"Simply Thai is incredible! The vibe is very casual. Chill lo-fi beats in the bar area where we waited for takeout. The guy running the register was super helpful! He knew the ingredients of every dish and was able to help us meet our dietary needs.Highly recommended for gluten free, df, egg free, vegan! They can make everything on the menu (except for things that are fried and the yellow curry) gluten free!! As far as vegan, they will sub out proteins and use coconut milk to make any dish vegetarian or vegan!"
"I was told about this place by my coworkers at my job. This spot has anything from pasta, pizza, ice cream bar to expresso bar. It's essentially amazing. The servers are fast and they make their pasta dough in house so everything is extremely fresh. I tried the porcupine pizza and I loved it! It blew me away. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a craft pizza."

"I absolutely love Thai food so when I heard Time for Thai was the best in town, I had to try it.My husband and I stopped in after church on Sunday. It was around noon but there were already several tables occupied. The restaurant is a decent size but cozy and clean. We were seated immediately and the servers were super nice. I love tofu so we started out with the Golden Triangles app. This was the only disappointment. The tofu was fried well but was otherwise tasteless. For our entrees, my husband and I both chose the Pad Thai since it was our first time here. He had hot and I had medium. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. Y'all, it was so dang good! My shrimp was cooked perfectly and the veggies were nice and crunchy. The medium had a nice heat. I probably could have done hot but I always err on the side of caution when it comes to Thai food!Needless to say, we will be back!"
"We started going here when they opened. To our surprise 10 years after our first visit it is the exact same. The owner even remembered our names. You can't buy that anywhere. We treated ourselves to chicken rice soup and dumplings (both which are the go to starters) followed by Bangkok noodle, Thai angel, and a noodle bowl. The Bangkok is a sweet savory rice noodle bowl with vegetables. The Thai angel is a mild creamy coconut noodle dish, the noodle bowl was a ramen with savory Thai sauce with fried chicken. It was our sons first time with Thai and he it"
"Thai Noodles was a staple for our family when the pandemic was in full-swing. They had a drive-thru back then, but I don't think it's open anymore. Fortunately, the restaurant is still open. They have some of the best Thai food in Louisville. It's not a fancy spot. It's likely out of your way, but definitely worth the drive to Preston. It's one of those places that's good on a cold day, when you need sinus relief, it will pull you through a bout of COVID, it's perfect for anytime you need to eat your feelings. Tonight's order-Thai Red CurryRed curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoot, carrot, basil leaves, bell pepper and green bean.Pad ThaiStir-fried rice noodle with egg, bean sprout, scallion, your choice of meat and ground peanut. The portions are huge, but more than one dish feels necessary for achieving the right flavor combinations. The red curry is spicy, the pad Thai is nutty and sweet. Alternating bites is perfect, like dipping a French fry in your milkshake, or adding sea salt to your dark chocolate. I have other favorites depending on my needs. Chicken Ginger Rice Soup-Clear chicken broth with ground chicken, fresh ginger, rice and scallion. This is my favorite if my stomach is off or to grab for my toddlers. It's the only soup that's not spicy, but the broth is so flavorful. It's a win for everyone in our household.Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle)Stir-fried flat rice noodle with egg, basil leaves, broccoli, carrot, tomato, onion, bamboo shoot, your choice of meat in a basil sauce. This one is solid. If you aren't in the mood for peanut flavor, this would be my next noodle choice. Mild will still have a bit of kick, but you can get it as spicy as you dare.Pineapple Fried RiceStir-fried rice with chicken and shrimp, egg, cashew nut, onion, raisin and turmeric powder. This one should be at the top of your list. Pick your spice level. This one is a winner. If I hadn't been in the mood for curry, this would've been my next choice. The question isn't should you try Thai Noodles. You should. It's authentic. It's affordable. The service is friendly. This business is definitely worth patronizing. Maybe the question is, how many tries will it take you to find the salt to your chocolate? The shake to your fry? If you end up with leftovers, there are worse things. But, I bet you don't."
"Taste 10/10 - Chicken Pad Thai. Although the medium spice level was a bit hotter than mediums I've ordered elsewhereFriendliness 15/10 - Owner (?) is a wonderful and welcoming, and offered my toddler a full sized Thai chocolate bar after assuring she had no allergiesPrice 8/10 - Portion somewhat small for the priceI'll definitely make a return trip with my husband to try other enticing menu items!"
