"The bartender was super awesome. Great with places to visit throughout the city. The drinks were great. I have to say might be one of the best burgers I have ever had. Laid back atmosphere. I will be back for sure when in town."
"We went here for our anniversary and it was AMAZING! Amber was our server and she was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The gentleman filling our water glass and bussing our table was also incredibly nice. They had a small table in the corner for us with linens, champagne, and anniversary card from the staff. My husband and I both come from fine dining management and this place seems like a great operation . Overall GREAT experience! Visited 2/13/25"

"I really like this place. The chicken was very flavorful and moist, and dipping sauces were amazing. That green sauce was killer. Yum!!! I think this is definitely my favorite of the rotisserie chicken places around KY. The chicken here is not too salty and it tastes so fresh. I will definitely be back and recommend you try it too!"
"While looking for a breakfast/brunch spot close to where I was staying, I found Sleepy Bee was close by and had great reviews. Me and a couple of my coworkers decided to come here.It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. Everything sounded really good from the menu and looked really good from all the photos online. I got eggs, bacon, and chose to do a chocolate chip pancake on the side instead of toast. It was really good and the bacon had a sweet taste that made it so much better. Our server was nice and friendly. She gave us recommendations. The price was really good (we're coming from CA so comparing it to that). I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town."
"Stopped at The Exchange for lunch and everything from the food to the service was top notch. The burgers were great as was the beer. Kelsey was fantastic and she took excellent care of us. We will absolutely come back."
"Service was fantastic. It was clean, organized and everything we ordered was excellent. Definitely a level above for Bistro! Can't wait to go back"
"Pros: a lot of unique options. Not your traditional fair. The latte is probably the best item on the menu. A little spicy for those who are sensitive to heat. The Crown jewel which is macaroni and cheese and lobster was delicious but a little on the heavy side.Cons: the wait staff here, including bartenders are absolutely horrendous. A few weeks ago, we sat at the bar and the bartender literally acted like we were bothering her. We went this past weekend with friends, and our waiter was awful. We had to get his attention to order a second round of drinks and when we were finished and he asked us if we were all set, we said yes, and he just walked away. Rather than clearing the plates from our table, we sat with dirty dishes in front of our table until we flagged him down again to ask for our checks. Waiting at least 10 minutes to pay our bills. We ended up walking to the bar to pay them ourselves because he never came back to take our credit cards. We were a small group of 4. I can't imagine how long it would take to get anything with a larger group. If you don't mind terrible service, the food is pretty good."
"Taste of Belgium has a couple locations, but I can only speak for this one as I was only in town for a weekend for a wedding. First - parking is plenty as it's located in a shopping plaza. You might have to walk a bit, but certainly not hard to find a spot. Second - even on a Saturday at 11am, it didn't take us (a party of 5) more than 10 minutes to get seated. The place is lively, but not overcrowded, and the staff was both friendly and attentive. Onto the most important part: the food! You can't go to a place with Belgium in the name and not order Belgian waffles. The waffles are pretty small in size, they aren't American-sized for sure. We had the Strawberries and Cream waffle (with additional Nutella), Goetta Hash, Breakfast Plate, Omelette, and Chicken and Waffle. All was delicious! Things to point out: the sweet waffle was about palm-sized, and 70% whip-cream with a light drizzle of whip cream and thin layer of strawberries, haha. I was fine with it because I love cream, but your mileage may vary. For the chicken and waffle, this is their most popular dish and I understand why. I do recommend having the sauces on the side so you can portion as you like - I found the hot sauce much more overpowering than the syrup. Overall, a great brunch spot!"
"We were in town visiting with our pup and were looking for pet friendly restaurants to enjoy. It was down pouring outside when we got there and found out that our pup could dine with us inside. We were so surprised but our pup loved the experience. She sat quietly under the table and just enjoyed the folks saying hi to her and the music and lights. The staff was super friendly, and we got a few different things to try. I got a scrambler where everything was all in one vessel and it was delicious. I've never had a tomato gravy until this experience and it had a kick to it, but I enjoyed it. We will definitely be back when we're in town again!"
