourself and see. I know you'll thank me!

And oasis of delicious green in the bourbon and steak district! I'm so glad I found this place. Service was great, food delicious. I got the GD special with Caesar dressing substituted for the ranch, and I could not have been happier

Loved it! First things first, though, pull hard on the door if it's during business hours. It's not locked... just sticks. I'm sure they'll get that figured out.My wife and I went and I had the gyro wrap while she had the chicken shawarma wrap. The gyro was fantastic. My wife liked her wrap enough that she returned there today (a couple of days later) to take her mom.On the first visit, both the husband and wife owners came to check on us, and brought a cup of lentil soup that I genuinely loved. (I had never had lentil soup before, but I'm a fan now.) When my wife returned today, they remembered how I loved the soup and sent her home with a free large container of it for me! Very thoughtful (and I'm enjoying right now).I love that there's a little bit of open space there. They didn't simply cram in as many tables as possible. Thanks to the excellent food and the thoughtful service by the business owners, I'm looking forward to our next visit. And the next.

This place is a hidden gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside but on the inside...PLENTY. Most importantly good food...VERY GOOD food and at a VERY REASONABLE price. Whether it's breakfast (served any time) lunch or dinner, they have something for anyone's taste. Just went in there and had their breakfast sandwich with goetta, ham & cheese on an English muffin. It was SOOOOO good. And Molly our waitress was superb. Very nice, very friendly and very accommodating. Inside, plenty of TVs to watch whatever floats your boat. A nice outdoor covered patio area is available anytime day or night. The decorations and especially the signs are very clever and witty AND will definitely put a smile on your face. They do have happy hours as well as a wide selection of beers. Hungry and Thirsty??? Swing on by PeeWee's Place. The "Place" to be!

Stopped in to check out this small pie shop in Kentucky and so glad we did ! They make homemade pies from scratch .The space is very compact , the counter is right in front of you filled with yummy pies , while behind the counter pies are being prepared .They make pies both for the public and also for several of Ramsey's Diner's located in the area. They even make quiches , pot pies and soups !We purchased a slice of good old fashioned apple and pecan pie to go .Both were outrageously delicious! The pies were not overly sweet , they had plenty of filling and the crust was nice and flaky . Sooooo good !

