"During my last visit to Dragon King's Daughter I ordered the stuffed Wontons, the Pork Steamed Buns and two sushi rolls. The Bao Buns were amazingly delicious! The stuffed Wontons were extremely scrumptious as well. Unfortunately the sushi (which should have been the star) fell flat. The "Sushi & The Banshees" roll was okay. Sadly the "My Neighbor Toto Toro" roll was rather lackluster. I had my friends give it a try as well and none of us were impressed. Overall I would say that the appetizers were so much better than the sushi itself which was a bit disappointing. The service was great, the drinks were as well and the atmosphere was welcoming, modern and warm."
"Simply Thai is incredible! The vibe is very casual. Chill lo-fi beats in the bar area where we waited for takeout. The guy running the register was super helpful! He knew the ingredients of every dish and was able to help us meet our dietary needs.Highly recommended for gluten free, df, egg free, vegan! They can make everything on the menu (except for things that are fried and the yellow curry) gluten free!! As far as vegan, they will sub out proteins and use coconut milk to make any dish vegetarian or vegan!"

"We stopped in for dinner tonight and were impressed by how quickly we were served. The food was delicious and our server extremely knowledgeable. Perfect spot for date night or a family dinner."
"This place is absolutely outstanding. First the motif is horse racing which totally fits in Lexington. It's just a classic old school steakhouse in many ways. The food is absolutely scrumptious. The crab cakes were some of the best I have ever had. Mostly crab and not filler. I also had the Bourbon Fillet for my main course. I am not usually a fillet fan but this came with shrimp and grits as well. Just an amazing piece of meet and the shrimp and grits were the bomb. Amazing. Service was pretty good but could have been better. Our meal was delayed somewhat and we had to ask the waitress about it. In a place this expensive where you pay $80 or more for a steak, you shouldn't have to ask. They should come to you. Still service was better than most places so it isn't affecting my stars. Finally - the Old Fashioned they serve is ridiculously sweet. They told me it was sweet. It was so sweet and strong I couldn't drink it. The server took it back and brought me a Manhattan instead which was much better. But this is a matter of taste. Just letting readers know in case they are interested."
"Our neighborhood Sushi bar is the bees!!We do miss the sushi bsr being open. Since Covid, togo is the highest rate its ever been and the sushi bar is gone. The sushi is felicious and their daily deals are a steal! For someone short with extra love on their bottom like me, sitting at the sushi bar was more comfortable than the tiny but tall uncomfortable chairs and higher tables."
"This is more of carry out review. The quality, the portion of meat to rice in the rolls, the sashimi cuts and nigiri are generous but most importantly the freshest and best cured sushi in Louisville area. I am almost confident that I tried most of the sushi spots in town, from the cheapest buffet to the steakhouse rolls, and this one stood to me. What I am saying is, trust me bro! Quick service and causal ambience that doesn't reflect the quality. If you haven't, you're missing out. As always, bon appetit!"
"Always a pleasure to have dinner here it's authentic and varied as they have many things that Sapporo would not have and it's much more quiet and enjoyable with small groups and family. I love the udon or the soba as well as the assortments of pickles Tsukemono. Everyone's polite without being intrusive and the price is reasonable ."
"I picked up takeout from Osaka for dinner, and the sushi was prepared with care and tasted very good. While there are many sushi options in Louisville, some other locations offer a better ambiance for dining in. However, since I was getting my food to go, the rundown exterior and interior did not bother me.I called in my order, and the employee who took it was kind and efficient. It took about 20 minutes for my order to be ready, which was perfectly fine. Parking was a bit tricky on a Friday night; I had to park four blocks away, but that's to be expected on a weekend. Osaka is a solid neighborhood staple."
"Yuki is one of the best restaurants in Bowling Green. The sushi is amazing and the service is top tier. Could not recommend this restaurant enough."
