"Excellent service! We thought we wanted tacos Togo but they smelled so good we took a seat and ate them all before we left lol. We got a mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken tacos with and without guac. Sooo good! Glad Bowling Green is repping Mexican food well!"
"This is truly one of our happy places! From first greeting to prompt, polite and thorough service, to hot, tasty, and overflowing portions of our favorite Mexican dishes, Los Bravos is a great experience! My favorites are the Emparadilla Bravo (beef, chicken, chorizo sausage and shrimp simmered with tomatoes, peppers and onions) and Chicken Poblano (chicken breast with a special light green sauce with mixed veggies.) You will not leave hungry or unhappy!"
Shredded beef (served with cilantro, onion, limes, and a side of salsa). Add queso for an additional charge.

"I ordered a burrito with a drink, In total came out to be $14. I asked for a vinaigrette, and received less than an ounce. I understand food service is a lot, since I also work in food service. But chipotle is already pricey. Going the extra mile to under fill a vinaigrette because it annoys you is insane to me. This is what makes my meal. And I honestly won't be back to this location because of it. Why spend $14 on a simple meal somewhere, and they try to skimp you?"
"QUITE LITERALLY THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND. Fresh, amazing flavors. Fantastic & friendly service. The pollo tacos & burrito were 10/10 delicious."
"Happened upon this small food truck while out running errands. I decided to try the daily special which was a small chicken quesadilla and a drink for $9. While waiting for my food to be prepared, I noticed that the truck was very clean. Looked almost new. I was walking, so it was about 20 minutes before I actually ate my food. It travelled ok, but would likely be better with a shorter gap between ordering and eating. The quesadilla was a nice size. Good amount of chicken filling. I would have preferred a little more kick and maybe some fresh peppers. Maybe there was a hotter salsa option. I did not ask but will when I return. It came with a side of salsa verde and sour cream. Overall I'd say decent value. I'm full but not stuffed after eating this. If I'm in the area, I would go back."
"Consistently great food and service at an excellent price. Chips and salsa are always delivered in a timely manner, as are beverages. Food is prepared quickly and hot. All the employees are friendly and personable. This is my favorite Mexican lunch spot."
"My favorite spot to get fried tilapia, cooked carnitas and chicaron. They have plenty of produce selection-specially their giant avocados. I often get their pre chopped vegetables for caldos. It comes with peeled and cute potatoes, carrots, cilantro, and corn. The butcher is a great spot to get your ox tails and sausages. They also sell tamales here-my favorite is the chicken and the cheese."
"I went here for lunch and it was great. Great service, good price and the food was delicious! Probably the best taco salad I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa were good. Received my order quickly."
"Caught this orange food truck out of the corner of my eye and naturally I whipped a U'y to scope it out. Aha, taco truck! Score! What I stumbled upon was a one man show taco truck. A lot of menu items were sold out by the time I got there so I kinda had to settle for 2nd choice items. I ended up with a pastor taco and a couple Campechano's. For taking orders and cooking at the same time I was impressed, he didn't leave people standing around but kept food coming out. At first glance, the tacos took me back to my childhood when my mom would take me to Mexico and we would stop at the first taco cart we saw. Yes, cart not truck. Small simple tacos with just cilantro and onion. These were the gone in two or three bite tacos I remember that were so addicting that they're ordered one at a time as if it were a sampling menu. I could imagine this place on a dirt road in Tijuana bustling with groups of people shouting "Otro más!" While small, I do think the price is fair considering what you'd pay anywhere else and these were not skimpy. The pastor tacos were good, not dry as I find at most places. The campechano tacos had chorizo and steak. The steak was noticeably marinated and wasn't just chopped up bits of steak like you find at every Mexican restaurant you find around here. I still can't tell if the tortillas were hand made or bought. Either way, they were really good. They weren't bland and had a fresh masa taste to them. They also held up well and didn't fall apart after the first bite. The tomatillo sauce was great. Not overly salty and added freshness. IMO, tomatillo should complement not steal or ruin the show and this did just that. I may or may not be spoiled from my childhood in LA and ventures to Mexico so I can be a tough critic on tacos, but I also have a soft spot for nostalgia. I think anywhere else I might give this a three, but for this region, four stars easily. The tortillas were so good. The meat wasn't just a filler protein. Shockingly the tomatillo sauce wasn't over salted like most places. Overall, everything I had was good and stood out ingredient wise. I don't think it would crack any of top spots but this is so much better than what I am used to around here. Come hungry, come early, and don't go far. This is taco's but taco cart style, a la carte."
"I'd like to start 2020 off with a review of a restaurant I knew existed, had been near countless times, but had never taken the opportunity to eat at. And I am now kicking myself in the pants for taking so long.Mi Preferida Restuarante is tucked away in the back of the Mi Preferida Supermercado. We've been into the store countless time because it's relatively close to home and they have some items we can only find there (Jalapeño Tostada shells!) I'd noticed the taqueria in the back but never really gave it much thought because sometimes Jim can be pretty narrowly focused and I didn't walk in to eat, I walked in to buy.On a recent Friday we stopped in to get a couple things (you guessed it, Jalapeño Tostada shells) and we hadn't decided where we were going to have dinner yet. When we walked in the door I noticed the arched doorway in the back and said to wifey "Wifey. What do you think about eating dinner here?". She said "Why not! We haven't eaten here before")Why we waited so long I don't know, but now I'm kicking myself for it.Mi Preferida isn't big on decor, being nestled in the back of a grocery store, but it's all about the food, and the food is amazingly authentic and amazingly awesome. And they have glass bottle beverages. Pepsi in a glass bottle is FAR superior to the stuff you get in cans and plastic bottles these days. I love the complete transparency of this restaurant. You can see the entirety of the operation when you walk up to the counter. The food prep area, the grills, the steam tables. It's all there in plain site, so there's no mystery about what you're getting and how it's being prepared. And the food is AB-so-lutely genuine and delicious. So it's not the fanciest Mexican restaurant in town, but it is some of the most authentic, genuine Mexican you'll find in town."
"Tucked away behind the Mexican grocery store, the small, very authentic restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve beer. Cantina atmosphere."
"Had this place on my list for a while! We ordered for lunch then came to pick up.It looks like they also sell snacks, drinks, a few other groceries, and hats. It's a small space but it wasn't busy when we came. There were booths open inside and a picnic table with two guys sitting outside. My friends got tacos. Carne asada, pollo, and chorizo. They thought they were decent. The pollo and carne asada were a bit dry. My sister thought the chorizo was the best out of the others. The salsa and sour cream helped though. The salsa was very spicy! But super good and flavorful. Loved it!I got a carne asada burrito. It was large! I only ate half. It had rice, cheese, beans, lettuce. It wasn't bad. But the carne asada was a bit dry for me too though the filling helped to combat that.Prices werent bad though. $11 for the burrito and $4 per taco isn't terrible for inflation.Parking was a little odd. They share the parking lot with other businesses. There were lots of spots open but it's not a large lot. It could get filled pretty fast."

