"This place is deceiving it looks small when you walk but the place is huge-there are great large picnic styles tables in the way back of this place -so cool. Pizza was great dough was a fresh and so were the ingredients my husband I had the steak and mushroom pizza and the Sriracha shrimp pie both were great-the house salad was huge and a small salad is all you need! Service was good and they stay busy! It is worth the wait bc during game days they are packed!!! I highly recommend!!"
"Well this place has been in the neighborhood forever. I don't know how many owners it's had but you can tell it's a staple because it is completely full during lunch and dinner on most days of the week. Just moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and even though I feel the menu here is pretty limited, it's just always busy. And good for them! Ambience is very classic and lots of wood. Service seems to be good for the past few times I've been here. I had the zips burger which I thought was pretty good and my friend had the train wreck which he really liked. Everything else is sort of extra and there's not much else on the menu besides burgers and fries. But if that's what you want, it's going to be here! Maya was our server and she did a great job of taking care of us."

"A step into Cincy history always a good time. Service and food very good. Crowded sometimes but in a fun way."
"Loved the overall ambiance of this place. I enjoyed all the outdoor seating. I got the turkey and avocado melt and ordered a side of truffle fries. The truffle fries were the best fries I have ever had. They were so crispy and had excellent seasoning. I would drive all the way to Louisville just for those fries. Definitely the perfect place to hang out on a beautiful summer night."
"Bar Bites & Bourbon: A Go-To Spot That Never DisappointsLooking for a laid-back spot with great food, generous portions, and friendly service? This bar delivers on all fronts. With a menu packed with variety, the chicken tenders and fries are a solid choice--crispy, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared. Drinks? Tall beers and smooth bourbons make for a satisfying pairing. At $64.86 for the meal, the value is undeniable. The staff? Engaging, attentive, and always making patrons feel welcome. While the atmosphere is your standard bar scene, the overall experience keeps regulars coming back. Whether you're in for a quick bite or exploring the extensive menu, this spot remains a reliable favorite."
"Wicks is a staple of you want great pizza. Not mediocre, not okay, but great pizza. You definitely get your moneys worth when you eat here. Great spot!"
"This place has THE best burgers, hand down. Tonight was a Tall Stack kinda night. This is a "put on your condiments, smash down and go to town" kind of burger.Be warned, you better have an appetite because this is no joke. 2 five ounce burgers, cheese, bacon and whatever else you ask for...oh yeah and a mess of fries to go with it. So, snout up and dig in!I finished it, desserts to go and a waddle to the car. I always have a great meal here...and you should too."
"If you're a French fry lover.... order nothing else to eat, and get a basket of fries. The texture of their fries are amazingly crispy while not being anywhere near overcooked. Excellent fries. Coldest bottled beer in town!"
"First and foremost, The Blue Heron Steakhouse is locally owned and operated. It's been my experience that locally owned and operated is always a wonderful event. More inviting, great service, delicious meals/drinks and an overall "take care of the customer" attitude. The Blue Heron Steakhouse hit all of these marks. A very charming old home that's been renovated with original fireplace, and stately bar and seating area. The Loaded Baked Potato soup is an understatement. There was so much toppings you couldn't see the soup! (See pic). And what flavor. I'm so glad I took the servers recommendation on the "Commanders Fish of the Day" what a fabulous dish and a virtual taste bud explosion! Lol. And what 5 star review would be complete without mentioning what great service that was provided and well crafted cocktails they have."
"The best Irish Pub in Louisville!Flanagan's is nothing short of great. There are several areas to sit indoors and outdoors (outdoors is dog friendly). The staff are kind, helpful, and efficient. The food here is really good. I usually order either their pretzels or onion rings as an appetizer and they never disappoint. They serve delicious fish & chips and their fish sandwich may be the best in Louisville. They also serve a great Reuben and a delicious hamburger. This may be the best place to hang-out in Louisville. I highly recommend it."