"Drake's is our go-to spot for consistently great food! Their BLT salad is hands-down the best--so fresh and flavorful with the perfect mix of crisp lettuce, smoky bacon, and juicy tomatoes. We always add their grilled chicken, which is tender, perfectly cooked, and never disappoints. The quality is top-notch every single time we visit, and it's a dish we all look forward to. The service is always friendly and efficient, making every visit enjoyable. Plus, the ambiance is such a fun mix of casual and lively, perfect for a family outing or a laid-back night out. If you're looking for a fresh, satisfying meal in a great atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Drake's!"
"They've remodeled and upped their offerings. Highly recommend the new style sashimi special. 9 pieces and you pick three different fish. We had tuna, white tuna and salmon. All super fresh and delicious. No rice. A bed of high quality lettuces with sesame ponzu dressing. Good ginger house salad. Another of my favorites is the Love Wrap also without rice so great if you prefer low carb. Chic atmosphere and friendly, quick service. Conveniently located next to Trader Joe's."
"Visited this spot on a Saturday night and it quickly became my new favorite! Upon entering, the setup was a little confusing--there was just one counter, and the employee was tied up helping a customer with a to-go order issue. There was no clear indication of whether we should wait to be seated or where to stand, which threw me off a bit. Once we were seated, though, the experience turned around completely. The food was fantastic! My companion had the calamari and a smoked salmon roll, which he enjoyed thoroughly, and I had the miso soup, house salad, and California roll. Everything was fresh and tasty. For such a quality meal, the prices are unbelievably affordable. The ambiance is fine, but nothing special--definitely on the sparse side. That didn't bother me much, though, since the food is the star of the show. Service was solid, especially considering it was a busy night. I'll definitely be crossing the bridge to come back. The combination of quality food and affordable prices is more than enough to make it worth the trip. Highly recommend!"

The staff were super helpful, and so were the other customers! We couldn't decide what to order and someone at the next table helped us out. The sushi was really good, but the star of the meal was the Japanese seafood curry. It was so delicious, I couldn't help but scarf the whole thing down. Unfortunately the Al pastor bibimbap wasn't as flavorful, and our appetizers were only okay. However, the drinks and the vibe were on point, so I think if you know what you like you'll be very pleased overall. Nothing was bad, but the curry pulled all the focus for me. Would happily come again, it ruled.

We went to simply tie the first time this week and I'm gonna say that I enjoyed myself. We got the chicken and rice and vegetable combination. For my meal and it was really tasty. I enjoyed the sauce they have in it. My wife came inside a pineapple which she thought was awesome and the service was nice and quick and the ambience was nice.

Long weekend in Lexington to visit the Bourbon trail. Lucky us, it also happened to be ScareFest weekend which gave us a lot to look at around town! We were staying at the Marriott downtown and had trouble locking down dinner reservations along the way, but this magical place opened up and we grabbed it.The best part is that it is literally next door to the hotel. The next best part is that it has a really fun interior centered around Jeff Rubys awards with a horse racing theme and a giant grand piano on a stage in the bar area. It's very very loud inside, we chose (well not by choice, it's all they had) an outdoor table but it was cool so they had the tent over it with the most unnecessary powerful heaters made by man. We immediately asked to move and the table next to us had done the same so they just turned them off, hooray for customer service. The number of waiters in the restaurant is boggling. I wasn't entirely sure the whole time who was my actual waiter but I think that might have impacted our experience a bit. We had to ask for lots of things (like forks and spoons), but we survived. They had a good (and pricey) wine list and a great selection of drinks! The big let down for us was the lack of sushi. The website says there is a celebrated sushi chef onsite and the special selections looked so good, I know it's weird to expect this at a steakhouse but we actually got excited, but when we arrived we were told they "don't do sushi really on the weekends".., what? So we sadly pivoted. I ordered the kale salad, thankfully one of our waiters told me I just want half not whole and when it arrived even half was huge. It was good but it felt like it was missing the dressing. I had the lobster tail for my main, it was delicious, I had creamed spinach on the side which was good but so over the top rich, I only had a few bites.Overall, it was a fun experience, I would like a do over. Hopefully when the sushi chef is back.