"Loved it!! Food was amazing, too much even. Service was nice, ambiance feels nice and cozy! Get the fried pickles. They're TO DIE for. I'm still thinking about it now.And thank you to the server asking if I want my Long Island "Kentucky Style""
"We visited FARMbloomjngton in June. It was our first-ever visit and we brought along two family members. We stopped in between lunch and dinner so the place was pretty empty. The hostess seemed unenthusiastic to be there. We were seated at a table near a front window and waited and waited and waited for our server. We waited so long that I said, let's give it another 5 min then we're outta here. Our server arrived with waters, and at that point we were ready to order drinks, and our meals. Our waiter was very nice and made up for the fact that we waited an eternity for him to come over. Like I said, maybe there were 6 other tables of guests while we were there. I don't know what the hold up was. My sandwich was pretty good. An 'LT' instead of a BLT. They didn't have a lot of options for vegetarians.Overall, I wouldn't come back here again. Just a tad too pretentious for me. Spent around $175 on 4 people + generous tip. Metered street parking is available.."
"The Black and Bleu Bison burger is on point. At my request, it was cooked to a perfect medium. The fries were hot, rustic and crispy. There is a good selection of microbrews on tap.One slight negative:Please quit touting your "house ketchup". It's a concoction that is way too sweet, fruity and has a weird aftertaste. As a matter of fact, I have yet to have any house ketchup that is as good as the old reliable, Heinz. Anyway, not a deal breaker by any stretch."

We recently visited Le Moo it was the first time after a long break. When we arrived I alerted the hostess that we had a reservation They offered us a toast of champagne while we waited to be seated. When the table was ready I was surprised to find that even with a reservation we found ourselves sitting in the bar area at a small two top. The waitress came over and asked if we'd like some Louisville tap as if thats somehow a premium offering lol. I guess compared to some places it is. We accepted and ordered. I got the steak Diane and wife got the pork chop which our waitress informed us was top grade pork and it was recommended to have it prepared medium -medium well.I was okay with the risk of Trichinosis just so the chop wasn't dry! The food came out after a short wait, we did the supervised please check temperatures of the meat cuts. I hate it when I'm looking at a steak I know is over cooked (not much, but not perfect) and we all know it. Then it's a matter of waiting another ten minutes while my partner eats to get it right ... so I nodded it was fine... and it was tasty. The "sides" mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms very nice but a bit sparse.. I guess from a cost vs quantity perspective.Steak was to me a bit overcooked the red center the waitress described as medium wasn't exactly the case. The chop was exactly as she suggested medium well-ish definitely pink in the center. Near the end a nice lady who I perceived could be in charge or possibly the owner came over and checked on us. That was cool. Server offered dessert we declined ticket wrapped up promptly. All and all the meal was solid and it's certainly a must try if you've never visited before. I'll try Le Moo again sometime down the road.

Great food and plenty of it, I had a small issue with them and they quickly made amends with a gift voucher and apology. Couldn't fault them for customer service. This place is a must to visit or even take out.

Been to a couple of their other locations which unfortunately I think some of them are closing. But here is a review of this location. It's very cute inside and very well thought out! Great ambience in that way. Jordan was our server and he was very helpful and making sure that we were taking care of. Overall I always just enjoy their burgers. They just make great burgers! My friend had the breakfast plate which he said was pretty good. He feels like he got enough food for what he wanted.Parking can be a little bit tough to find as there's only so much right out in front of the restaurant but there is a parking garage also behind that I'm not quite sure how to get to. But I know it's there. There's a lot of food options to choose from in this area but this is definitely a good one and I hope they stay open for a while. It sounds like the chain is having some problems these days. But I'm always happy with the food!

"We went at opening time and it was probably the same temperature inside that it was outside, about 50 degrees. We wore our coats the whole time. The food was hot, fresh and service was outstanding. I would want to try coming in after they have been open for awhile next time and see if the temperature is more moderate. 5 stars for the food, just took off a star because the temperature was uncomfortably cold even with the coats on."
"Took some out of town guests here for a late breakfast. Cute diner vibe, small and cozy restaurant. Food was very good and what I liked best is the servings were a normal size not the huge, expensive mountains of food most places now serve. I had four pecan waffles and the size was just right, fresh and tasty. Servers were pleasant and the place was clean. Lost a star because the coffee was luke warm, no matter how many times my cup was topped off the coffee was not hot."
"A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding. My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. With dessert I had a sauterne and really liked it as well. Our service was impeccable and Kyle coursed it out for us and did not miss a beat. The portions were also very nicely sized. We would definitely go back. I highly recommend."