"OG Tap Room may have closed years ago....but Highlands Tap Room Grill (and the sister bar next door that shares the patio) is still the tops for me.No matter the time of day or night, what I am in the mood for, Tap Room always does it for me. I still consider it my "Cheers" place, where everybody knows my name. Which is only a little hyperbolic...but if an familiar employee isn't working, I am also sure to know several customers. It isn't fancy. But they have table service until about 9/9:30pm each night. The food is interesting and delicious. Solidly good every time. The specials are usually great too. The pulled pork nachos are huge and tasty, the crabby patty sandwich is delightful, the onion rings and the sauce with them are my favorite, the spinach salad is a great choice when you want something less carb-y and fried. And not only that...they have BRUNCH too!Saturdays offer a small, but familial breakfast menu. Sundays are the real deal with a small buffet and pancakes made to order. Mimosas and Bloody Marys...they have you covered. And all of this doesn't even begin to cover the trivia nights, art pop up shows, concerts and karaoke. The staff are wonderful. Sometimes when it gets busy they get a little backed up, but they have their eyes open in case you have to get their attention.I have never had a bad time at Tap Room and I return here regularly. It is my one stop shop. And I love it."
"First time there. Saw a post on Facebook about taco Tuesday. So why not. I tried the carnitas, chicken and veggie tacos $3 each on Tuesday. The carnitas was just okay. But the chicken taco was my favorite. The veggie taco was just a bean taco but it has so much flavor. The onions they have on the taco are either pickled or brined...but those set off the flavors. Also got the pasta jambalaya to go and the brussel sprouts. I'm having that for lunch tomorrow so I will let you know. My god-daughter ordered churro donuts with ice cream for dessert and loved it. Bryant our server was great and very helpful with these first timers. Margarita was tasty. Little too sweet but tasty. Definitely going back to try more food. Oh...they do have a crazy beer selection but we went there for tacos. If you want some specialty beers, this is the place to go and food if excellent! Lots of TV's at the bar. Right by the movie theater so you can have dinner and a movie."

We had a great lunch at Zip's today. It's small but there was plenty of seating and the historic building is super cool. Our kids loved watching the train go around the top of the restaurant. The burgers were excellent. The mac and cheese is classic diner style and our toddler devoured it. The onion rings were giant and some of the best I've ever had. The chicken tenders were great. The fries weren't the best I've had but they were fine. Overall, I can't believe this was my first trip and I'll definitely go back. The staff was incredibly nice and quick with refills, etc. This is a must visit in Cincinnati.

We went to Arnold's on a Saturday afternoon for Cincy Burger Week. We were seated in the beautiful courtyard area, which I love. The fans kept things cool enough on a hot sunny day. Our server, Becca, was very attentive and even made it a point to check if we liked our beers before the food came. I had the burger special and added fries. Everything was delicious and clearly homemade. I also had a Guinness which was perfectly poured. Arnold's just recently started serving lunch again and as a downtown employee I'll be sure to take advantage of their reasonable prices, homemade food and historic ambiance. I also appreciate the number of vegetarian options for those seeking options. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic traditional Irish Pub. Lots of wood fixtures and glass lights. All very pub. We used the outside window to order a mimosa. It was fast, the bartender was friendly, and the mimosa was on point. This is for sure a spot that I will return to with my husband to hang out.

We are seeing a show at 20th Century Theater and wanted to eat beforehand at someplace close. Well, ya can't get much closer than Oakley Pub and Grill. This will not be our only visit!! We shared the chips and queso, crunchy cabbage salad and the blue collar worker (40 oz Miller High Life and 20 wings). Each had a cub of chili. The food and service were fantastic! I think my favorite was the chili but hard to pick over the wings, salad and queso. I didn't get any pictures of the food except the wings we are taking to go. I highly recommend this place!!! Excited to come back and try something different!

We ordered pizza to be delivered to our hotel after being out and about all day. Ike others have said it's not thin crust but it's not overly thick either. Good toppings, sauce, and it was still hot upon 3rd party delivery.

We came because he needed a big juicy burger and that's what he got; spot on, perfectly medium rare. Fries were fresh and not too salty. The mahi mahi tacos? Skip. Hard pass. Bland side salad, very boring tacos because they were made with canned pineapple; my son's are better (in fairness, he graduated from San Diego University ;-) The only thing that improved mine was a lot of Tabasco so a five for his experience, a three for mine...