I visited Oishii Sushi for a lunch date and it was a great option for lunch. They really came to our table right away, took our drink order and were very effective and efficient on getting our order in and to our table. I tried the calamari and Oishii Fried Roll. Let's start with the calamari. Very interesting as I have never had calamari in long strips, only circles. It was fine, I go back-and-forth with if I would buy it again. Their sushi is very big. Where are you? Have to take multiple bites for just one piece. The sushi with overall was good and I would definitely order again from this location.

Stopped by this evening after spending the day at the zoo. Ordered a Cali roll sans roe for my kiddo and the HGR and a ginger salad for me. They were good. My kiddo asked for another roll but we were already back at my cousins. The service was quick. It is a drive thru after all. Total was $25.86

I really enjoyed the variety and flavor of the sushi. I'm an avid hotate, raw scallop, enthusiast. Not being on the coast generally limits my ability in my travels to be able to find raw scallops. I was happy to find they did have this on their menu. The service was prompt and polite. The price was reasonable. I spent $42 for 3 rolls, a glass of wine and that included tip.The ambiance is simple, pleasant, quiet and fresh.I would eat here again.

"Great food, great people, amazing service. So kind and attentive!Sushi rolls were fresh and filling. The kids loved the miso soup and chicken teriyaki."
"Always reliable good food, service and surroundings. Had a nice dinner with friends. Enjoyed my favorite healthy meal there -- seared chicken breast with steamed broccoli. My friend's rainbow roll was also delicious with shrimp tempura in it. Will be back again soon."
"We came here for hibachi in mid June. Hibachi is a fun thing to do with kids, and mine enjoyed themselves. My son is still glowing about the clear soup, and they don't eat fried rice...ever. But they eat it here! Really enjoyed ourselves. Wait staff and chef/entertainer were friendly and lively. We had a great time. We forgot to call for a reservation, so we arrived on a Saturday right at open. We were glad we did, as the room filled up while we were there. This is our go to for this style of food!"
"If River City Drafthouse isn't on your radar yet, let me help you fix your life. This place has everything you didn't know you needed: sushi, wings, beer, and games--aka the holy quadrinity of happiness.First off, the sushi. Who knew you could get rolls this fresh at a spot with "Drafthouse" in the name? Then there are the wings--crispy, saucy, and perfectly spiced. I got the Gorilla Warfare and they were spicy but delicious. The draft beer list? Great! It's like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, but with hops. Whether you're an IPA enthusiast or just here for something light and breezy, they've got it. Bonus: it won't break your wallet, so you can keep saying "just one more round" guilt-free.And the games? Genius. Whether you're here to flex your chess skills or just throw a Connect Four token at your friend for stealing the last wing, there's fun for everyone.River City Drafthouse is the kind of place where you can eat, drink, and be merry without spending a fortune. Highly recommend--and don't forget to bring your A-game. (Literally. They've got games.)"
"Eggrolls and mango salmon are so delicious! The fried rice was really good especially with the mango sauce from the salmon! Get everything a spice level 2, perfect amount of spice but not spicy!"
"I am addicted to Bento Asian Kitchen's Jalapeño Chicken. I seriously crave this dish way too much!!! If you love hot & spicy deliciousness you MUST go to Bento and order Jalapeño Chicken. Located in Middletown Bento is located close to Crumble Cookie, Feeders Supply Walmart. The staff are so nice and it's super clean. I like how they bring your food in to go containers because the amount is so much. Just put your lid on and take off. Perfect. My son ordered Orange Chicken with Lo Mein which was quite tasty as well. Don't forget to grab a fortune cookie on your way out. I'll be back soon I'm sure. I can't stay away!"
"Okay, listen. I *wish* that I could tell you more about this experience but they had this drink special called a "Mistletoe Margarita" and I had like four of them, maybe five...so...That all started because they made us wait until our entire party of ten people was in the building before they would seat us. So, because I had to sit in the very cold vestibule, I had to imbibe to warm myself. Tequila makes me wanna fight so the bartender and I agreed that substituting vodka was the smartest play for all concerned. A solid decision. The drink was delicious and nobody got hurt. The company was fantastic and the food was good. There was a lot of activity going on and it was difficult to keep up with the conversation in that seating format. I'm pretty sure that I was supposed to be paying attention to the chef, anyway. Either way, it was fun and I enjoyed the experience."
