"Sarang is a lovely compact, family-owned Korean restaurant perched on the corner of Bardstown and Eastern Parkway. The menu is available both as a large, overhead display in picture form and in trifold fliers, depending on how one best prefers to make decisions.Order at the counter, then choose one of the tables at which to await the delights which will soon arrive. The staff is quite knowledgeable about the menu items, including which contain a variety of potential allergens/common foods people avoid. Of note - one of the kimchis is vegan (cucumber) and they do offer a vegan ramyun which you should definitely try. As they were pretty steady the night we dined they hadj run out of jap chae, so I opted for veganized bibimbap (yes tofu, no egg). The veggie and kim-mari mandoo are also vegan, however the soondobu jigae is made with oyster sauce, so keep that in mind if trying to stay plant based.Pricing is quite reasonable for the quality and the amount of food, and the owner is just delightful. Although I'm sad I didn't get to try the jap chae this time, it does give me an excellent reason to return."
"I forgot how much I love this place. It is tucked into the bottom of an office building off of Bishop Lane. And if you didn't know it was here you might not ever find it.!The stone be bimbop is amazing as is any of their kimchi choices such as the kimchi pancake !I would recommend going early as the place can get crowded. The wait staff is very helpful and can help you make a good choice if you cannot choose from the many different options that are available."

"A family owned spot that seems to cater its taste for Asian foods in Chinese, Korean and Japanese with a bit of Thai. Very home styled recipes very delicious. Worth a try so far. I really like a place that serves quality tea that's a big plus. The bibimbap was ok the hot pot didn't manage to crisp the bottom enough and the egg wasn't runny enough and the pepper paste (Gochujang) was not to be found However it was quite delusions Service 4 stars polite and very helpful Atmosphere 3 stars quaint, a bit dark but quite intimate with a family or friend group. Price: $$$ a bit highBathrooms 2 stars"
"Having been to Gogi 1055 on Bardstown rd, this just may be my new favorite Korean restaurant. Located off of Preston highway in a shopping plaza, I highly recommend checking this place out. No reservations are needed. You walk in and are asked if you want to do the BBQ or regular dine in. Of course my friend and I chose the BBQ. The table is equipped with a gas burner stove and hood just above the table. For the bbq, you do have to choose a minimum of two meats, we chose the pork belly and bulgogi. For our appetizer, we went with the tteokboki (rice cakes). Despite how busy it was and there only being one waitress service did not lack. Our tteokboki was brought first, not for the faint it can be pretty spicy. Next followed the banchan with the types of meat we chose that we began cooking. The bulgogi was to die for. The entire meal amazing! Definitely come check this place out!"
"What a hidden gem. I have always driven past this restaurant but will no longer. Great atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic service. You can order from the kitchen, or order for the grill and cook your own. So many options and an excellent experience!"
"The spicy pork at lunch is fantastic. The people are helpful and courteous. I lien eating at a family restaurant with good food and good people. I come to Radcliff, KY about once a month and I always stop here."

Sarang is a great local Korean place on Bardstown Rd. They have parking in the back and the restaurant itself is pretty small. The service and food are amazing. My go-tos are the Beef Bulgogi, Bibimbap, and Korean fried chicken. They have very flavorful and fresh kimchi that comes with bulgogi and bibimbap. Staff is very friendly and I would highly recommend getting takeout- always fast and fresh.

Superb service, nice atmosphere, and delicious food recommendations from my server! Vegetarians! Non-vegetarians! Try the Kim Chee tofu appetizer and the entree with sweet potato noodles! You're welcome! It was also my first time trying Korean tea and I love it! Smells and tastes so good! So comforting on this cold, winter night. I can hardly wait to try their other vegetarian dishes!

Very good hot pot. If you like really spicy food get the spicy seafood, but be forewarned that it is extremely spicy. My husband and I both ordered or own which was a mistake. One order is plenty to share.

My friends and I went to Koreana III today, it was my first time there but not my first time having Korean BBQ. The food was delicious, we each ordered off the BBG menu: chicken bulgogi, Beef Bulgogi and Pork Belly. It came with white rice and sides. We were so full and satisfied with that but the hostess made fat phobic comments to me when I was eating my food. The restaurant wasn't crowded but the waitress/hostess let us know that the kitchen was busy which we were okay with but also the wait wasn't unreasonable. The place was clean would probably do better with more staff and training of said stuff on how not to me fat phobic jerks. For the reasons mentioned above I don't think I'll go back but I wouldn't mind eating their food again, the kitchen staff did a phenomenal job.

Stellar food. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten here. It is a bit pricy, but well worth it. On my most recent visit I got the Bibimbap. You can pay a little extra to get it in a heated stone bowl. It really does add to the dish because the bowl will crisp up some of the rice. They always give a variety of kimchi for the table to share as well. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner!