"What a freakin gem of a find!My friend that lives on this side of town and I were trying to find a place to eat that was chill enough for us to dinner at after work. She mentioned she had a few good things from some colleagues about TotB, so off we went! The tavern is located in an unassuming strip mall at a - shocker - bend in the road. The parking is plentiful but awkward; the spaces are small if you drive a larger vehicle. The inside of the restaurant has the feel of a neighborhood sports bar. I thought I was in for some frozen wings and Bud Lite, but man was I wrong!First thing I noticed was that they have an excellent tap selection. The first time I was here, I had a pumpkin beer (yes, I'm a little behind on reviewing!), and the kind server had the brilliant idea of giving it a honey brown sugar top. GAMECHANGER! It wasn't heavy enough that it gave dessert vibes so it was easy to drink a couple of them.Their menu is heavy on the midwestern, specifically Cincinnati-special, cuisine. They have hanky pankys, y'all!! In true Ohio fashion, I asked my friend from San Diego how she likes her hanky pankys. She responded with concern for my out of place sexual innuendo, to which I had to explain that hanky pankys are an iconic, PG-rated appetizer. Tavern does them the right way on pumpernickel rye. I unfortunately had to share my order, but I'd down a whole plate by myself, easy. TotB is known for their Mac and cheese. As your resident Goetta aficionado, of course I had to order their Goetta Mac. My friend steered toward the lobster Mac. I was surprised that my friends pasta had more lobster than mine did Goetta. I also thought the noodles themselves could have had more cheese sauce. Nonetheless, it was still tasty and I finished what I could before becoming full.Unfortunately, I do not have the privilege of living close enough to this establishment to visit more frequently, nor do I have the funds to move closer. No sir, not in this economy! I will have to settle for driving across town for my hanky Panky fix - pun intended ;)"
"Walked into this bar for a few after a couple other bars. The behind bar shelf is beautiful. It was elaborately carved and just cool. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartenders were adequate. They were not crazy busy. Ordered an Irish Green Tea which was okay. Watched him make it. Didn't put any sweet/sour mix in it, so it was lacking. I got it as a drink instead of a shot, so I had time to taste it. Other than that, we just shared a dessert. Something chocolate, don't even remember what it was, but it was fine. Not too memorable.Watched numerous employees get off work here and begin drinking. We also watched the bartenders do shot after shot. While we were there maybe 1 - 1.5 hours. We saw both bartenders do at least six shots. One was doing Vegas bombs and the other was doing vodka shots with OJ chasers. At least I think it was vodka. I couldn't see the bottle. At one point, a few servers got off shift and walked up to the side of the bar. One of them did a shot, but not just a shot. It was an entire rocks glass filled with Jameson. It was impressive. This bar was okay. No idea how the food was. Staff was fine but not overly friendly. The entertainment was watching the staff drink. I guess I don't hang out in college bars in Indiana enough to make it seem normal."
"I am a big fan of spicy black bean soup and they have it on their regular menu. Yay! Cute kitchy decor. Great bar food. Service was great. Busy place at lunch time."
"Nice local bar and restaurant for a burger and beer. I had a very tasty specialty sandwich and a beer. Renovated old house with good character including a classic bar and outdoor dining. Friendly service and atmosphere for a traveler dining at the bar with the locals."
"Great neighborhood bar with pretty good food and a nice patio when the weather cooperates. The bartenders are nice and served us promptly. We grabbed a couple beers - they have a decent local selection on tab and they're all $6.50. We took a look at the menu and decided to try the brusell sprout special, fries, and the spicy chicken wrap. The brusell sprouts were our favorite; they were paired with a sweet Thai chili sauce.Would recommend if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out."
