Everything was very delicious and very filling, I couldn't eat the pita bread the sandwich came on so I just added to my salad. Super tasty! Definitely worth coming here if you're in the area. Great Mediterranean food and the staff here was super friendly and helpful. I will return next time I'm in Richmond."

We are all fans of Greek food and Mirage did not disappoint. We had quick and friendly service with a fantastic lunch spread. We tried a little bit of everything--hummus with hot pita bread, baba ghanoush, chicken Shawarma, falafel. All tasted fresh and delicious."

We ordered a few items and everything was delicious. It took some time for the food, but that was fine because it was worth it. The portion size was pretty big so bring your appetite. There was only one person prepping the food from what we could tell. The staff were all friendly. If I'm back in the area I'd definitely go here again."

The service was order at the window and pickup at the other end when done. Food was very tasty, hot, and prepared in a timely manner. The dining area was simple and very Mediterranean. The food was a little pricey but I will be making a return trip."

It became routine for me to travel back up to Chicago and have my gyro sandwich. 20 years later and I'm still looking to get my gyro fix. We were in the mall shopping and saw this location was open. The gentleman greeted us quickly and told us their special. We got gyro combo with tzaziki and on pita bread with fries. The combo came with plenty of gyro meat, which I loved. I ordered mines topped with lettuce tomato and onion. I should've had him go light on onion but I still enjoyed my gyro very much. If you'd like gyro or chicken pita stop in."

Dan S. "This restaurant can get really loud in the dining room. When were sat, it was so deafening that I decided to get up to leave. Fortunately, there was an available table in the quiet area near the bar. The drinks were passable. The food portions were huge and satisfying, but not memorable. They cook with heavy ingredients and plenty of butter. I felt distended after only eating half the food on my plate."

The proteins were cooked well and the dishes were also well balanced with large portions (honestly could easily share some of the platters). The interior was clean and neat. While I got takeout there was some seating available inside for small or slightly larger groups despite the whole shop being on the smaller side. The service was incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. Pricing was also very fair especially when considering freshness and portion sizes. Would definitely recommend and will be returning"

I decided on doing the steak bowl with rice, tomatoes, diced cucumber, feta cheese, & black olives. Then came the big variety of sauce choices! Instead of the traditional Taziki sauce I opted to try the garlic sauce and oh my heavens it was fabulous mixed into my steak bowl! Fast and friendly service, large portion of food, super clean and spacious dining area! I'll be returning here often!"

Jennifer R. "Aladdin's is a hidden gem, tucked away in a cute little "underground" area in New Albany. Honestly if it wasn't for Yelp I don't think we would have ever came across it on our own, and that would have been a tragedy. The doors were clearly marked that there was no service, you can dine in but your food would be given to you as if it was to go. I personally love this concept, it makes for an easy getaway when I'm ready to go. You order, you pay, boom the hard parts done, there is no waiting around for the check and take out boxes at the end of your meal, love it. I will say I'm not a fan of the extra waste this method produces but that's the only down side. Alright now for what we've all been waiting for...the food. I have to start by saying HOLY MOLY! I was not expecting to get one of the best steak sandwiches of my life there, but it happened.I had the Aladdin's steak sandwich (minus the green peppers add tomatoes and lettuce) and it was perfect. It actually got better the more I ate, no diminishing returns here. The juice from the meat mixed with the mayo on the pita bread...YUM! It was great, made me wish I lived closer to New Albany. I have a feeling I'm going to be making a lot of trips over the bridge this summer. The man behind the counter (I'm assuming the owner) was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to go back and I highly suggest you go try them out as well!"

