"The food was good and fresh and the service was quick! The restaurant was neat and tidy too."
"Very satisfying. Had a big lunch and ordered a lot of food so we could try different things and have some to take home. Food was served quickly and was very fresh. Highly recommended."

"I've lived in louisville majority of my life and I have had not heard of this spot until it was suggested to visit in my foodie group. It was a large group of us so it was nice to be able to reserve online without any issues. When I arrived, I was able to find my group quickly. Once I was seated, the waiter came right away to get my drink order. I ordered a cosmo. I looked over the menu ahead of time so I knew exactly what I wanted. Once the group arrived, we placed our order. I do not eat beef or pork, but they do have other options. I ordered a fish sandwich. We also ordered some shareables like the pretzel and beer cheese and the pimento cheese arancini. When the food arrived it was hot and very good. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was family friendly and had a full service bar. I will def be going back."
"THIS PLACE! We had one of be best dinners of our lives last night. I asked on Facebook where I should take Lauren to celebrate her kicking butt in everything and @jamesmkarlson recommended @butcherandbarrel. So we booked a reservation and OMG. They made it such a special experience for Lauren. Jennifer (adore her) started out seating us with a note congratulating her, a little bracelet, and non alcoholic champagne she was ecstatic. Like, come on, how freaking adorable is that! Now the food....we went HAM. *Tuna tartare with fried avocado, hearts of Palms, jalapeño crema, and rice crisps. Lauren ate it all! I had one bite. *truffled deviled eggs. Lauren doesn't even like deviled eggs. These were for me. She said it was one of her favorite things. *Lobster bruschetta. Rich, buttery, and fresh. My favorite appetizer. Then the main drop. Australian A5 Wagyu cooked to mother freaking perfection. I died. Then they surprised us with a dessert trio. * hazelnut fig jam crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is our favorite dessert of all time and this was one of the best ones. I asked him if he got the recipe from Jimmy Gibson before he passed away because it tasted just like Jimmy Gs. And if you're in Cincy, you know what I'm talking about.* tiramisu. We were stuck, but we somehow managed to get this down also. Toffee and chocolate mousse and everything you want it to be.* Cream puff with a lemon sauce and berries. It was the perfect ending to such a phenomenal meal. It was light, but it was good and thank God we walked a mile and a half to from the red stadium because we were beyond full. I recommend! The food was outstanding. I love little tapas plates for the price and selection. I've never really had much Argentinian food, but this was next level. I can't wait to go back."
"We've eaten here several times, usually once or twice a year when visiting French Lick. The place is charming. It can be loud and the wait staff can be more casual and friendly than a chain restaurant, where the staff has to stay on script. The last two visits, once a year for the past two years, some of the food was cold. Both times it was the meatballs and the sides (noodles, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, cabbage). I really want this place to succeed, and there are so few places like this that are a true labor of love. They've got to get the kitchen under control, though. Three stars based on reputation and our history here."
"Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"
"So, I travel a lot and this place was positively a delightful find. The food was the absolute highlight, it's become a staple for when I come back. This was easily some of the tastiest food I've ever had, I had the eggplant appetizer which was spicy, savory and delicious in every way. My dinner of lamb was also wonderful, the generous portion of lamb was surprising in the best way. Top that off with the fact that it was delicious and you can't lose! The atmosphere is charming and welcoming in here. You walk in and get this kind of nice mix of classic Afghan and just a hint of America which is plesant. There's no overly loud music, the ambiance is just lovely, it's a win overall. Finally service-wise, this is the only area I wasn't totally thrilled. The server was a little less than attentive, yes we got seated quickly, yes we got our order taken quickly, then she disappeared. Not a huge problem but I felt thats the only thing separating this from a 5-star review. All in all really well done, and it's family owned which just makes it even better definitely give them a try!"
"Great service. Pizza was a little bit pricey, but every bite was well worth. The prices of the old menu pictures are outdated. I will definitely come back for more. The bartender gave me a 5 diamond caliber treatment. Thank you. The restroom super clean. Ambiance was acceptable"
"Hummus. Eat the Hummus!! All of the food is delicious, but the hummus Our server was polite, orders were 100% accurate, and delicious. It's quaint inside and inviting."
"Stopped for lunch today on the way back to our Airbnb. Fast and friendly service, excellent fries and burgers. I had a classic hamburger and it was exactly what you want in a traditional burger, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle.Friends had the Gouda with grilled onions and mushrooms and the teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple and both were great. Cute decor with repurposed church pews at the bigger tables. Great food, especially for the price!"
"This place is out of this world! So good. Ordered the jalapeño cheese bread and a supreme pizza and everything was so fresh and flavorful! The location is very interesting as well. Next to the coolest park around and a few blocks from Friday After 5, which is a music event every Friday night. We will be going back for sure!!"
"Went on a Sunday. I don't know about you, but i like a cool breakfast on a hot summer day. Parking on street was pretty easy nearby and free. I ordered the large East market açaí bowl. Their bananas were green so she listed a bunch of alternative fruit and I sub'd raspberries and added almond butter for an extra dollar. Was excited to enjoy my açaí bowl and then stroll around the local boutiques for treasures. When mine was ready, she called me to the counter with a smile and I grabbed my yummy looking (and tasting!) bowl. Loved the crisp of the granola. The açaí mix was more like crispy ice chips than the creamy texture I'm used to but it's so hot, it was welcome. Flavor was great, not sweetened! Loaded with fruit toppings, this is well worth the money. It seems standard to have your meal packaged to go, though there are a half dozen tables inside and a couple outside to sit at if you wish. My main suggestion is to offer a different spoon to eat these. My flimsy plastic spoon felt like a mismatch for the textures and depth of the bowl (and for the quality of the food). Overall, I'd recommend this place for flavor, value, and location!"