"My wife and I have been here twice now and have heard mixed reviews from just about everyone, some people raving and others so disappointed with the food, the price. The good: service is on point. Friendly servers, host, and staff. Manager/supervisor came by to ask how we were doing. I appreciate that touch. The appetizers (especially Blue Dog bread!) were delicious and well done. The bad: the entrees are not that good. This last time we went and got the Caribbean chicken - my wife said it was the most disappointing meal she'd had all month (it was a short month :)). The other meal was better but for what we paid ($100 for both) it was not worth the money. The ambience is great. It's a hopping place."
"I have been to Bru Burger three times in a short amount of time. The service is always top notch and truly genuine. I have put in 27 years in the restaurant industry and trust me when I am impressed with service in today's restaurant culture please take note. My food is always something special from appetizers to dessert. I had the southerner burger on my last visit and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable with excellent service. Well worth every dollar."
"This is the best restaurant we've been to in Lexington thus far, excelling in all areas (food, service, and atmosphere). We appreciated their attention to detail in the dishes and drinks, their communication and attentiveness in service, and the calm, cozy environment that was neither loud nor rushed."
"This was a good brunch spot. The service was quick and the wait time wasn't too bad! The portions weren't huge which I appreciated. I wasn't wowed but overall a good experience."
"What an epic meal in every sense of the word!!!! The food, the service, the ambiance!!!Emily is a gem of a server, and the food was absolutely fantastic! So glad we were all in town for a conference to come here!"
"We went here for restaurant week and it was very good. First of all the restaurant is very big and it's very pretty. A little noisy but nice. We ordered the red wine braised short rib with horseradish mash potatoes and peas carrots and pearl onions. My sister got the meatloaf with green beans and carrots. The pomegranate martini excellent. The crème brûlée magnificent The only downfall the veggies. They were bland and felt like they were from a frozen bag."
"Love - Love -Love this place! My BlackBerry Lemonade was awesome (had 2, but I wasn't driving ), food was great, service was spot on and patio dining exactly what we were looking for this afternoon's late lunch. I do like seafood and always look to see what might be on the menu and it was a no brainer to get the Lobster Flatbread AND Shrimp & Grits for my husband & I. Both were amazing and our golden loved his grilled chicken breast. We had excellent service. So, awesome weather for patio dining - great food - awesome service. What's not to like?"
"The food... yum! Petite steak, chicken salad a delicious with vodka & lemonade. I would definitely come back when we're back in this area!"
"Nice spot at the top of the Hilton Garden Inn. Friendly service, good food. Lots of TV's inside for sports etc."
"In town for business and wanted a quick dinner. Saw GB nearby and stopped in early. I was greeted by friendly staff, seated quickly and got the scoop on their craft beer and before you know it, I've got a great drink and fish and chips in front of me. The beer was fantastic, a winterbock that was really smooth. Fish and chips were solid. Really nice experience and great value."
"I was in town on a work trip and a few of my colleagues and I decided to meet up for dinner my last night in Louisville. Fun fact: They have two locations, so just know that before you show up at the wrong one, lol. This restaurant is tucked comfortably in a small shopping strip, has a small patio with outdoor seating, a bar area with televisions, and a dining room area. The restaurant was absolutely freezing the day I visited and that tends to impact my ability to eat. While that wasn't something the staff could help me with, they were super friendly. Our waitress was even kind enough to help me charge up my cell phone battery during my meal. While all of that was solid, the food is what missed the mark for me. They are described as a mix of cajun and American food which was easily evident after reviewing the menu. I got a caesar salad, the crab cake appetizer with a side of vegetables as well as an old fashioned cocktail. My drink was alright, but not my favorite. The crab cakes were pretty good but the vegetables were cold and not seasoned well. My salad was huge with your typical caesar ingredients, but also not my favorite. I give this place a solid three stars because in my opinion it was just ok. But go ahead and visit and see for yourself!"
"Food and drinks were really good. So much food too! We had the 5-course tasting and portions were very generous. My group enjoyed the food.Only thing was everything came out super slow. Our meal took way over 3 hours. I had to ask if they could speed it up a bit as it was creeping towards 11pm (our reservation was 7.30pm). I thought the meal was very reasonably priced for what we got. Service was decent. Enjoyable all around!"