"Everything is good. Both fish dishes were good. The red curry fish was my all time favorite so far. Look forward to coming back in the future."
"The best Thai food we have had in Lexington. Most places seem to make their curry in the sweeter side and it loses the punch of flavor Thai curry should have, but planet Thai keeps that and has an excellent spice level. The service is excellent, prices are good, and portion sizes are also excellent."
"This restaurant has been popular in Oldham county for some time now, and I can certainly see why! Every dish is carefully crafted, seriously, bringing a taste of Thailand to our old Kentucky home. Recently, I went with a friend and I ordered the Pad Kee Mow. Their spice level ranges from 1 to 4, and having been to other Thai restaurants in Louisville, I asked for a level 2. My waitress tried to talk me out of it, suggesting I do a level 1. I told her I eat spicy stuff all the time, and then I'm from Southern California so heat of no issue to me.Y'all, I cannot stress this enough. If the waitress suggests a heat level different than what you were trying to order, heed, that advice. My plate of noodles came out, and they looked scrumptious, and the waitress told me , "Welcome to Thailand" The noodles were delicious, but my God they were spicy as hell. My mind was willing, but my body (specifically my GI) was weak. I ate about half the dish and I took the rest home for my husband who loved it! The chicken skewers, and the fried tofu are also fantastic, I cannot recommend those enough!"
"Eggrolls and mango salmon are so delicious! The fried rice was really good especially with the mango sauce from the salmon! Get everything a spice level 2, perfect amount of spice but not spicy!"
"I am clearly a creature of habit, a year to the day, I walked into Thai Smile and had Pad Kee Mow 2 at the level of spicy!Amazing perfectly cooked noodles, great thin sliced chicken, well cooked veggies. You now order at the counter and they will bring your food to you, to go or eat in.I ate in today and it was great. I seated myself at a small table and my food was out in minutes. If you need anything you can check at the counter and they will get you what you need.I will be back! I need some Basil Chicken."
"This is pho king amazing. I've been in the market for a favorite pho place for a while now. This is it. The portions are very generous and the broth is divine. Ingredients were fresh. I asked for extra basil and got a giant handful. Family run by friendly, helpful people."

We went to simply tie the first time this week and I'm gonna say that I enjoyed myself. We got the chicken and rice and vegetable combination. For my meal and it was really tasty. I enjoyed the sauce they have in it. My wife came inside a pineapple which she thought was awesome and the service was nice and quick and the ambience was nice.

Time 4 Thai is a great restaurant to eat at! The service is quick and professional. The interior is decorated with lots of art, live plants, and gold platters. The meals are reasonably priced and delicious. I ordered the Pad Thai with medium spice and Thai wings as an appetizer. The wings were hot, crispy and juicy. The medium spice Pad Thai was perfect. If you are ever in Louisville check them out!

With a craving for Thai food & looking for a place for dinner for 4 last weekend, my sister and I remembered Planet Thai from growing up in Lexington and loving it. Though we hadn't been in a couple (or 15) years, we decided to give it a try!We got there on a Saturday night around 6:30, and there were definitely tables available...but it was quite a wait to be greeted and seated by the host. Once we were seated however, our waitress was very attentive and quick with taking our drink and food orders and checking in on us throughout the meal. We started out with the appetizer sampler which had a good variety of things to try! My favorite was the veggie spring rolls. My sister and our husbands all ordered the Pad Thai at varying levels of spice. I went with the spicy eggplant dish that had red curry paste, eggplant, bell peppers, onions, and basil leaves with tofu on a level 4 spice. It was good, but a little greasy. The portions are large and would be easily split for 2 people or good for taking home leftovers. I noticed lots of people stopping in to pick up carry out orders. One thing I would note is that Planet Thai is in need of some decor updating. Its not a fancy place, but some new carpeting, a fresh coat of paint, and new seating would go a long way in freshening up the interior.

"O.M.G....I have found the authentic Thai restaurant in Kentucky -- Nat's is it!!Nat's is a very unassuming lil takeout only restaurant tucked into the side of McCarthy's Irish Bar and shares a front entrance with an Irish gift shop. It sounds odd, but totally worked! My friend and I walked up one afternoon, ordered food inside the restaurant, was told by the owner to "go next door, order a drink and he will bring the food over". We went to McCarthy's, ordered a couple of Pepsi and sat in the cutest nook by the window. Our orders arrived soon: Kobe beef grapao, shrimp salad. Wow! The flavors are sharp, distinct and intense, like Thai flavors are supposed to be. I would say the grapao's spice level is about medium for me. The salad was so spicy that I couldn't finish it. If you have the tendency to want "Thai Hot" in your dishes, this is the place that can serve it up! If you look at the photos poated by other Yelpers, you'll see many other special menu items not found at any other local Thai places. i cannot wait to come back for them!Btw, there is also a nice courtyard next door w available seating during warmer months."
