"Pros: a lot of unique options. Not your traditional fair. The latte is probably the best item on the menu. A little spicy for those who are sensitive to heat. The Crown jewel which is macaroni and cheese and lobster was delicious but a little on the heavy side.Cons: the wait staff here, including bartenders are absolutely horrendous. A few weeks ago, we sat at the bar and the bartender literally acted like we were bothering her. We went this past weekend with friends, and our waiter was awful. We had to get his attention to order a second round of drinks and when we were finished and he asked us if we were all set, we said yes, and he just walked away. Rather than clearing the plates from our table, we sat with dirty dishes in front of our table until we flagged him down again to ask for our checks. Waiting at least 10 minutes to pay our bills. We ended up walking to the bar to pay them ourselves because he never came back to take our credit cards. We were a small group of 4. I can't imagine how long it would take to get anything with a larger group. If you don't mind terrible service, the food is pretty good."
"Came for late dinner Friday night. There were a lot of people waiting for seats by the door but since I was by myself got a seat at the bar immediately. Got the mojo shrimp plate, it was good, not amazing. The bar didn't have that much choice for non-alcoholic drinks besides soda and jarritos. I asked if they had a chicha morada (peruvian purple corn drink) and the server has never heard of it. I've had better peruvian food in other cities, this is ok. Service was good and food arrived fast."

"Told the cashier it was our first time and he gave us recommendations along with a choice of free quac or queso. We chose queso. Very good but I loved the salsa best. Cashier recommended Birria and Baja Fish tacos which I got along with Vaca Frita. My friend got shrimp taco and bourbon taco. Everything was delicious and portions were HUGE. We only managed to eat one full taco and took bites of the others. My friend's favorite was the Birria which didn't have enough spice for me but was tasty. Vaca Frita and both seafood tacos had some kick. I loved the Vaca Frita but wished I'd gotten the bourbon taco as well which tasted like barbecue and had corn and cojita cheese. Staff was very friendly and great. I don't usually tip when I order counter service but I did here. Place was clean and patio looked nice but a little too warm out when we went."
"Didn't know what to expect. I call it eclectic Mexican. Tacos galore along with burritos and quesadillas. They are not traditional. They have many twists in them. Lots of sauces and creams. You can even get a burger here. Great specials each night food and drinks. Free arcade games in the back, but didn't have time to play."
"What an epic meal in every sense of the word!!!! The food, the service, the ambiance!!!Emily is a gem of a server, and the food was absolutely fantastic! So glad we were all in town for a conference to come here!"
"Going by my fellow yelpers reviews we stopped in here for lunch. We walked in and were immediately seated. The waitress brought us a carafe of iced water to our table but no salsa and chips. You have to buy the salsa and chips separately. We ordered the mango salsa (spicy hot but, oh the flavor)The red roasted salsa (delicious, bold flavor) Also ordered the cheese dip, ohhhhhh myyyyyyy, get the cheese dip!!! It's the best cheese dip I think I've ever had, deliciously addicting.Ordered the chicken fajitas. Again...ohhhhh myyyy. The chicken was thick, tender, well seasoned pieces with onions and hint of lime. Delicious. I took a picture of it but for some reason it won't upload to this platform. Highly, highly recommend this establishment!! Everything is great!!Get the cheese dip. Did I say get the cheese dip........yes, yes I did."
"Good tacos and LOTS of sauces to choose from. There was plenty of time to do template sauces because it took a bit for our food to come out. Friendly staff, though there wasn't always someone behind the counter to greet customers and take orders, which made things confusing for while. Servers were walking around and filling drink orders to take to tables, so again, confusing. The guy who did take our order was extremely chipper and energetic. We went during summer and it was hot outside. The outside patio, which is mostly shaded, still had a lot of lunching customers, but we chose one of the sunny bar style seats and the front of the house. The restaurant is a converted house, by the way. There was darke, quieter seating in the back, which you walk through on your way to the restroom."
"Just had lunch there this past Thursday with a client. The steak tacos and the mushrooms are absolutely amazing!!Highly recommend!"