"My wife and I were cordially invited out for an honorary evening and while we were in the Newburgh area we decided that we would go out to eat afterwards. We decided upon this place after a little debate on trying something new and eating Indian food. As you can tell I lost the debate and we settled for a truly American style restaurant. I have never been here before and was thoroughly pleased with my wife's selection. We entered the restaurant and only stood there maybe two minutes before being seated. The booth was nice and the ambiance was great for an evening meal for two. The table was sticky though. From what I gathered it was the paint and would be willing to bet that every table was sticky. We were served water without asking for it and also some house made chips were brought in a moderately sized bowl. I was the first to try the chips and the water. I later gleaned my wife's take on them both. The water was absolutely tap water. No filter. The chlorine after taste was superb. The chips were certainly very crunchy but felt almost stale, albeit they did have a good flavor and I was hungry and ate most of the bowl assuming the texture was supposed to be as it was. We were also offered more water before our chlorinated pitcher was empty so I was obliged to say of course. Then our waiter came by and took our order. She didn't come back but to deliver the bill and receive payment. Our food was delivered accurately and seemingly promptly. The food was wonderful. I had the prime burger. I mainly chose this because the menu wishes you luck in the description? My wife ordered the prime dip with onions and peppers, for a little extra $$. It was served with a Au jus sauce and some horseradish sauce. The prime burger was great. When I ordered it I was asked "Red or no red" . I said no red. The burger had the patty, bacon, and bbq on it and it was really good. The fries were good too! Especially dipped in the horseradish sauce. I tried the prime dip as well. It was really good too. And it reheated well in the microwave as a leftover. The place was nice and I had a good time with my wife for a night on the town. Thanks Prime Time."
"Where else would I be when in Lexington? The full UK bar experience is here. Catch this place on a Caturday or during March Madness, the environment is unreal. Great drink specials, tasty bites, badass bartenders and the best live music!"
"We've died and gone to BBQ Brisket Heaven, I don't think this could be any better! Extremely tender, super succulent, and downright incredible! When I saw they had 5* on Grubhub I'm like that can't be right...oh boy am I over the moon to say how wrong I was!!!!! If you want some Incredible BBQ......RUN! The sides were Great too!"
"We came in for a quick drink while waiting for our reservation elsewhere but couldn't give up the opportunity for some chicken wings. We were impressed on the size, they were crispy, the casablanca dry rub felt like it needed a little more flavor but the wings were still pretty fantastic. The service was very fast! We ordered 2 local beers, a vodka and club soda, and the creole turnaround. We had an issue with the club soda being a little flat and the bartender immediately made a new one with bottled club soda instead of the gun to make sure it wasn't flat. Thanks for also allowing us to order our items 20 minutes before closing!"
"Get the lunch chicken alfredo with a side salad. Great price great food and kind service!"
"Updating my review to 4 stars since I heard that Aly no longer works at The Rackhouse. I really like the rest of the staff there and am so grateful for the care they took of our group at the hotel!"
"Excellent pizza here! Crust is crisp, sauce is fresh and not overwhelming, loaded with toppings, and has a very nice blend of seasonings in the crust. We ordered this for lunch at work at 11am and it was ready promptly at 11:30 as promised for pickup. Truly enjoyed it for hole-in-the-wall pizza! Will be ordering a lot more frequently. We ordered pepperoni, banana peppers, pineapple, and bacon, and the pizza was loaded with bacon! So good. Pepperonis were really crisp and delicious, and everything seemed fresh. Baked perfectly."
"Nice chill vibes to watch games, eat and drink. My breaded wings slapped; I mixed hot with Parmesan garlic. Ranch and blue cheese were nice as well. I also tried the hot mixed with bbq (which I rarely do bbq), those slapped as well.My dinks were hefty. I'll be back"
"I seriously considered giving it a 5 star rating but because when I called about happy hour details, the guy hung up without saying goodbye. Once we got there, it was obvious that the "nice guy" who waited on us, was the same one who answered the phone. Not a huge deal. We sat out on the back patio along with some frequenters. The pub atmosphere was similar to close by Shamrocks but the crowd seemed a bit older than the going crowd at Shamrocks. Happy hour was until 7pm and I wish that I could list further details about it but I didn't get the details, just that the appetizers were $2 off during the happy hour. I ordered the chicken tenders and the loaded pub fries. Both orders were huge and well worth $4.75 each. I would recommend Patchen Pub over Shamrocks when it comes to food quality and I would try it again."