"I came here with a friend on Wednesday for dinner. We were able to sit outside and it was a wonderful meal. The waitress greated us by brining us water. I had the chicken parm and my friend got wings. We both got the sweet potato fries. All of the food was delicious! I would get the same thing all over again. The sweet potato fries are a must no matter what you order."
"I have lived near Bungalow Joe's for many years but for some reason this is my first visit and oh my gosh was I not disappointed! I got the Turkey Club and it was sooo amazing. The toast is nice and buttery but wasn't soggy, the sandwich was stuffed full of meat and the fries were amazing. To put things into context, this is rivaling my favorite club from my number one deli. I also loved how the dining area is mostly separate from the bar side. This keeps down the noise and makes it feel less like a sports bar and grill if you are only interested in going for the food. They do have 5 giant TVs on the dinning side of things as well.I will be back many times, and I cannot wait!"
"Great ambience = upscale but relaxed. Great service (Jennifer). This is oenophile's paradise. I do not typically drink wine but did a flight here and they were all excellent.Blackberry Old Fashioned was great as well; though I had to mix it so it was mixed very well at all.Deserts were all great, but their specialty is a blueberry-lemon cake that is phenomenal."
"Revisited Eppings for happy hour with a friend after my last experience a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. We got the around 4 :30 on a Thursday and were sat immediately. Our server Nigel was phenomenal and the food was better than I remember. The blue crab bisque is my favorite thing. You MUST order it! The small plates we ordered to share were: the rosemary focaccia, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, arugula and beet salad that was on special. Everything was tasty although some things did take a while to get to our table. There was some confusion with the desserts (I ordered a butterscotch bourdine that was on special but received a apple cake) so I won't review them but overall a lovely experience. Ask for Nigel."
"Adam was phenomenal. Great service and our meal was terrific! Will come back again. Thank you."
"I cannot say enough amazing ness about Mintons. I first came to Mintons last August for brunch and it holds a special place in my heart because it's where I told one of my closest friends I was pregnant. Fast forward to today with the same friend and we ate a delicious brunch. Today I opted for the savory French toast. Three large pieces of French toast with a delectable house made tomato jam, perfectly crisp bacon, and a delicious egg with pesto on it. The portion size is incredible for the price. Mintons is located right across the railroad tracks in an unassuming area but the inside is so cute with a chalk board having the menu on it. Space is small so get there early! But service is quick so your turnaround time is short. Of note, the French toast is so delicious that it's the only thing my almost toddler ate while feeling a bit under the weather with the umph she usually eats. Can't thank Mintons enough for that. The coffee is all you can drink! Take advantage!"
"A friend of mine just moved in nearby and said that we should try this place. I always thought it was a bit strange being a cafe underneath a giant old factory that I guess is now apartments? Anyway I never really paid much attention to it but we finally decided to go. They have a good amount of space once you get around the entrance wall and they use it well! Service was very nice and you could tell this was a place where the same people have worked at for quite a long time. I feel like their menu selection was very eclectic as well as appealing to what most people might want. I had the cavatappi with the vodka sauce and I added Italian sausage to it. My friend had their catfish. My cavatappi was amazing! With the vodka sauce as well as the slices of mozzarella cheese on top and sliced asparagus, it was just amazing and full of flavor and you really got a big portion of it. I almost couldn't eat the whole thing! Make sure to ask for a side of bread which does not cost extra to sop up more of that sauce. My friend had the catfish which was on top of one of their fried butter ball and sauce. Butter ball is probably the wrong word. But it was some sort of fried thing that the catfish was sitting on top of and he said it was excellent. Definitely want to return here and try some more of their amazing dishes!"
"The tacos have my whole heart!!!No seriously, after trying their Thanksgiving taco I have been raving about it to my husband. It got to the point where he told me to either stop talking about it or take him to get one. So we went and got one. Another taco of theirs I really like is the chipotle chicken one. I am a little ashamed to admit, but I've been here many times recently and I've gotten the Thanksgiving taco three of those times , there is just some thing about the zest in their cranberry sauce that really pulls it together. All that to say- I'm excited to come back and try even more of the taco combinations! This is a great place to stop in NuLu for a drink and snack, or you can make a meal out of the menu items. Around the holidays the bar turns into "miracle on market" and becomes a Christmas lovers dream. They usually post who is DJ'ing on their socials. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, food and drinks come out relatively quick even when the place is packed!Overall: check them out even if it's not the holidays, the fun tacos will hook your attention!"