Avocado toast is weird now. I've been ordering the avocado toast for a couple of years now but they keep changing it and now it has a bunch of fruit and veggies on it, even more than the menu states. There isn't even egg on it anymore even though the menu says there is. And it cost me $15! They're trying too hard to make it fancy and it's no longer appetizing breakfast food. Pass.

Service was efficient, perhaps a bit terse at times but I'm willing to let that slide, as closing time was approaching. Ambiance was about as expected. I thought the complimentary appetizer, Indian crisps with 2 chutneys, was lovely. My Panir Masala was colorful, complex and wonderfully spiced; the medium (choices are mild, medium, hot, and Indian hot) heat level was plenty for me.The garlic naan was great - bubbly, chewy and liberally seasoned.

We had reservations for 8 at 12:30 pm. 2 members of our party used wheelchairs. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server Stephanie was so kind and friendly. The manager Will went the extra mile to make our event just perfect. I had the shrimp and grits which was heavenly. Several people had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy and said it was great. One BLT and one Pimento grilled cheese also got good reviews from our friends. The atmosphere was fun and bright for our friends birthday. I highly recommend Kaelins 80/20

The Provoleta was AMAZEBALLS between that and our salads, we almost had to tap out early. Almost. We managed about half our dinners. R had a burger and I had the ñoquis con estofado. It was fantasmic! I'm honestly shocked they didn't have a line out the door. We definitely recommend popping in when you're downtown. They've got a great bar and private dining areas, too.

Always a great place for lunch. Not as crowded. Food is excellent. The German beer choices are good. The dark is the best.

We found this restaurant by accident & worried when we saw it was in a mall but it was very nice. We sat outside by the water & it was beautiful. The food was very good and our server was very friendly. The only downside was it took awhile to get our first round of drinks

Outstanding food, outstanding service! I was in Bloomington today and had dinner at Samira and it was excellent. We ordered two lamb dishes, both were extremely flavorful and very tender. Our waitress was great too. Highly recommended!

I would fist fight a bear for their pizza. Yes really.I got one of their specials, something with bbq and burnt ends, and now I'm a fan. They put their whole heart into this pizza. It was tasty, greasy, and hefty. Overall I felt like a pos after eating it because there's no way something so amazing could be a smidge good for you. It isn't, but I don't mind. This is a hefty fully loaded type of pizza, and I day dream about it. The only reason I haven't been back is because I havnt eaten pizza in the past month or so. I will be back, I vow it.Enough of the dramatics, go try their pizza. It's good but pricey. Worth it.

