"During my last visit to Dragon King's Daughter I ordered the stuffed Wontons, the Pork Steamed Buns and two sushi rolls. The Bao Buns were amazingly delicious! The stuffed Wontons were extremely scrumptious as well. Unfortunately the sushi (which should have been the star) fell flat. The "Sushi & The Banshees" roll was okay. Sadly the "My Neighbor Toto Toro" roll was rather lackluster. I had my friends give it a try as well and none of us were impressed. Overall I would say that the appetizers were so much better than the sushi itself which was a bit disappointing. The service was great, the drinks were as well and the atmosphere was welcoming, modern and warm."

However, since I was getting my food to go, the rundown exterior and interior did not bother me.I called in my order, and the employee who took it was kind and efficient. It took about 20 minutes for my order to be ready, which was perfectly fine. Parking was a bit tricky on a Friday night; I had to park four blocks away, but that's to be expected on a weekend. Osaka is a solid neighborhood staple."

We forgot to call for a reservation, so we arrived on a Saturday right at open. We were glad we did, as the room filled up while we were there. This is our go to for this style of food!"

Located in Middletown Bento is located close to Crumble Cookie, Feeders Supply Walmart. The staff are so nice and it's super clean. I like how they bring your food in to go containers because the amount is so much. Just put your lid on and take off. Perfect. My son ordered Orange Chicken with Lo Mein which was quite tasty as well. Don't forget to grab a fortune cookie on your way out. I'll be back soon I'm sure. I can't stay away!"

"Okay, listen. I *wish* that I could tell you more about this experience but they had this drink special called a "Mistletoe Margarita" and I had like four of them, maybe five...so...That all started because they made us wait until our entire party of ten people was in the building before they would seat us. So, because I had to sit in the very cold vestibule, I had to imbibe to warm myself. Tequila makes me wanna fight so the bartender and I agreed that substituting vodka was the smartest play for all concerned. A solid decision. The drink was delicious and nobody got hurt. The company was fantastic and the food was good. There was a lot of activity going on and it was difficult to keep up with the conversation in that seating format. I'm pretty sure that I was supposed to be paying attention to the chef, anyway. Either way, it was fun and I enjoyed the experience."

"Ft. Fuji is a favorite spot for many near UofL's campus. The hibachi is probably the most popular, but they also have some sushi rolls and a variety of other dishes. You can order online, call ahead, and just order in store for carry-out or dine-in. Regardless, they move pretty quickly, and you'll get to eating before you know it. I personally always get two yum yum sauces, and if I'm treating myself, I'll get a bubble tea as well (it's not my favorite, but I like it)! Parking can be a little limited over that way, and definitely don't park at the strip mall across the street. There are meters around though! It's a nice place to grab a casual but tasty lunch or dinner from!"

"Really great hole-in-the-wall ambiance! There were a couple larger groups here and a few other customers coming in and out. But it doesn't seem as well known.They do have a parking lot at the back, but we parked over by the funeral home since spots fill up quickly.It's a bit confusing to figure out. We didn't know where the host stand was since we didn't realize there were two entrances. We entered the door off the street, but the host stand is on the other side of the room. The entrance on that end leads to the parking lot. And the room is small. So it gets cramped if you're waiting at the host stand just standing wherever. We did get seated right away.The service was quick! My sister and I got green tea while my friend ordered wine.We also got gyoza and the house salad which comes with the ginger dressing. Delicious! The vegetable gyoza tasted like they made it from scratch.For the sushi, we got: yum yum, lotus roll, cherry blossom, unagi, asahi, and spicy salmon crunch roll.We all enjoyed everything but the unagi had quite a lot of avocado. It's just a preference though. I also felt like the cherry blossom wasn't flavorful. I've had it at another sushi restaurant before but this version wasn't my favorite. Regardless, everything else was very good and tasted fresh!We got pretty full quickly and had to take our sushi home. Overall, great service! They were quick bringing everything out, but we didn't feel rushed. I would come back!"