"Tried Taco City located in the Highland across the street from the shopping center were The Comedy Caravan sits in. Handsome outdoor area in front of the restaurant that is large with colorful chairs. Indoors is small with little seating provided. We ordered a variety of tacos after the staff explained how small they were and ordered a cherry lemonade and grapefruit soda. Taco were fresh but not much taste to them. On a 10 point scale, we both gave him a 7. The drinks were the big surprise and rated them a perfect 10. Will try it again and try the Burrito's and more soda please!"
"One of my favorite all time local taco eateries! I've been coming here since pre-Covid and finally had an opportunity to slow down and dine in. 100% worth it! The tacos are authentic, savory, and mouth watering. I have not had a bad taco from here and I'm also obsessed with the cheese quesadilla. There are cheese quesadillas and there are CHEEEEEESSSEEE quesadillas! This is certainly one of the best quesadillas and is a meal in it self. The staff is always accommodating and aims to please. The restaurant is fun with plenty of vibrant colors. Again, just one of the best authentic taco spots, hands down. Highly recommended!"
"Order at the counter and find a seat- the place was hoping on Saturday at 6pm. Service was quick to the table and the condiments deserve a shout- out for being fresh, clean and tasty!Recommend the Al pastor tacos, the campechanos were a tad dry but brought back to life by the salsa and fixings.Give them a try!"
"This place is really cool, tacos are delicious and nothing tastes better once you've been out all night than a few delicious tacos from this place."

Great restaurant in downtown Lexington. The food is fresh and flavorful. A standout entree was the special of the night "Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas with an elote topping". The Smoked Pork tacos were a bit too spicy for me but loved the queso, guacamole, and mojitos. The crab empanadas were spicy and messy. Our last visit the hostess took her job very seriously and had us wait outside to not crowd the bar with our friends

McKenna gave amazing service!! I love the out of the box taco concepts at agave and rye. Today was my first time trying the crown jewel. A taco with Mac and cheese, lobster, mushroom and truffle oil definitely chefs kiss. This restaurant is super colorful, fun atmosphere. Music was great!

I was in Bloomington this weekend and went here for a late lunch. The place was not full at all when we arrived at noon. It is big inside, open area with tons of seats. Our waiter was great and went through some of the items on the menu. We had the tacos, pork belly and ahi tuna. Both were decently portioned, filled me up, and tasted great. I would highly recommend trying this place out.

Pricy but good value as they aren't dinky tacos and the quality is superb. The carnitas are my favorite and must try I particularly enjoy the pickled onions on top ask for extra on the side. We enjoy sitting outside on a nice day with Friends while enjoying any number of frozen cocktails. The service is always fast and polite, the restrooms are always clean.. great job guys!!!

"Can't beat the $2.50 taco Tuesday options! I went with the ground beef one from that menu plus a cod taco and water to drink. Both tacos were appropriately filled and delish! Parking availability was limited even arriving at 11:30. They definitely draw a lunch crowd at least on Tuesdays!"
"We attended a holiday party at this location. The atmosphere was impressive! There were sooo many games. Everyone should find something entertaining! Our service and food was average but the bourbon slush was amazing! Skeeball made it all perfect too!"
"The food was incredible! We ordered takeout online so I didn't get to see the inside but husband said it was casual and quiet when he went to pick up the order. Our order was ready quickly and we were happy with the convenience! We ordered the Bollywood Tacos, the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan, and an order of the samosas. The samosas were awesome and came with a delicious sauce! The Bollywood tacos were huge! And we loved the avocado sauce that came with them! The butter chicken was good but we were pretty full from the other food and saved most of it for leftovers. We will definitely come again!"