Would have given 3.5 stars but had homemade tortillas for the tacos. Typical slow service but not out of the ordinary. I ordered three carnitas tacos and a plate of rice and beans. Tacos came Mexican style but the onions had been grilled. Side garnish of red onion and, charred jalapeño and some sliced radish's The carnitas was a tad salty. The received refried beans were dense and had good flavor. The rice was plain but not dry and also had good flavor. Chips were good but salsa lacked ingredients and flavor.

There are my visit to the city of Jasper while I was training and Jasper Engines and Transmission. I had opportunity to visit this location several times, and the times that I came in the service was great food not to say it was excellent.

Picked up in the chipotlane. Quesadilla was great, but the chips were overcooked and didn't taste right. Only writing a review because I went to this chipotle about a week ago and it was the same thing with the chips. Looked past it last time as a one time mess up or something but now that it's happened again... I'm thinking this chipotle needs to get it together. No excuse for over cooked chips.

Been back here several times. The first time I had their stuff it was at an event but they're typically stationed in the Shell gas station lot. They are a reliable spot to get some tasty, authentic tacos. They have a nice variety of options and you can pick and choose to make a nice combination of tacos for $3-$4 per taco. The men in the truck are kind and helpful. I appreciate the picnic tables that you can eat at or hang out at while waiting for the food to cook.

Wow I was very impressed by this food truck. Food was great and fast. Honestly this might be my favorite tacos in Cincinnati. The tacos are reasonably priced and the hot sauce is straight FIRE!

We discovered Jalapeños thirty years ago and at that time it was hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Absolutely authentic, amazing food and consistent quality. We moved to the northern part of the state 25 years ago, but were able to enjoy a location there for several years until it closed. We missed it and could never find a suitable replacement. Now, decades later, we're still visiting the remaining location and enjoying the same great food, friendly atmosphere and service, and the same amazing authentic recipes as at the beginning. Jalapeños is a Lexington institution. All the others are just wannabes.

Amazing! The best selection of produce, a huge section with dried chiles, a bakery, and chicharrones for days. Counter in the back for tortas made to order and a restaurant within.