Either way, he said that he could eat a BUNCH of sushi. He couldn't eat as much as me and my friend E. The tradition here is to order in waves of 6 so as to receive your sushi on the coveted "sushi boat." It's gorgeous. You and your friend must then order 2 waves of sushi boat. Then, you must end with a single "Baked Philly" roll. It's a tradition. You will thank me but also hate me as that is a bunch of sushi. Will you find yourself saying a prayer that you make it through all of the rolls? Likely. Then you go next door to the Game X Change and find yourself a copy of "The Original Kings of Comedy" with Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley. I only subtract a star because the copy we bought was BUSTED! Didn't play all the way through! SMH."

It's a small hibachi restaurant with non hibachi tables. The service is always fast and friendly. This was the first hibachi restaurant we visited when we moved to the area and been back many times. We have tried quite a bit of the sushi rolls. The chuck norris needs a little work. We have tried this at another local sushi restaurant and it wasn't close to the taste. Other than that all the food is great. It would be nice to see the owners spruce up the place to make it look a little more inviting but who knows. The word is they have been there for 20+ years so I don't think they have any desire to upgrade."

Our sushi was pretty dang good... Which really, is what you should go for. It was reasonably priced and fresh! We also ordered the tonkotsu ramen, but meh - their strength is in the sushi (as far as what we ordered). If you're REALLY just jonesing for some noods, the ramen is just fine. All of the ingredients were just really bland and didn't really add anything to the bowl. Gonna give them five stars anyway because they're not a ramen shop and everything else was great. We got away with something like $40 for two people (including a generous tip)!"

A quick order through Doordash and here we are.The food, was... alright. Just not what I'm used to when it comes to standard American Chinese food. The garlic chicken was swimming in sauce and was oddly sweet. Hot and Sour was decent, but once again, oddly sweet. Egg rolls and the fried rice left a lot to be desired. Their saving grace: they threw in some fresh Chinese donuts.Had a pretty extensive menu ranging from boba tea to sushi. To sum it up: Not the best, not the worst."

"While venturing out in Evansville, we happened upon Poke River and decided to give it a try. There's ample parking. The interior is spacious and clean with ample seating. We were greeted by one of their staff who was also taking orders at the counter. The food offerings were ramen, udon, poke bowls, and sushi. The sushi chef was on the opposite end of the counter and rolling sushi. Being accustomed to cubed raw fish that is flavored for poke bowls, the spicy poke options appeared to be ground up fish which I guess is a mainland thing at some restaurants. I ended up ordering beef ramen. The order was brought to our table and dug into it. The broth was flavorful and not overly salty. The noodles were Al dente and there were a few pieces of tender beef along with bamboo shoots and half a hard boiled egg. The meal was tasty and filling. As it was approaching lunch time, other customers entered the restaurant. We found the staff to be quite friendly and polite and experienced good service by the waitress who brought our order out to us. The food was quite good and filled my appetite. I'd return to Poke River and would likely try some of their sushi. Highly recommended."

"The sushi here is pretty good and fresh, and while I've never done the hibachi, where I sat I could see the hibachi and it looks like a lot of fun, it seems they do hibachi right if you're looking for it here. The place gets lively right around 6. It's usually bustling and talkative. I always love a side salad with the ginger dressing before my sushi and this one is just fine. It's not a standout from any other sushi place, pretty standard, but it hits the spot. This latest time I went with my parents we got the tempura shrimp as an appetizer and it was pretty good. I do wish the tempura sauce would've been a little more flavorful. My non-sushi eating parents got the seafood combo teriyaki style, and they really enjoyed it. I took a few bites and it was very nice -- the scallops weren't over cooked, they were very tender, same with the shrimp. The teriyaki sauce was well balanced, not too salty or sweet, just right. Their crunch munch roll here is my favorite. It's generously filled with spicy crab, the shrimp is nice on the outside, and the tempura flakes add a good crunch, and the spicy dressing finishes it off with some heat. I also like to get an unagi roll, and theirs is better than most places. My sister, however, got the volcano roll and it wasn't very good. It was baked or steamed in foil, so the rice didn't hold together and it fell apart trying to eat it, they put way too much spicy mayo and that got all mixed in with the rice. It was literally a hot mess. She hated to use this word, but she said it was terrible. I tried it and agreed. That's probably the only bad note to make. But overall, this is probably one of the better sushi/Japanese spots in the area"