"Pretty good fried chicken! They have a choice of drumsticks, tenders or wings. Meals come with your choice of rice or pickled beets. I got the spicy garlic wings. They had a little kick but not near as spicy as I was expecting. I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for spice so don't let me be the judge of that lol but I will go for the hottest they have next time. Service was friendly & fast. You order at the counter, get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. When you're finished you throw away your things & set your tray on the trash can. Place is spacious & has three different areas for seating. Cool, casual & comfortable. Glad we stopped in. Oh, we liked their onion rings & the pickled beets. The pickled beets had a coleslaw style flavor. My mom & I were pleasantly surprised. So light & refreshing. If you're fan of boba & sweets they have plenty of options to choose from."
"There is nothing better when it comes to food on a Tuesday like tacos and on this particular Tuesday I decided to take a trip to Downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana and check out the brand new Ramiro's Cantina Express, a brand New Mexican establishment in the heart of one of Indiana's historic stops along the Ohio River. While Ramiro's may be new to Indiana, they have been around in Louisville for quite some time and decided to make the move here to Indiana in hopes of providing some Mexican food to the Downtown Jeffersonville area. The decor in Ramiro's provides a very relaxing vibe from traditional tables and chair to some very chic couches and chairs that allow you to come, grab some food and read a book or finish up whatever project you may be working on via your laptop. The food here is the real star of the show because every day is a special such as Tuesday's being $3 non-premium tacos such as chicken, steak or ground beef but for $2 more you can get a premium taco such as brisket and more. The tacos are all on a flour tortilla and I'm not sure if corn tortillas are an option (I didn't ask) but they have a lot to offer when it comes to the various toppings you can choose from. Ramiro's also offers quest and chips, elotes and also various alcoholic beverages from margaritas and more. I absolutely recommend stopping by here as they are spot on when it comes to the food and the service is very quick and easy. The owner is super friendly and has plans for a patio so that guests can enjoy their meal on a beautiful day. If you're ever in Southern Indiana or happen to be across the way in Louisville do yourself a favor and be sure to stop by for some very filling Mexican food."
"The rice and beans were a little salty but still good! The chimichanga was HUGE and so good! I could barely finish the meal! The service was fast and pleasant! I'd definitely return to try the tacos and other menu items. I took my meal to go but the short time I was inside the establishment it appeared to be nicely decorated with a good vibe!"
"We knew were in a good restaurant when our friendly server, Jamie, greeted us. I chose the restaurant because of its extensive and varied menu at Jamie was helpful in making suggestions and answering questions. The food was delicious."
"I'm not joking when I say this is the best burger in the city. They are always SO juicy but not sloppy. They season them very well and the toppings/bun are premium and fresh. Cooked to medium every time. Highly recommend the All American and the Grippos burger! They have sweet potato waffle fries and "crunchy coating" type fries that are always fresh and very crispy. They also season these very well with salt. There is an extensive liquor and beer selection and their cocktail menu is pretty good! On top of it all, the service is fantastic and I like the atmosphere! A little bit of an interesting choice with the slight country theme mixed with upscale, but it oddly works. Overall give this restaurant a 9.5/10 and it's a must try if you're downtown for a show or game!"
"We stopped to eat a late dinner at this location of Los Aztecas. Even though it was late the service was good and the food was good too. I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken. There was a crazy amount of chicken in the salad, which I enjoyed and had plenty for lunch the next day. The only thing I would say is that there was a lot of extra liquid on the plate from the chicken that soaked through the flour shell but the sides of the shell were nice and crispy."
"I came in here on a Sunday afternoon. It was empty. The interior is pretty. My server was wonderful and attentive. The bourbon drink was good. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich. It was a large portion and delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend others to dine here."
"My husband and I decided to give this place a try because we were on this side of town. It was so busy we sat at the bar but the service was amazing and we even had the owner taking our order. It's a little loud in here but I gave 5 stars on the mole all on its own. My husband had the beef chimichanga but no picture happened since all thoughts left my brain after trying that mole. The owner said his mother makes it for him and it's the best I've ever had. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory with a hint of spice. I also happily downed my surprisingly strong margarita!"
"Looking for AUTHENTIC? Look no further! Today was my second time visiting, and last visit did not disappoint either! Today I ordered Supremo Nachos (marinated pork) and a pork tamale! Absolutely incredible, it's Easter, I have to work, and I was craving pork and home cooked Mexican Food. Well, needless to say I found my place, and I can't stress enough, you GET what you pay for!!! Delicious, and great service! Kind workers!"