"This by far is my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat it in Radcliff. The drinks a large the staff is funny and the food is absolutely amazing. I went three times in one week and was never disappointed. My friends and I enjoyed coming to have drinks and always left satisfied with full bellies."
"My family and I stopped in here for dinner on a Thursday evening. It was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. The waitress was very nice and brought the free chips and salsa out quickly. We had some great tacos and I enjoyed my burrito meal. They continued to refill the drinks and the salsa so that was great. This is a very nice Mexican restaurant that we will be back for again"
"We stopped here when in Frankfort and we were welcomed in although it was about 45 minutes before close. The top shelf margaritas were fantastic, the chips and salsa were great, as were our entrees! This will be my go to place for Mexican whenever I'm in Frankfort."
"Super yummy Mexican. Some of the best I've ever had. Currently living in Wisconsin and here to visit for a day. I would recommend this place to anyone."
"In a gas station parking lot you will typically find the best food. This taco truck was legit. Best tacos I've ever had. The tortillas were so good and made all the difference. Thank you for staying open so late!"
"I secretly wanted to keep this little Mexican restaurant to myself, but I believe good food is meant to be shared. The quality of the food at this restaurant is top notch and super authentic. The green verde sauce is 100. Food came out quickly and was full of fresh ingredients. Portions were very generous and the service was efficient. The restrooms are clean, which is not always the case with small local restaurants. I'd certainly come back!"
"I have noticed El Bracero right beside the freeway in Owensboro. I had done some research on it and it sounded intriguing enough to give it a try. It turns out that it is in a old Logan's Roadhouse. The salsa was good but on the more vinegar side. My sweet tea was refreshingly sweet. For my entree, I went with the Mexican Flag Enchiladas since I'm a sauceaholic. The Enchiladas came stuffed with chicken with one with salsa Verde, another with Ranchero, and another with cheese sauce. The chicken was marinated and seasoned but it was on the dry side. The meal does come with a Mexican salad of sour cream, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and that waste of space - lettuce. Rice came with the entree. The Enchiladas needed more of something in my opinion but they were all right.I would estimate here again but it's also another run of the mill Mexican restaurant in a old Logan's."
"Really great restaurant. I had a chorizo super burrito, and my wife had a chicken quesadilla. It was delicious. The portions were large, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was really welcoming and friendly and everything was cooked up in front of us. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Delicious!!"
"Stopped by the other night and grabbed a few tacos. The lady at the window was really nice and took my order. It took maybe 3-4 minutes to get the tacos ( it felt like forever because it was really really cold and my brilliant self had shorts and a tshirt on lol so that's on me!) so they wait wasn't very long at all.. so I drove home dying to try them and when I finally got to eat them I was amazed at just how good it really was.. I will be going back, probably tonight lol"
"This place is straight fire. If you come here you just eat the Mexican style tacos. That is what this place is known for. I have tried a handful of things on the menu and nothing is as good as the tacos here. The tacos is what they are known for. you have to pay for chips and salsa. The service can be a little off sometimes. But it's no big deal."
"Very good family owned Mexican restaurant! You will miss it if you are not looking for it but I would definitely choose again! They had a very nice food selection and their quesadilla selection had much more than the usual cheese or meat options. Both of us ended up getting quesadillas (spinach and the fajita) that were both freaking delicious and filling! The salsa that came with the chips had plenty of flavor and kiddos loved their fries and hot dog. Our server was very nice and our food came out quickly. They had a full bar with an assortment of drinks and even had a fun non alcoholic drink that I want to try next time we go!"
"I have been here a few times. Three of the times just consisted of chips and salsa and beer. Finally I ate some real food. They have a ton of options and all of which seemed great. I took the waiters opinion on what to buy. It was a great choice. The service was spot on and the place was clean. It wasn't overly crowded at the times I stopped in here which made it great for me and my friends. The food came quickly and the drinks kept flowing. I have to give it to the staff on this one for being so on point. If you want quick and friendly service, stop in here. They are great."
"Well we found a new favorite here and it is one of the best dishes in Columbus. The TORTA CARNE AL VAPOR is amazing, with shredded beef that is deliciously moist and tender. It is truly a must try. As always, expect fantastic service from people who care about great authentic food."
"Mama Tequila is an interesting concept by the same folks that own El Rancho Tapatio. Mexican restaurant by day and then at 10pm converts into a full blown dance club. I was intrigued to try it out but finding a menu online was a chore as they don't really seem to promote their food offerings anywhere. If you are looking for basket after basket of chips and salsa you'll want to look elsewhere. Chips and salsa are on the menu but are a paid appetizer. I've saw other reviews mention lime margaritas but the menu we were given only had more upscale cocktails which was a bit odd compared to a menu of everyday Mexican entrees. Being a new restaurant they are still working out some service kinks but nothing that was an issue. While the food was good, it is likely a one and done for me unless I'm in the area for an event and just can't do without some tacos. Overall though it was nothing exceptional so not worth paying the downtown location markup on prices vs just going to their other location."