"Fun atmosphere if you eat inside, but they do take out really well. Someone immediately comes to your car when you park in the curbside pick up area even in the rain, which I appreciate. I live pretty close by and order the mini cheeseburgers with a side of their sweet potato fries occasionally and the sweet potato fries are killer and the burgers are really good. Their steaks are amazing always cooked correctly. The staff has always been very nice. No matter who it is."
"Excellent service from everyone. Good is exceptional. The surprise was three tools when I ordered Spicy Combo Roll. All delicious. My husband had Rice with beef. We enjoyed our meal on a cold winter night."
"Ft. Fuji is a favorite spot for many near UofL's campus. The hibachi is probably the most popular, but they also have some sushi rolls and a variety of other dishes. You can order online, call ahead, and just order in store for carry-out or dine-in. Regardless, they move pretty quickly, and you'll get to eating before you know it. I personally always get two yum yum sauces, and if I'm treating myself, I'll get a bubble tea as well (it's not my favorite, but I like it)! Parking can be a little limited over that way, and definitely don't park at the strip mall across the street. There are meters around though! It's a nice place to grab a casual but tasty lunch or dinner from!"
"Overall this hibachi style Japanese style restaurant was really good! The food came out quickly and all tasted great. The staff was friendly and on top of it all. And the prices were pretty reasonable for how much you get too. I started off with some yummy green vegetable gyoza which were good and came with dipping sauce! For my main course I ordered the scallop hibachi dinner. It was very filling and had plenty left over to take home. To start with they bring you a tasty salad and soup, both were really good! Then the main plate was seared scallops, mixed grilled veggies and a big pile of fried rice. Also came with yum yum sauce. All of it tasted great and there was enough for 2 ppl to be honest. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Great place for a date night too! Overall everything was wonderful. The only surprise was that they don't do all the fun cooking stuff in front of you like other hibachi places I've been to in the past. But tastes great and would go again when I crave this food!"
"I first went here with my friend (let's call him YD) who was also a musician! He attended the University of Kentucky with me. I believe he graduated early. Either way, he said that he could eat a BUNCH of sushi. He couldn't eat as much as me and my friend E. The tradition here is to order in waves of 6 so as to receive your sushi on the coveted "sushi boat." It's gorgeous. You and your friend must then order 2 waves of sushi boat. Then, you must end with a single "Baked Philly" roll. It's a tradition. You will thank me but also hate me as that is a bunch of sushi. Will you find yourself saying a prayer that you make it through all of the rolls? Likely. Then you go next door to the Game X Change and find yourself a copy of "The Original Kings of Comedy" with Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley. I only subtract a star because the copy we bought was BUSTED! Didn't play all the way through! SMH."
"Sushi establishment located in the okolona community of Louisville Kentucky. Located just off outer loop right where it meets Shepherdsville road. I've been eyeballing this place for awhile. My oldest daughter and wife love sushi and we frequent senor iguanas across the street very frequently so This place has caught our eye. From the exterior it looks kinda ran down. They didn't have a legit store sign for a long time so that was off putting. Yesterday on a Friday evening. Me my wife and my oldest and youngest daughters finally made the trip here. The inside is decorated very lovely and nice. Stark contrast from the outside. We received solid service here as well. We started with 4 sushi rolls. The crab Rangoon roll which may have been the best sushi I've ever tasted. Highly recommended. We also got a yum yum roll which was very good as well. The other two rolls we got was a California roll and my oldest got a crab tower. The crab tower was really cool and servers different from other sushi's. My oldest loved it. I took a sample and it was very good. I did not try the California roll but my wife said it was good. Was on par with other California rolls she has Had. For entree I got fried rice with egg and it was solid. My wife and daughter got some soups. Udon noodle with shrimp and a shrimp and veggie ramen. Both were huge and extravagant looking. They both were fans. Only complaint is the breaded shrimp was soggy and that was a weird taste to them. Overall very good place and I'm glad we finally made the trip. Can't always judge a place by its exterior. Kind of a hole in the wall sushi place from the outside. But very nice and tasty on the inside."