"I am so very excited that I Love Tacos opened a second location down the street from me! We went to the new location last night for dinner and the staff was gracious, helpful, kind. I really enjoyed my peach swirl margarita, and the table thought the fresh guacamole and chips were the perfect starter. Food was on point. This was my first time trying birria tacos! Messy, but delicious. If you have yet to try this food trend Louisville, now is your chance. One area I see for improvement is the dining area was so open in the old Tumbleweed building, they hadn't done much to create areas of dining space and that left the ambiance feeling like a noisy cafeteria hall. Not my favorite. I hear they are planning on live music so perhaps that's why they left everything so open? Even still, it would be great to see more investment in the interior like they have in J-town so it makes for a more intimate setting."
"Taquero Mucho is a Mexican eatery located in a small shopping center just off outer loop right near the okolona/highview borderline of Louisville Kentucky. Very small and tiny space but they do have some limited indoor seating here. I stopped in here for lunch with my 14 year old and 2 year old after grabbing the oldest from her school. We wanted Mexican and was heading to our usual spot across the street from this place when we noticed a new place and decided to give it a shot. Our service here was very good. Our waitress was very nice and Accommodating and kept our glasses full. Like most Mexican establishments you do receive complementary chips and salsa. However instead of a salsa you get a bean dip type dish here. The establishment did have bottled salsa as well but the main dish/bowl was a bean dip. The chips and bean dip were actually really good. I was mildly skeptical as I'm a big salsa guy but it was a cool and unique take on a normal Mexican eatery staple. For our entrees I personally went with the Chicken burrito covered with queso. My oldest went with a couple steak tacos and the two year old got a kids cheese sticks. My burrito was solid. Pretty standard tasting burrito. The queso wasn't the greatest. Nice and thick but kinda had a plain Jane flavor to it. My oldest enjoyed her steak tacos and said they were good. The kids cheese sticks was actually quite a bit of substance and the two year old happily devoured them. So not complaints from her. Overall cool little eatery. I'm always down to try and explore New Mexican restaurant. So it is nice to see one pop up on the nearby area. The bean dip and chips is a unique touch and makes them stand out and memorable. Food is solid to average from our experience. Worth checking out if you are in the area and enjoy Mexican food."
"This place is awesome....It is your typical Mexican restaurant but the service was awesome, food was good, and it was a great value. There are so many Mexican restaurants it gets hard to tell them apart but I really liked this place - the decor was unique. The service was good. I had the lunch fajitas and I was blown away - they were delicious and there was a lot of meat. They were prepared with care and the waitress made sure I had everything I needed. It was an AWESOME lunch time experience."
"Enilio's taqueria is a Mexican eatery in the okolona portion of Lousiville Kentucky tucked away in the back corner of silver heights shopping center off blue lick road. Former location of blue lick chicken and more and I believe I heard the worker say it actually the same owners. You walk inside and you order at a counter and take your seat in the dining area. Two things that stood out to me immediately is they don't have fountains sodas just bottles. Which eating spicy Mexican good one usually wants the ability to have free refills (blue lick chicken and more had same setup with no fountain sodas and to me it was the biggest knock on them). The second. Thing that stood out was no complimentary chips and salsa. That's a bummer for me on Mexican eateries. Free Chips and salsa is part of the big experience for me personally when eating authentic Mexican food . Me personally I went with a chicken quesadilla. Very large in size and stuffed with chicken. Very good flavor on the chicken (maybe they Carried over the chicken skills from the previous tenant). My only knock is they don't or didn't at this time have just a regular red salsa. The only red salsa they had was spicy and it packed a punch which to me took away some of the great at flavor of the quesadilla. My wife got the Mexican street corn and it was some of the best she has had. She also got a burrito plate and gave it a two thumbs up. Overall we were very satisfied with our food and service. The gentleman helping us was very nice and prompt. Good came out blazing fast and warm. Being a brand spanking new place it naturally has some kinks to work out. For me personally this place is an easy five star if it offers fountain drinks and mild salsa. Free chips and salsa would make it a place I add to the frequent rotation."