"Place gets better every time and prices stay consistent. Love the shrimp & Masita de puerco tacos (corn tortillas). Service friendly and quick."
"Mexican food, I am a fan. I love to eat it and cook it. Recently I discovered a new mexican restaurant and a market in Southern Louisville. The market is clean and well stocked with an extensive meat counter and produce section. The prices are on target and the service is helpful and friendly. I purchased some delicious, freshly made tamales for $1 each. Finding a local resource for my latin cooking needs puts a smile on my face and happiness in my belly."
"When looking for this location just look for the church next to it. The sign doesn't stand out and you might just miss this hot spot. I am a huge fan of my mothers cooking. Growing up I had, Mole, barbacoa and menudo. I've tried them all at so many places, but they just don't seem to get it right. I'm guessing because they make them in a hurry or cut corners abs just all in all don't care. But when I sunk my teeth into the barbacoa tacos I was taken back in time to when my mom would cook them for me when I was a child and what trip it was! It's like I was back home eating freshly made tortillas with barbacoa. It's the kind of feeling that make your whole body do a happy shake. You know the kind. When you have just hit that spot in your belly , mouth and mind. The mole was soo on point that I ate it all! I licked the plate clean. Yes I licked it clean. That's how good it was! If you have never had mole then you are missing out. Then again it is an acquired taste. If you want to make the drive out to this little divine place where the food taste like it was made with a little love, the. This is your place. Now if your wanting to visit on a Sunday be prepared to wait over an hour. It's small little destination restaurant. But it's so well worth the wait. You could always go during the week where it's not so busy and you can be in and out. This place may be small but the taste of the food packs a punch in your mouth so good it will leave you wanting more. I mean I did. I've been back 3 times already and having it for dinner tonight. If your looking for authentic food, then this is your place! If your still not sure based on Thai review then just go and try it out for yourself. Your mouth will thank me! Also take care of the servers as they work so hard to take care of you."
"My last review for this place was mediocre at best and in it I stated how I felt this place used to be a lot better. Based on my most recent visit, either that last visit was an outlier or Acapulco is on the upswing again. The menu is standard but there are some goodies to be found and from what I can tell they do the standards well. The salsa is solid and if you're not a cilantro fan it doesn't taste as if that's present. The house-made hot sauce is delicious though--order some and mix it in with the salsa to give it a kick or if you like it really spicy, try it straight.I had the carnitas this time around and they were delicious--slow cooked, flavorful, juicy, simple and straightforward. They served them with fresh soft tortillas so I was able to assemble 3 tacos with fresh pork, guacamole (served on the platter), fresh tomatoes, and some of that house hot sauce. I also added a tamale on the side to see how they did those, and it was a larger tamale than expected but very good and slathered in red sauce AND queso. My dining partner had a very complicated and picky order and they handled her requests perfectly. The service was super-friendly--fast, kind, efficient. They checked on us often (but not overbearingly) and even provided freebies!I mentioned last time it felt like it could use a clean-up and some lighting--this time around, everything was well lit and clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. While I didn't partake, I noticed the happy-hour sign on the way to he rest room and it's ridiculously cheap ($3 mugs of import beer, 2 for 1 margaritas, $4 tequila sunrise, etc.)."
"Great service, friendly staff. So many Mexican plates to choose from. This is not Tex Mex. Guacamole was fresh, food was hot. One coworker ordered fish tacos, I had Enchiladas Supremas and I consumed every bite. If you're in the more head area, give this place a try."
"Every time I come it seems to get better. I love the veggie fajitas, they were SO flavourful, there was so much, they felt really clean and healthy. I really enjoyed it. The chorizo quesadilla also just yum!!! I love the salsa and find it to be a little spicy - yum. The service is great, they take care of you, the restaurants feels like you're in a Mexican restaurant in America. I recommend."
"First time trying this place out. I didn't even know about it until I saw someone post a nasty review about the workers on one of our county pages. So I knew I had to try it and make my own assumptions. And I absolutely loved it. The staff is super friendly. Very authentic Mexican food. I got the 2 enchiladas and chalupa. Never had a chalupa and didn't know what to expect. Wasn't my favorite but that's because I'm more of a burrito girl. Over all great service and delicious food. I will be returning!"
"Absolutely fantastic! I was sorry to hear of the demise of El Catrin, but this place is just as good, if not better. Do yourself a favor and go."
"This is a new taco stand in our neighborhood. It's nice to have food options near our home besides fast food. You order at window and they bring food out it takes 10-15 mins to cook your order. My mom order the sandwich and I ordered the chicken salad. It was good. Could have been more meat on sandwich and more lettuce in salad. Freshly made."