"We were driving from Atlanta Cincinnati and were looking for a place to stop for dinner and to watch college football.Drake's was perfect! We enjoyed patty melts and beer at the bar. Delicious melts and lots of beers on tap!! Pro tip, there are 2 big bars, as well as tables available. It is a huge place. The servers and bartenders are SUPER NICE!! Never let our glasses go empty, even when we had switched to Diet Coke and water (had another hour to drive). Will definitely return!! Cheers!!"
"The customer service at this place is exceptional. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and hassle-free dining experience."
"When in Frankfort and the craving for hibachi strikes Ginza is the place to be. Excellent sushi selection, lots of menu options and great entertainment by the chefs at the grill. My friend and I enjoyed much needed girl time over the weekend and Ginza did not disappoint for lunch."
"One of our FAVORITE spots for takeaway! Their team is just so awesome and friendly and their food is GREAT! I'm a big fan of cooked sushi. The moonlight roll is my all time favorite! Highly recommend!"
"Great experience! Food is good and prices were too! Nice portions and good service. Nice selection of draft and bottled beers and a good place to catch the game.Only negative is floor is pretty slippery in some places so may be challenging for people with mobility issues."
"Asian Wok continues to be our spot for delicious, easy-to-order, decently-priced Chinese food. We most recently ordered from here over the weekend, and I was reminded why this continues to be my family's go-to. We are able to order easily via their online ordering. (How can a restaurant today *not* have this?!?) And then our food is ready, usually within 20-25 minutes. A recent favorite of mine: the Dragon & Phoenix, which is made up of jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables, sauteed in white sauce on one side, with General Tso's chicken on the other side. It's a nice combo of flavors. The krab rangoon, sesame balls and egg rolls are also good. Don't sleep on this takeout spot!"
"Drove by this place when leaving the Center for Performing Arts at EKU on our way back to Lexington. Pleasantly surprised! My son and I had the Steak Bento box. The steak hibachi was awesome. The dumplings were cold and the California roll was marginal. My daughter ordered crab Rangoon roll, which was pretty awesome. And the wife went with the steak sushi bowl, which was equally awesome. So, overall, this place is a definite hit. We'll be back any time we're in Richmond."
"Me and my boyfriend enjoy going here it's kind of on the pricey side but it's nice to try new things we'll go there maybe once a month or so my boyfriend loves their sushi and they always have new unique things to try and when you was always changing this time he got the chef special which he ate everything before I even got a chance to take a picture I know it was a crab cake and some type of soup and then he got some type of ravioli ending with a Brownie dessert I went kind of basic this time and got the steak potatoes with the Chef's Choice for vegetable and a really good appetizer that was a goat cheese with some type of jelly on top and the crispy points on the side were tasty my food came out super late but the waitress was really sweet she comped our drinks because the main chef was also presenting a dinner for a different group so they had another Chef working in the back and they kind of overlapped between cooking the meals but overall if you're looking for something new a little more on the fancy side it's a nice place to check out we still love you have to sit outside we'll have to do it one day and have our meal they also have a food truck that we haven't gotten to try yet."
"Finally! A legit hot pot in Louisville. It was "Asian" level spicy, good and affordable. Also, if you're like me who can't always handle the heat, you can opt to have two hot pot, one spicy and one mild. On top of the variety of schezuan dishes that they have they also have the sushi menu and your typical Chinese menu. This place is a bit of a drive from Louisville but this is a complete worth of a visit. The place is clean and there's a Graeter's Ice cream nearby if your tounge can't handle the heat. Super super love this place"
"I wish I could have been here before COVID, but it appears they have made some pretty extensive changes to the place because of COVID. For the most part there is no dine in. They have put up a wall and there are two tables in the area to sit in which are not attached to the regular HVAC system.... cold in winter. That being said, the food was good. I got a tuna bowl and the tuna was fresh. My husband got ramen and really liked it, but there is no dine in experience. Everything is served on disposable plates/containers. I ordered a hot sake and in came in a coffee cup. All drinks are bottles (even water).Typically when I go out to eat, I want the experience and service too.... this is not the place, but would be great for take out."