Issam A. "First off, as an Arab my word on this type of cuisine is gospel. Got it? Good? Awesome, let's get this review started.Jokes aside, I have a definitely soft spot for Arabic street food. Shawarma, falafel and hummus are all favorites of mine and there is nostalgia there. It's definitely something I look at under the magnifying glass. Don't get me wrong there's plenty of places that can scratch that itch for me here in Lexington, but I am more than happy to claim Zaki is the real deal and has by far my favorite, both with its flavors and authenticity. I took some coworkers of mine to try it out today, and this may have been 3rd time. I got a chicken shawarma wrap, a couple of orders of falafel and hummus to share and everything was a hit with my self and my coworkers whom have never had the cuisine before. Starting with my wrap, the chicken was juicy and flavorful, complimented well but the garlic and spicy sauce, as well as, pickles. The falafels were perfection, fried perfectly and bursting with the flavor of chickpeas and parsley, as well as the sumac the was added on after, please go out of your way to try falafel if you never have. Finally the hummus, another light compliment to everything, the dip was smooth and flavorful. I've only met a couple of the people that work there and each time they have gone out of their way to cater to myself and the people I have brought with me. I appreciate them each time. The location itself is not the best right off the Georgetown exit, but the building is colorful. There isn't much anywhere to sit, which I could see rubbing people the wrong way but personally I am used to it. That said that is my only sour note on a fantastic place to eat. Please, if you've ever wanted to try Arabic food, I highly recommend you try this place out and if you're a fellow Arab looking for something close to home, this is the place."

Ulyana K. "I loved this place. The food is fantastic. The ambiance is very relaxed and nothing fancy at all. Very high quality food though and the portions for the main meal were huge (probably enough for 2 meals for the majority of people). I tried the kufta and chicken plate (with hummus, rice, and salad) as well as the baklava. The chicken was super tender and delicious. The garlic oil sauce gave it extra moisture, but it was already great the way it is. Cooked to perfection. The chunks are a bit big, but easy to eat.The kufta was equally delicious. It had a bit more seasoning than the chicken, which I liked. Once again, great flavors. They give you a fair amount of rice which is very fluffy and well cooked. It came with a vibrant little salad. It was fine, nothing too crazy. I really liked their take on croutons. They were more crispy than the average crouton and added a ton of savory flavor. The baklava was pretty good. Probably not the best I've ever had, but still solid. The price is very reasonable. I would have liked a more sweet and syrupy baklava.Really what set this place apart from others was the service. I was trying to find this place and randomly ran into the owner, who helped me find it. He was very nice and talked to me about his life, the restaurant, the food, and his experiences in Pittsburgh. He even gave me a free drink! What a great guy.All in all, I highly recommend this place. It's run by awesome people and the food is also super tasty. I share an order of Greek Fries, where the fries are crispy, and the feta is delish. I usually go with my mother, who is a strict vegetarian, and she gets the Vegetarian Platter. The platter is fresh, and plentiful. As always, we bring home the food for leftovers, because they are so generous with their portions. The customer service is impeccable. We were checked on several times to see if the food was good, or if we needed anything. The nice gentleman told us he was happy we loved the food, because they make it with love. It definitely shows. Jeff D. "Sam's Gyros is a hidden gem tucked into an average looking strip mall in Bowling Green, KY. My big regret about Sam's is that though I've spent months in Bowling Green, I hadn't tried Sam's until last week. Well, after my first visit, it's safe to say I've found one of my new Bowling Green Staples!Because of its nondescript location, it can be easy to overlook Sam's as just another restaurant in a sea of restaurants in a bustling College Town. However you'll find that it's often recommended both online and by locals as one of the ideal spots for a Mediterranean lunch. The menu is refreshingly simple, and offers most (if not all) of the entrees for less than $10. The ingredients are basic, but pack a punch where they're needed the most, taste and value. As a dining experience, it's no-frills, and honestly that's not at all a bad thing.Keto/ Low Carb Folks: I'd recommend going for a Chicken or Beef Greek Salad (It's even advertised as 0 carbs!). While there can certainly be some sneaky carbs in this dish, it easily fits what you're looking for in a Keto Meal. Overall, if you're looking for quick, high-value, low-cost, simple and tasty Mediterranean meal in BG, you owe it to yourself to give Sam's Gyros a try!"

There's not many Mediterranean, much less Turkish, places in Indiana so it was great to see this open in the area. The restaurant has multiple levels out outdoor seating terraces overlooking the river. It was especially nice right at sunset. They had a nice selection of appetizers and traditional/classic Turkish meals as well as a few basic meat dishes that wouldn't throw of someone new to Turkish food. The waitstaff was very professional and friendly. I could tell they were still working out a few kinks being open less than a month, but all in all the service was good. I enjoyed the flavors of everything we tried. The interior of the restaurant had these complex water/bubble lighted walls. It looked kind of cool but maybe a smidge overdone or trying to be fancy, but accidentally over the top. Food was reasonably priced. I don't like when places don't have prices on their cocktail menu and that was the case here. It's weird. Definitely will plan to come back and try other dishes!"
