The noise was nonstop from the roof being redone. We got pancakes,eggs, hashbrowns, sausage,biscuits and bacon between us. Everything was very tasty and cooked as we ordered. They kept the coffee flowing as well. We would return once construction is done to avoid the noise."

The toast is nice and buttery but wasn't soggy, the sandwich was stuffed full of meat and the fries were amazing.To put things into context, this is rivaling my favorite club from my number one deli. I also loved how the dining area is mostly separate from the bar side. This keeps down the noise and makes it feel less like a sports bar and grill if you are only interested in going for the food. They do have 5 giant TVs on the dinning side of things as well.I will be back many times, and I cannot wait!"

I ordered the Chicken Tenders Basket which came with EIGHT tenders, coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw was excellent and so were the tenders. The tenders didn't have too much batter and were fried to perfection.I had made a list of places in Columbus previously that were rated high on Yelp for lunch. This place was my third place I stopped today and it was the most accommodating. I'm glad I found this lunch spot."

"Stopped in to give it a try and didn't expect such a crowd! Many folks were there because it was a Bengals night! We had a short wait, but the staff was friendly. There were two of us dining. I got the chicken tenders with onion straws, and the other person got the buffalo chicken wrap and tater tots. We both ordered unsweetened iced tea. I wasn't a fan of the tea, so I exchanged it for a half sweet half suit. That was really good. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were absolutely fantastic! Our meals came and my onion straws were cold and not very tasty so I swapped those for tater tots, which were delicious. My chicken tenders were also really good. My friend really enjoyed the wrap and tater tots as well. The service was a little on the slower side but again they were super busy.I will definitely be back since my experience was overall positive. The brussels sprouts are well worth it and I look forward to trying other menu items. Sidenote: it is family friendly, and good for small to larger groups."

Online it told us a 30 minute wait, we arrived a few minutes before the 30 minutes was up and by the time we got our pizza it was cold.The boneless wings were good however, the hot honey had a extra kick. I'm used to hot honey, but these were just a little spicier than normal. We also got the barbecue flavor and they were really good. Overall, the pick up process is pretty easy and the pizza is good when it's hot."

If you do not heed my warning and go here, do not let your eyes wander around the room - food stains on blinds, cobwebs above the door that have been there for five years. Everything feels sticky. Gross. We visited last weekend and we were sweating in the dining room. It must have been in the low to mid 80's. You also risk your life going in / getting out of the one-car wide lane to get back to the parking lot. I will stick with the Blue Ash location."

The onion straws were just OK, as some were a little overcooked and others were a little undercooked. The salad and dressing were great!My main complaint was that service was really slow, and we were on a little bit of a time crunch. Our server, however, was extremely courteous and friendly, and she kept the refills coming. Overall, I really enjoyed our visit to Barleycorn's. I hope to have an opportunity to return when we're not in so much of a rush."

Street parking in downtown Columbus is usually easy unless there is an event going on. This is one of our favorite spots as locals and we hope to see you there!"

I ended up going to watch part of the Giants game... took a while to get the channels right, but once it was on it was great. A DJ was on the second floor spinning some fantastic tunes. It also happened to be brunch time, so on my side was the bar and some stools and tables, and the other side had a lot more tables and a brunch buffet going on. The staff at the bar informed me that they only had wings and fries due to brunch -- I appreciated the heads up. Wings were perfect for the game. I asked what flavors they had, and Caribbean jerk was one of them, so that's exactly what I got. They took... a while. Quite a while. But it's okay because they were TOTALLY worth the wait! At almost $2/wing, I was pleasantly surprised by the burst of flavor and heat, and the wings themselves were done well!Overall I loved the vibe of the place and it was cool to support a Black-owned bar near my hotel.