"Walking in to Sakura15, you feel like you're in another part of the world. The decorations are beautiful, the seating is white leather chairs with nice tables and the staff is polite, smiling and very attentive. My Hubby had the Japanese udon noodles with beef (no vegetables of course) and I had the Beef Shoyu Raman (no crabmeat), when his plate came out, it was 3 times the size of a dinner plate, loaded with one of the best smelling/looking/tasting foods we had ever seen!!! It was so flavorful! My Ramen took a couple minutes longer and while the ramen broth was delicious, the noodles looked and tasted just like the instant ramen you can buy in the store. I was a little food jealous of my Hubby for sure. We will definitely return, but I won't be getting the ramen again. I will for sure opt for the Udon with Beef!"

For entrees, we both opted for the filet mignon and chicken. All entrees come with soup, salad, veggies, and fried rice. Our chef was spectacular! Cooked our meal to perfection and did an amazing job with entertaining us. The food is plenty, even though prices may seem steep. I highly recommend dining in and coming in for the experience. This place is fantastic and you will definitely be going home with a happy belly!"

"I was babysitting my niece and asked her what she wanted for dinner. We talked through a few things before she said hibachi. We love going to a hibachi grill!Asiana is a bit different than other hibachi grills I have been to. It's unique and fun. Their actual hibachi grill area is smaller than I thought it would be but it was perfect for this restaurant setting. They had tables all over and they still cooked your food on this hibachi grill regardless of where you sat. My niece and I were the only ones sitting at a hibachi grill when we first got there, so we got to watch our chef make not just our food but the food for others who were sitting in the restaurant and also to go/delivery orders. The only slight disappointment was that our chef didn't do much of a "show" like we normally experience - especially with my niece sitting with me. It's ok though, we still enjoyed it.I had the filet hibachi and my niece had the kids shrimp hibachi (this kid can eat her weight in shrimp). Onions don't agree with my belly so I asked for no onions in the rice and veggies. They were very wonderful to accommodate. We got our rice, then our protein, and then our veggies on our plate. The kids hibachi comes with a choice of soup or salad while the adult one comes with both. My niece got the salad and our salads and my soup came out before chef started cooking. It was delicious - I love the ginger dressing! After all of our food was plated, I had to wait before I was able to ask for some yum yum sauce. They just handed me the entire bottle instead of portioning it out, which was fine by me. Overall, we had a great visit. It was still $50+ (after tip) for my niece and I, but we had a great evening together. She gave it a 10 out of 10 and double thumbs up."

"I took myself on a takeout sushi date last night. When I walked in to pick up my order, everyone was very kind. The hostess/server asked me where I was from and I told her I was just here for work. She offered for me to dine in so I wouldn't have to eat at my place solo, since I don't know anyone here. I thought that was incredibly sweet. I ordered the French kiss, tuna tataki, shrimp tempura appetizer, devil roll, dancing girl, bagel maki and another 2 I can't remember. All of the rolls were really really good!! The dancing girl was delicious and the devil roll was probably my favorite. The shrimp tempura had great flavor. The tuna tataki was a bit spicy, which I like. I will definitely be back, there's even a liquor store 2 doors down, I grabbed some wine to make it a real date night. The only negative thing I can say is that the soy sauce packets were terrible and didn't taste like soy sauce at all. If that's the worst thing I have to say then I'll take it!"

My husband and I ordered 4 rolls between the two of us, which is our typical practice. But we barely made a dent after finishing the spicy tuna nachos app. In the future, I will probably just get this as my entrée.They were out of my first two choices of tea. I don't remember what I ended up getting, but it was good. Hopefully next time they will have but firs choice.It's about a 40 min drive from our house, but we will absolutely be back again and again!"