"The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy issues. They identified everything that could cause me problems, and modified the Pad Thai sauce to be allergy free for me. It was incredible tasting, and so kind of them to go to so much trouble. Highly recommend!!!!"
"I've been wanting to try Mai's Thai pretty much ever since moving to Southern Indiana four years ago and finally decided to go for it today. I had heard rave reviews from people in various social media groups so maybe my expectations were a little higher due to that. I ordered the Pad Prik (beef) and a side salad. The total was $22.25. For one meal. These are prices I would expect to pay when ordering through a food delivery service, not for pick up from a small business. Taste and flavor were good, but nothing spectacular and not spicy at all, even though the description stated it was in a spicy sauce. The salad dressing container was barely half full. Overall, a three as others seem to absolutely love it but I seriously doubt I will eat there again."
"Some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life! Before this, I had only tried Thai maybe one other time. My husband was really wanting to get some tonight so I agreed to try it again and I'm so glad I did.I got the pad Thai with chicken & shrimp. Ahhhhh-mazzzzing!The egg rolls are also delicious! We called ahead and our order was ready when they'd said it would be.Also very affordable we felt like.Thumbs up!"

"Listen, Pho is one of my favorite dishes. It's an easy comfort food that is basically impossible to screw up. It's broth, noodles, and a protein. This is probably where you think I'm going to say "this place sucked" or "I had the worst diarrhea". Well my friend, you'd be wrong. The pho was pretty solid. The noodles were a bit skinnier than I'm used to, it it tasted just the same.My wife got some dish I can't pronounce or spell, but it was good, too. My favorite thing we order was the appetizer sampler plate. Crab rangoon, chicken on a stick, spring rolls, and shrimp toast. I didn't even know what shrimp toast was, but I really enjoyed it.This place isn't classy by any means, but the food is good and I would gladly go back."
"They use fresh wide rice noodles instead of rehydrated dry noodles! This is a first in Louisville, I can attest to this because I've looked everywhere. It is more chewy, bouncy and smoother than dried noodles. It is very similar to the Chow fun noodles in dim sum places. So, of course, I loved my pad see ew with beef and gai lan. It is sweet salty w a choice of spice levels. I appreciate places that are willing to offer "Thai Hot" on their spice scale. I got medium so that I can further personalize it with the condiments set brought to the table. The Hainan Chicken I brought home was also yummy. That sauce is awesome.Service was friendly and very efficient. I would definitely come back for the other authentic offerings."
"Lunch at Mai Thai today. Sat on the cute little patio under the shade of the tree. Ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. Awesome. Server was exceptional, very friendly. Perfect day. Perfect lunch.79"
"Really good. My understanding is that the owner is related to the people who own Siam House, which is my fave B-town Thai restaurant. I have had lunch here many times since I work downtown. The satay, the Thai dumplings, and the egg rolls are wonderful. I am eager to try more dishes. I am intrigued by the pad Thai wrapped in egg, planning to order it soon. Have only done take-out since it's been a pandemic since they opened, and their indoor dining space is tiny. They do get super busy during the lunch hour, so be aware it may take some time, but well worth it."
"Love this place. Used to go often when I went to school in Bowling Green, but made a stop in after many years and it's still just as tasty as I remember. Also loved seeing the paper straws"
"This Thai restaurant is within walking distance from Memorial Coliseum and serves authentic and tasty cuisine. We arrived around 6:40p on. Friday night. Even though they normally seat and serve immediately, there was a shortage of staff this night. We had to wait a good while before we were seated. Then, there was additional 10 min wait before we were served water or asked about drinks. However, once our order was taken, the food came really quickly and was piping hot. The vegetarian eggroll, filled with cabbage and carrots, was fresh and fried crispy. The outer portion was not too thick or hard, which is just the way that I prefer my egg rolls. Any much perusing of the menu, I chose the basil chicken with a "hot" spicy level. I also ordered a Thai Ice tea, which comes with cream. The cream helps to neutralize the spicy food. So that you can actually taste the flavors without you mouth being "on fire" from the spiciness. I really enjoyed my dining experience. I realize that our extra wait was because the restaurant was severely understaffed that night. I would love to try other dishes on future visits to Lexington."