"Slim Chickens has quickly entered my list of go-to restaurants in our area. Couldn't be more delighted to have them in our area. The restaurant is clean, trendy, not overly loud (usually has a game on in the background) and fast. The chicken tenders are good, but their sauce selection gives them bonus points. I'm a fan of the Korean bbq, red chili, and the cayenne ranch. We also love that you can sub out their fries (which are still good) with fried pickles. Not to mention that our kids love their Mac n cheese. It's real pasta in a white cheese sauce. No cheese crust. I mean, I like cheese crust, but kids can be picky. And they won't break the bank either. A family of four can eat here for $30. These days, that's an amazing deal. This location also has an enclosed outdoor eating area if you're into the patio atmosphere."
"After reading my fellow yelpers reviews of this establishment we decided to eat breakfast here.Walking in all we saw were booths, I asked if we could get a chair on the side well, luckily there are tables with chairs in the back area, where you can't see them. We were greeted immediately by our wonderful waitress who got our drink order. Looking at the menu for breakfast there are a lot of great choices, we chose the platter that we are going to split, 2 blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries, 2 turkey bacon, (we have to substitute this out instead of the regular bacon and sausage) 2 sausage links and one egg over medium, 1 egg sunny side up and we added hash browns. The order didn't take long at all.Let me tell you ..the pancakes here are deeeeelicious! They have a homemade blueberry butter on the pancakes with strawberries...oh myyyyy. They were so fluffy and cooked perfectly.Everything tasted great.Would highly recommend-Will definitely come here again when in town."
"The PD SPECIAL and that Buffalo Chicken was so good highly recommended!! Workers in the area it's a must try!"
"Food is great, service is great! Point system/ rewards is dumb. If you buy one sandwich, you get 1 point, if you buy 3 sandwiches you get 1 point. If you make 4 separate orders you get 4 points."
"Well i found out about this place a year ago and this makes the 5th or 6th time getting pizza from here! And every time it doesn't disappoint.Their 16" deluxe pizza is amazing full of toppings and always taste amazing. Or favorite tho is the chicken bacon ranch pizza ! The service is good but they do get really busy at times and it could or can be a long wait! Been a few times they never answered the phone so wasn't sure if they were closed or just that busy. But in my opinion if I can't get a pizza on Friday I'll try Saturday because it's definitely worth it!! All n all their pizza is the best I've had around southern Ohio.I also hear their lunch specials are always good but haven't tried any yet! This is an old gas station and looks run down on the outside but they have a small seating area and always seem clean on the inside!! Of your around Peebles Oh stop n and try them out I don't think you'll be disappointed!"
"I live nearby, so I decided to take a walk to this location. Upon arrival, I walk up to the counter and at not time was I greeted by the several members of staff were just standing around. They actually walked away from the counter. Two posed as if they were cleaning, but never said a word. I finally asked was everyone going to clean or is someone going to take my order. The only young lady that was working was asked to stop what she was doing and take my order. Once she took my order, the rest of the staff came back to the counter to make the order. My first and last time going here. I'm not a fan of DD, but figured I'd give this one a try. It was that day I was reminded as to why Starbucks is always the better choice...customer service, quality, and presentation. A little advice: do better, train your staff on customer service, and how to treat all customers fairly!"
"Good pizza, I really like their hand tossed, flaky crust! Zesty Italian sauce and generous toppings complete this different from the norm pie. Great value too! Lucky locals"
"What a delight! We stopped in for dinner after seeing their sign a few days before. I ordered the falafel wrap combo and he ordered a beef shawarma wrap combo. Both wraps were as big as my forearm! The falafel was AMAZING, and I snagged a bite of the beef shawarma, and WOW! I don't normally enjoy beef, but I would consider ordering that for myself in the future! I experience amazing flavor, texture, and variety of the food. The fries that came with the combo were seasoned, freshly made, and delicious. Fountain drink options included Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Pink Lemonade, Fruit Punch, and Orange Crush. Water, sweet tea, and unsweet tea were also available. They had a huge case of canned/bottled beverages, too!The staff was efficient, professional, and courteous. Our food arrived quicker than expected, but no sacrifice was made to the quality. The dining area was clean and welcoming, and the parking lot was well maintained. We will be repeat customers, and I've already told 5 people to go visit this place."
"We were in town for a few days and we were looking for a place to watch college football and the UFC fights. Typically, BWW is our go-to since they are partnered with UFC. But I called 2 local locations: one didn't answer my calls and the other said they weren't showing the fights. When I called Stooges they said YES!!! So we hopped in an Uber and headed over. Our Uber driver said we'd have a good time and he's always heard great things about the place. He wasn't wrong! We walked in and immediately knew this was our kind of sports bar. It's laid back and chill and NOT pretentious at all! There are TVs throughout and they were extremely accommodating when we asked for our 2 football games to be put on. Our waitress was super friendly. It's definitely a "locals" place but no one made us felt like outsiders. The wings were delicious and we had lots leftover to eat for lunch the next day. We would definitely stop back in when we're in town again!!!"
"Karaoke is a lot of fun on Fridays & Saturdays! KJ Tammy is awesome! Their fried pickles are SO good and Kim (the bartender) is wonderful! Love this place!"
"Good local fare. Friendly staff and clean, safe environment. Lunch on a warm day is a treat."