"I wanted to like this place cuz I love street tacos, but after two visits, I'm at 2 stars. Honestly I'd try any random Lexington taco truck before I went back here.Pricing is very fair at 4 or 5 tacos for $10. And they have a decent selection of meats and taco types. But the flavors are just ok, and some of the meats were very salty. Felt like an average, fast-food version of authentic Mexican food.Service was friendly but awkard. The windows are staffed by college girls who don't know much about the food. Not terrible, but Lexington has better spots.Update: all three people who shared in this meal last night have significant stomach problems today!"
"Geeeez! I've never had Arepa better than these! If you don't try these, you hate food. It's delicious"
"So much more to choose from this place is not hidden gem it's the go to place if you come this way!!! My wife went with the smothered burrito it looks so huge. While I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak. There is so much to choose from and we haven't even gotten our awesome desserts yet. This is a Military friendly location!!!"
"I love, love, love Pili's Party Taco. After living in DC for a summer, I'm always on the search for a good street taco. I think Pili's is one of the most authentic places for tacos or Mexican food in Bloomington.Pili's Party Taco has a selection of tacos, tacos gringos (street tacos with American toppings such as lettuce, tomato, sour cream, etc), and a selection of Mexican food that is ever changing like tamales, street corn, etc. My usual order is two to three al pastor tacos and a horchata. I love their al pastor because they roast the pork on a spit and you can see the pork roasting behind the staff. They also have three homemade salsas: mild, medium, and hot that you can put on top of your tacos.Even though that's my normal order, I've had many of their other food, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried. The staff are super nice and are hardworking individuals who truly enjoy making us happy with their food. Highly recommend Pili's if anyone sees their truck (usually outside the Bishop)!"
"I am obsessed with this place. I have never had lengua near as good. Every single thing I have eaten is amazing. Highly recommend going to try and one of each taco"
"A newcomer to the Fern Creek area. This food truck doesn't serve burritos but does serve some amazing tasting tacos. Like most food trucks, the tacos use two small tortillas. Price per taco is $2. I think most people were ordering 2-3 tacos. I did order some tacos but also ordered a chicken quesadilla for $5. Quesadilla- rip off. SO small and nothing great about it. Go for the tacos. The food truck is located at the Valero Gas station and has couple small tables ( 4 chairs each I think) but most like me were ordering to go. There's another food truck that serves tacos and burritos maybe 10 minutes just down bardstown road but the tacos here I think were better. But maybe it was just because I was so hungry at 11pm on a Sunday. I'll have to go and taste some more of their tacos another time just to make sure I really did like them that much."
"This is the first time we have been to this restaurant. The nostalgia of it being the former post office is absolutely beautiful. They have kept most of the wood on the floors ceilings and walls as they possibly could, even the old iron bars that separated customers from the post office workers were still intact. We were greeted almost immediately upon entry. They had very friendly staff and the restaurant was very clean. All of the staff was wearing masks and the kitchen crew were all wearing masks, head coverings and gloves. The menu was incredible. They do have a lot of Italian dishes available including Pizza and pasta dishes. We were there at lunch time so we ordered from the sandwich side of the menu. Considering myself a tenderloin connoisseur I ordered the hand breaded tenderloin. I'm not even sure how to describe it other than remarkable, thick and hand breaded, fried to a perfect gold color and exact crispiness, and served on a toasted bun, with toppings of your choice. The french fries that accompanied it were also crispy and large l, hot and perfect. My husband ordered a fried chicken wrap in a spinach tortilla with fresh vegetables. The wrap was perfect. It was stuffed full of fried chicken pieces and all the toppings. The vegetables were grilled perfectly and he said they were very tasty. We will definitely bring friends back with us the next time we come and make this a day trip just to visit the Post restaurant. Absolutely wonderful!!!"