"When walking in, we saw a line that was literally to the door but that didn't deter us. I am glad that we stuck it out because the line was lightning quick! Seating is limited, but most people were self aware enough to enjoy their lunch and then get up so the next group/person could sit down. Don't be afraid to share tables!I had the taco bowl. It was super fresh and the flavors of that really come out in the dish. The picture I took probably doesn't do the dish its justice due to the lid being pressed on... I wish they had left it off since we told them we were getting it "for here" as that would've made for a better photo but they have some greats ones on Yelp as is. The protein portions were perfect and I was happy to see they weren't stingy. This place could be a national brand if they so choose. Amazing place."
"Green District is my go-to spot for fresh and delicious salads in Louisville. The ingredients are always incredibly crisp, and the variety of toppings and dressings is unbeatable. I ordered the 'Chicken Salad...Salad' and it was the perfect mix of ingredients. You can tell they take their quality seriously. The service is super quick, even during busy lunch hours. The salads are on the pricier side but the portions are pretty generous."
"Solid pizza, easy going vibes, and with late night hours! Personally, I love to snag some of their grab and go items when I'm in a rush for lunch--they have some solid salads that make things nice and easy.I also really enjoyed their chicken parm--which surprised me! It wasn't a huge, saucy, overload-of-cheese vibe, which is what I come to expect. Rather, it was a nicely-fried medium to small-sized cutlet, with a yummy red sauce and a modest amount of cheese. But it was well balanced and good quality, especially for the price. It's become one of my go-to items to order! The service is helpful, but chill, which I personally appreciate when I'm just trying to be in and out."
"100% recommend choosing Smashing Tomato over some of the personal pizza National chain places around here. The pizza is so fresh, the salads are all great, and I love the bread and olive oil/balsamic you get to eat alongside your meal as well! The service is always quick and the food always tastes great. If you haven't tried it, try the Pisto (garlic cream) as your base. You won't be disappointed!"
"We were traveling south back to Knoxville after spending the day at The Ark Encounter. We needed to eat before it got to late. I looked on yelp for pizza & this was number 1. We decided to give it a try. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive to us. We told her we had never been there & she was very helpful telling us about the menu. We ordered a pizza and it was so good just like all the other reviews. The atmosphere was great as well. If we ever are passing back through we will stop in again."
"Taziki's is a franchise but locally owned and operated. When I crave Mediterranean this is the place to come! Consistently good and the space offers a chance to relax indoors or on the patio. I love the chicken kabob feast with Greek salad and basmati rice. Make sure to remove any topping you don't enjoy as it's tough to pick it out. One of the best places for nugget ice too! Coke products. Friendly service. Ordered right away. Clean tables and food walked out to us."
"I have ordered their chicken ranch pizza many times before, and still love it. My only grievance with it this time is that it was cold when we picked it up. Online it told us a 30 minute wait, we arrived a few minutes before the 30 minutes was up and by the time we got our pizza it was cold. The boneless wings were good however, the hot honey had a extra kick. I'm used to hot honey, but these were just a little spicier than normal. We also got the barbecue flavor and they were really good. Overall, the pick up process is pretty easy and the pizza is good when it's hot."
"Went to gustavos in crestwood and got a margarita flight. It was ok. Definitely a premix and not poured tequila. Syrupy and they all tasted the same. Also had the shrimp taco salad and it was pretty good, food was made fresh. They have hotdogs for pickier eaters (toddler)"
"Great service and good atmosphere. A bit loud but it's a big old restaurant and there's not a lot of sound batting. There's no photo of the fries because they were cool when they came out so I asked for new fries. Server was apologetic and got me new fries super fast which was awesome! They were good too! Asked for burger medium rare got it medium well. So that's why 1 star off. The fried green tomatoes app is super yummy and I recommend that over the deviled eggs. The eggs were good but not a hit out of the ballpark. If you love pimento cheese - get the fried green tomatoes. The s'mores dessert was just ok. I think it would have been great with a quality Graham cracker. These were the off-off brand lol and not good. Definitely would eat here again."
"Classy interior, your average Mexican fare, light and well flavored. Came in for a margarita and a single beef taco. Just what I needed."