"I recently ate at a new Cluckers restaurant. By the name you could conclude that they focus on chicken here, wings and strips. It has a sports bar feel with a family area and a large bar section. There were TV screens with various sports on throughout the place. They specialize in serving their chicken entrees in all kinds of flavours and degrees of heat. They also serve craft beer and offer daily specials. My sister and I split the 6 piece strips. I got mine plain and she got hers hot with sassy garlic. We opted for onion rings over the fries. Our server was friendly, attentive and explained all the flavor options to us. Our food arrived quickly and the strips were so large we ended up taking home the last two. The onion rings were okay, I prefer thinner crispier rings but my sister liked them a lot. The seasoning on her strips was more like a rub than a sauce. I tried a bite but they were too spicy for me. She loved the flavor. Even though mine were considered plain, they were light, crispy and had a nice country fried chicken taste. There are a lot more options to try on the menu so I'm sure we will go back. There are lots of burgers listed as well as a variety of non chicken entrées. The price was about $12 plus our drinks which is a pretty good value for the size of the strips we got. The restaurant was clean and they were playing oldie music which we both enjoyed. They are located in a strip mall with the family dollar and dollar tree with plenty of parking available."
"First time trying the diner. Was greeted by a very friendly staff. The diner was clean and the food came out hot and fast. We obviously ended up bringing over half our food home. The menu is priced perfectly."
"Welcome to the east end, Green District Salads! This local healthy quick meals concept just opened a new location and I'm happy to have this option so close to home. First impressions - The menu offers endless options for salads and grain (rice) bowls, and you can choose to make just about any menu option a wrap. I chose the classic "GD" (Green District) salad for my first time in, adding extra protein. It was terrific, fresh with lots of toppings, and a HUGE portion (I wonder if there is a half-salad option available?).Service was exceptional. The staff at lunch was friendly, informative, and happy to accommodate requests for a great experience. I took my salad to-go (they also have an order online and pickup option) but while I was there the interior of the restaurant is classy, open, and well kept.If you download the app ahead of time I hear you can get a few bucks off your first order and they have a loyalty program for future deals. I wasn't that prepared today but I'll make a note of it for next time. Overall - If you're looking for a quick, healthy, tasty meal in the east end (neighbors between Which-Wich and Joy Luck) give Green District Salad a try - and be prepared for leftovers!"
"When I heard a By Golly's was opening on Beechmont, I was rather stoked, because I really enjoyed their location in Milford and expected a similar great experience in this one. Maybe the staff is just too new because that's not necessarily what happened there. The food was just okay, the service was lacking, and even the atmosphere seemed incomplete. Honestly, I think they rushed to open before they were ready.I went with my work crew on a Thursday for lunch. It was a bit busy but not completely packed. The place itself was formerly Varsity and it looked like they'd just repainted everything white ane grey. I hate to say it, but it felt stale and boring, no personality unlike the original location. We were sat right away by a very friendly hostess. The menu was pretty much the same as the original location so I had an idea of what to expect. However, we sat for a good 20 minutes before anyone approached us for drinks, and I watched a few servers stand around the front by the host stand just talking non-stop so it's not like they were understaffed. Looking around, I could tell that everything was not ready to go, as they still had someone working on the iced tea maker. As for our food, we started with an order of pretzel bites while we were deciding on our main courses. It took another 20 minutes to put that order in and our drinks were empty because no one came for that either. Luckily, the pretzel bites didn't take that long, and overall were pretty good. As for our order, my coworkers both did a build your own burger, one with straight fries and one with waffle fries, while I had the buffalo chicken wrap with steamed broccoli. It must've taken 40 minutes for the whole order and they brought chips instead of fries for both my coworkers. They fixed that quickly though. Everything looked pretty good, but taste-wise, was just okay. Nothing too impressive, especially for Anderson Township, which is brimming with good lunch/dinner options. I was honestly a bit disappointed in the whole experience, especially the wait, but I understand that they just recently opened up. They might have needed to train their staff a bit more instead of rushing to open so fast. Maybe things will be better if I give it another shot later on but I almost don't want to give it another go. I don't EVER like to speak poorly of a local business but this place needs work in many ways. I really hope they're able to fix the flaws and become a better addition to the area. It shouldn't take an hour and a half to have a relatively simple lunch."
"Quaint little breakfast nook. Food was tasty and cold brew was strong. Service was friendly and helpful. Wish they didn't have cleaning supplies and trash can in view behind the counter and maybe some music playing. Minor issues compared to a great overall experience will definitely recommend this place."
"Solid salads (per my partner) and wraps. The first time I visited, I ordered the kickin' chile chicken wrap with extra green chile sauce and it's so good I've returned twice and ordered the same dang thing. I take my food to go every time and the ambience for eating in seems perfectly fine. The employees have been super friendly and every time they've asked me if I prefer extra sauce on the side or on the wrap, which is considerate. My only complaint is with the app. It's aggressive with the pop-ups and jumping around and a bit glitchy."
"We were in the area and stopped by to get something to eat. Very chill place, our service was excellent! we got table service, minus the drinks we picked up before sitting down. We ordered some nachos as an appetizer. They were delicious.I got the chorizo torta with fries. My friends got burritos. My torta was massive & decent.Bathrooms were clean. We also got dessert empanadas, we ordered the apple but also got a Nutella one per our server since we couldn't decide on which ones we wanted. Overall excellent service, food is good and price was decent."