We had another enjoyable meal here this evening! If you've never been, let me start by saying they have all kinds of cooked food as well as raw sushi! I've been surprised to learn how many folks didn't know that. They have several Japanese and Korean dishes we like. Tonight our group had: vegetable and shrimp tempura- it was enjoyed so much as an appetizer, two people got it as an entree; calamari- super tender; chicken katsu and vegetables- great Korean style bbq sauce; tuna tataki- lightly seared tuna on a bed of greens; 3 different sushi rolls and fried rice. Service is always pleasant and it's an enjoyable experience out. Not too noisy and can accommodate medium size groups. Something different right in Oldham County. I recommend a reservation on weekends as it is a small place and can get crowded quickly.

If you are looking for authentic Korean food then Mama's is the place to go. We were traveling through on our way home and I'm glad we stopped here. Not only do they have a great banchan that comes with every meal, but the food itself is to die for. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu if you love Korean food. They also have the grill side, which we will definitely have to try next time we go though..

"One of our FAVORITE spots for takeaway! Their team is just so awesome and friendly and their food is GREAT! I'm a big fan of cooked sushi. The moonlight roll is my all time favorite! Highly recommend!"
"This place was good.It was after our hike nearby and we all had a craving for korean food and yes it did hit the spot Being Korean I have pretty high standards for Korean food. It is authentic and has a great taste. For one of my friends it was her first time trying Korean food and she really enjoyed it along with a green grape juice with chunks in them that was definitely part of my childhood We got the bibimbap, seafood soft tofu soup & stir fry squid (which I love). All of the dishes were good which is why I'm not surprised they have 2 locations! I might not come back to this location unless I'm camping out here again as I live over an hour away but I will probably go back to their other location which is closer to home"
"Love this sweet little spot providing authentic Korean as well as some fun takes on Korean-American foods! The interior isn't particularly exciting, but I typically order to go. Last night I enjoyed the kimchi bacon fried rice. It was ready within 10 minutes of calling, and the family that runs the place is always incredibly kind. The kimchi's sourness is wonderfully contrasted by the fatty bacon pieces. It also came with two small traditional Korean sides (kimchi and a rotating dish that appeared to be a radish salad). Will definitely be back when I'm in town!"
"Pretty good fried chicken! They have a choice of drumsticks, tenders or wings. Meals come with your choice of rice or pickled beets. I got the spicy garlic wings. They had a little kick but not near as spicy as I was expecting. I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for spice so don't let me be the judge of that lol but I will go for the hottest they have next time. Service was friendly & fast. You order at the counter, get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. When you're finished you throw away your things & set your tray on the trash can. Place is spacious & has three different areas for seating. Cool, casual & comfortable. Glad we stopped in. Oh, we liked their onion rings & the pickled beets. The pickled beets had a coleslaw style flavor. My mom & I were pleasantly surprised. So light & refreshing. If you're fan of boba & sweets they have plenty of options to choose from."
"Yum!It took me long enough to finally try FOB!And that occasion finally happened at the 2019 Old Lou Craft Beer Fest. There were several tasty looking and sounding food truck options there, but I wanted Korean tacos. So I bee-lined right to the window to order. I got two, one pork and one beef. They all come with lettuce, and you get to choose two other toppings per taco. I got one with kimchi and one with the spicy radish, both topped off with sour cream (in case the other toppings were too spicy for my stupidly delicate palate, the sour cream could help with that). The food was made quickly and ready to eat in no time. And it was delicious! The flour tortillas got soggy pretty quick and made eating messy. But as long as the food still tastes great...I can't really be mad!Super tasty, prepared quickly, and very reasonably priced! Why on Earth did it take me so long? And when do I get to eat from them again?!"
"Yummy food for a reasonable price! This local eatery has delicious bento boxes, sushi, and lots of internal seating. We were able to quickly order, find a seat, and eat at 6:30pm on Friday. The food was fresh, yummy, and the perfect portion."
"Food Lab is owned by the same people who own Star Sushi, which I LOVE! I'll start by saying that I'm not super into Korean food, so I figured I wouldn't be very impressed. We ordered the three Korean Corn Dogs which I figured I would like, I didn't. My friends son loved everything he tried, he's 7! My son didn't, also 7. My husband and I got ramen but it's was spicy! No warning, flavor was okay but too spicy for me to eat. Overall, if you like to try new foods, love a good ambience and need a new place, try it! I rated it high because it was nice, clean, friendly and cute. I'm not giving it a poor rating when I knew I wouldn't love it."
"Really good food with great service. Our server answered our questions and even gave us directions on how best to eat our food in the traditional way. We'll be back!!"