"I ate there yesterday and I will return! Service was great. One of their signs read something to the effect of "not the place to be if you're in a hurry". . I was actually in a slight hurry since I was trying to get back to another local business before it closed, I didn't let it be known, but service was timely.Soup of the day (Stuffed pepper? - "Nick Clooney's favorite") sounded weird but intriguing. It was delicious. Steak sandwich was probably one of my favorites ever, and I've eaten around the world."
"It's very convenient from our home and is usually our go-to restaurant. We love coming here and it always fresh and delicious. The service is very polite and was fast to seat us quickly. The dinning room chairs are comfortable and it is a nice atmosphere. I would recommend coming if looking to try something new or different."
"This is a great place. Good pizza. They can half and half any flavors. Great beer and wine selection. Staff is attentive and friendly. They have carry out for COVID too."
"I walked in on a game day and I about jumped out of my skin when the apparently extremely drunk fans screamed a game chant as soon as I walked in the door. At first I laughed and waved at the greeting but as I sat, waiting on a waitress, it got louder and each time someone would walk in the chants repeated louder each time. Thinking that I'd pick up a few drinks and appetizers, I sat for about ten minutes and never was approached by bar staff and I was steering clear of the bar top and it's patrons. Did I mention that this was a weekday? Stay away from this place. Why the second star? Because it's possible that the food, karaoke and pool table might be awesome and worth the wait... just consider yourself warned if you insist ;)"
"I was faced with waiting at CVG for two hours and decided to take myself out for a drink. It was a $16 uber ride from the airport, which I think is a fair price. Airpopped tater tots go well with a pint of Yuengling's."
"Excellent pizza with fresh toppings. A hidden gem next to Highway 41 and Morgan Avenue!"
"A couple of years ago some coworkers told me that if I was ever in shelbyville to go to Westside Pub. Fast forward to today, finally made my way to the location and it's now Whiskey Johns -- a smoke free and recently updated dive bar with still exceptional bar food and a really awesome bartender. We bellied up to the bar for food and drinks but ended up sitting and talking to locals and the bartender for over an hour. We came midafternoon and beat the rush. All of the tables were reserved tonight (!). The Cadillac wings, fish and spicy cheese cubes all were very good and we look forward to coming back again!"
"We made reservations for Friday night, prior to FC Cincy game. As usual with reservations, we were taken right back to a table right away. Moerlein is bright and with ceiling to floor windows- you enjoy the river view from most any table. We ordered some appetizers- the fried pickles and the triple dip (guac, roasted corn salsa and pimento dip). Both were great. The batter on the fried pickles was crunchy. The triple dip honestly doesn't need the soft pita unless one of the dips was hummus. It really doesn't go with the other three. The chips were good. For dinner we had the bison meatloaf, squash Wellington with a side of garlic mash and a German sausage platter. The good: The German sausage platter was very flavorful. The garlic mash & the kraut were so good together. The not so good: The meatloaf slices were so dry. You will be able to see it in the picture. 100% sliced pieces left into the fridge then reheated. The garlic mash was good, the wilted spinach tasted sour. The bad: The squash Wellington. I love and I mean love Brussel sprouts. These were sour like the spinach- was so odd. The presentation was very nice but the HUGE let down was the "flakey crust". It was anything but. This tasted like it had been made, refrigerated & then reheated in the microwave. I cannot be convinced otherwise. The color was there, as if it had been at one time crisp, but it was gummy and tasted like leftovers in an open fridge. The highlight was the squash inside. Dessert: We decided to try the raspberry tiramisu. The look of it was sloppy and off putting- favor was tart and good. Dessert drinks: Two martinis. One Espresso and one grasshopper. The grasshopper was as expected- chocolate mint. The Espresso wasn't the typical strong, bold rich flavored type you expect. It was like a heavily sugared Starbucks drink and alcohol. Not bad but not what a typical espresso martini is. Service: She was amazing, very nice and she was super busy. We did see another a worker hurt herself- she went to clean a table and prior, a male server had placed a wet floor sign (after a spill was cleaned up) a little bit hidden by a chair. When she rounded the corner, it caused her to step on it which it slid and I think she turned her ankle or hurt her knee. We hope she is ok!"