"Our server as the best! He not only explained menu options, he also told us about the area. Our server also made our Thai sweet tea, and although it was sweeter than I like, it helped soften the spiciness of the meal. I went with level 2 spice and it was perfect for me. Not crowded and a comfortable dining area makes this one of the best places to eat in Owensboro!"
"Taste of Thai - A Hidden GemLooking for a hidden gem that serves up a culinary masterpiece? Look no further than Taste of Thai! This cozy spot near the university is an absolute treasure trove for food lovers. The highlight of my visit? Their Pad Thai - it's so incredible, it should come with a warning: "May cause uncontrollable cravings!" Each bite is a perfect symphony of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, with just the right crunch from the peanuts. It's like a party in your mouth, and everyone's invited! The portion sizes here are fantastic, and the pricing is just right. You get a generous serving that leaves you feeling full and happy without breaking the bank. In a nutshell, Taste of Thai is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out - your taste buds will thank you!"
"Love kanpai and will continue to. When I tell people about it, they give mixed responses. Personally, I've never had a bad experience there. It's always delicious and filling and I am always craving it.I get beef fried rice, spicy tuna, and an order of egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Wonderful, if you try this order leave a review!"
"When you enter the restaurant, you can hardly believe it is where the old Brick Oven and Peruvian restaurants were. They have done a beautiful job in absolutely transforming the interior. I truly could not believe I was in the same place. It has such a different, cool vibe to it now. Great ambiance.I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and my wife went with the Avocado Green Curry, both agreeing to share. I will start out with the latter by saying it may have been the best eggplant I've ever eaten. It was so tender, and it takes in all the flavors of everything else in the dish, so you have a mix of coconut milk, avocado, and bell peppers mixed in with the eggplant that is a taste sensation. I strongly recommend this dish. The Chicken Pad Thai, to be honest, was a disappointment. It lacked the flavor you expect from the traditional Thai dish, and the chicken was stiff, dry, and incredibly bland. It was so much so that I didn't finish it, and felt kinda down after eating some of it knowing that I made the wrong decision. But, to be frank, if you're running a Thai restaurant, you've got to come through big with the Pad Thai. Maybe that's an unfair statement, but it doesn't make it any less true. So, I'd recommend the place, and I'll be back. But I'll also recommend to you that you don't get drawn into the ole Thai standby. You'll be disappointed if you do."
"Ate here today for the first time, and it won't be the last! I had the Pad Thai, and my husband had the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), both with chicken. We also ordered a couple spring rolls. Everything arrived quickly, and was hot, fresh, and delicious! The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and inviting. We did have to wait a bit for drink refills, but other than that, the service was excellent! Highly recommend!"
"Ordered takeout @ Bahn Thai and M by my workplace and it was really really tasty. Located in Holiday Manor shopping center, Bahn Thai and M is one of the many prime eateries in the area. Ordering was super convenient and quick. If you're a Thai lover this place will definitely hit the spot. I chose the sampler platter which consisted of 2 chicken spring rolls, 2 pork dumplings, 2 chicken satay skewers and three sauces which were sweet chili sauce, chili soy sauce and peanut sauce. The best part...only $12!!!!! I shared it with a coworker. All three items were amazing. The sauces were delish. I seriously could've licked the peanut sauce off my plate. I will definitely go back."
"Nice meal in downtown Lexington while walking around before a concert Friendly service food & drinks came out right awayLoved my drunken noodles and spice level medium was just right Friend enjoyed the mango pad ThaiThanks for great meal"
"Great service. Family place. Spring rolls were amazing. Wonton soup was loaded with veggies and wontons. Just about a meal by itself. My wife had Shrimp Pad Thai. She loved it. Ordered it without spicy. I had chicken and veggies. This came loaded with both chicken and veggies. Also had it with brown rice. Food was piping hot with a ton of steam coming from it. Fresh and clean. Have to try this place. It was awesome."
"Delicious! The dish arrived with a tantalizing aroma of freshly minced garlic. Each tender chicken piece was coated in a fragrant garlic sauce that struck the perfect balance. Cozy atmosphere and terrific service. I'll be back!"