"I visited with my spouse for the first time tonight. Everything was great! The atmosphere inside was laid back but still elegant. Nothing pretentious. Just nice, with dark blue tablecloths and good music in the background. We started with cocktails. My spouse had the raspberry mojito and I had a negroni. Both were excellent. We shared a starter of panzanella (toasty seasoned bread cubes with roasted tomatoes & red onion with shaved asiago). Delicious and appetizing. For entrees: my spouse had pasta with chicken (homemade pasta with chunks of flavorful chicken and fresh tomatoes); she said it was great. I had pan roasted redfish over vegetables: the fish was cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior, seasoning correct, tasty sauteed fresh vegetables. Very nice.We finished with the two special desserts: zeppole with mocha gelato (killer!) and warm strawberry crisp with cream (quite good).Service was attentive. Pricing typical (about $100 before tip). We'll be back."
"The customer service at this place is exceptional. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and hassle-free dining experience."
"Charming airy space great for enjoying your coffee or lunch. Staff was nice, prices were great and the restroom was well stocked with different items you might need. Great job Bean!!!"
"I saw Green District on Yelp and the Kentucky travel blog as well and had to give it a try. I do love salads but opted for the wrap and this place did not disappoint! Super fresh ingredients and priced much more reasonable than the fast food guys portions by far.The staff was friendly, lively and welcoming. Will definitely be a repeat lunch stop for me!!"
"Griffs was the first restaurant I was ever truly obsessed with, and revisiting it almost 8 years after my first encounter my thought remains the same! In college I would say that Griffs was going to cater my wedding (and if I hadn't gotten married in Vegas they probably would have!)What I recommend: The chipotle chicken panini, the ranchero wrap (on spinach), the chipotle chicken spud.If looking to try more than one thing get the pick two. Even 8 years later I still get the pick two so I can get different things. And get the sweet tea!!!! Nothing beats that giant styrofoam cup of tea so darn sweet. Their paninis are crisp, ingredients fresh, and my order has never once been wrong. They are doing something right and you can tell by how busy they stay! Don't be surprised if you visit after a rush and they are out of potatoes!Every time I visit BG I plan to return!"
"Solid salads (per my partner) and wraps. The first time I visited, I ordered the kickin' chile chicken wrap with extra green chile sauce and it's so good I've returned twice and ordered the same dang thing. I take my food to go every time and the ambience for eating in seems perfectly fine. The employees have been super friendly and every time they've asked me if I prefer extra sauce on the side or on the wrap, which is considerate. My only complaint is with the app. It's aggressive with the pop-ups and jumping around and a bit glitchy."
"I love takeout, and takeout during happy hour is even better! The beer battered fish taco and potato and egg taco is my favorite, while my daughter loves the quesadilla and dessert empanadas. We love being able to walk here for fresh Mexican food! Mango margarita is"
"A great little hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop uptown. The food is reasonably priced for the quality and the service is always prompt. Even when I came in close to closing time, the staff was friendly and willing to serve me. A consistently good place to stop after class or with out-of-towners."
"Place is so neat, clean, and friendly.Amazing juice and smoothie selections.A lot to choose from but definitely unique and will visit again when we are in town!"
"Great local bar with great food. Popped in for a quick drink and their sauerkraut balls. I was so hungry and couldn't wait for them I forgot to take a photo. Friendly staff and owner."
"I wish I could have been here before COVID, but it appears they have made some pretty extensive changes to the place because of COVID. For the most part there is no dine in. They have put up a wall and there are two tables in the area to sit in which are not attached to the regular HVAC system.... cold in winter. That being said, the food was good. I got a tuna bowl and the tuna was fresh. My husband got ramen and really liked it, but there is no dine in experience. Everything is served on disposable plates/containers. I ordered a hot sake and in came in a coffee cup. All drinks are bottles (even water).Typically when I go out to eat, I want the experience and service too.... this is not the place, but would be great for take out."
"this place is great! i used to live in Mt. Sterling and used to come here all the time. the wood fired pizza has the best crust ever. they have lots of options and i hadn't been here in years so they had lots of new stuff i hadn't seen! they were playing bob ross and the whole place was cute. they don't serve you so cant really rate the service that much. they were nice but not friendly. overall i love it here. we got cheese sticks, the quattro formaggi with olives, a vanilla creme soda and a caesar salad. all was delish! that crust makes everything worth it! and the gorgonzola had that delicious bite on the cheesy pizza with the tangy olive, and to top it off with the refreshing creamy vanilla soda. perfect lunch!"
"I have tried Currito a couple of times now and it is fantastic! Everything is so fresh and delicious. I love the Bangkok Bowl which is Thai inspired but based on my visits I'd bet everything is wonderful. Everything in the bowls goes together so well to create an awesome blend of flavors id recommend to try them exactly how they're made! I also tried the chips and guacamole today and that was awesome as well the chips were so fresh and crispy and the guacamole was chunky and perfectly seasoned. I can't wait to try more things from Currito!"
