Very happy we came. Food came out in good time, after that the service was a little absent but it was fine. "This place was on a side street. You would have to specifically be looking for this place to get to it. The service was pretty slow. After we ordered, the food seemed like it took forever to come out. We went on a Monday and maybe that's a slower day for them. The food was delicious though. I got the chicken vindaloo with medium spice. It was really good. The kid got chicken wings and fries. He said his was really good too. Said it tasted like Kroger chicken lol which he likes. Not only that but they were prompt with letting us order and getting the bill. "This place has been great every time we've gotten food here. We've only ever gotten takeout, but it's been an awesome experience each time. We are pretty basic, but we love the naan, the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. We love the flavor, portion, and spice level. We really are very lucky to have a place like this in Etown. Any time we have a craving for Indian food, we know Namaste is here for us and is consistently great. One of the best Indian Restaurants in Louisville if not the best. The food is delicious and I have tried a variety of things. The mango lassi is a must try! Dinner dining is more formal and definitely a must try in Louisville!

Service was efficient, perhaps a bit terse at times but I'm willing to let that slide, as closing time was approaching. Ambiance was about as expected. I thought the complimentary appetizer, Indian crisps with 2 chutneys, was lovely. My Panir Masala was colorful, complex and wonderfully spiced; the medium (choices are mild, medium, hot, and Indian hot) heat level was plenty for me.The garlic naan was great - bubbly, chewy and liberally seasoned.

Another meal, another GREAT choice in Lexington!! SO MUCH variety, a beautiful setting, and DEFINITELY something for just about every appetite! I've been craving Indian food just about any and everywhere for a WHILE now (hard to believe it used to be just about LAST on my list...) and while visiting friends in Lexington, I checked Yelp for our options, and we managed to get in here with barely a wait on a chilly weekend evening. My friend and I shared a veg. samosa app (yum, esp. the tamarind sauce) and two chicken curry entrees (chicken curry and chicken patia (curry w/mango) which were both very good, but so close to the same thing that we were both left wishing for a bit more variety. PLENTY of leftovers, including two tasty and VERY filling varieties of na'an. NEXT time, we'll be sure to order two less similar entrees!!Come hungry, leave STUFFED!! Great service, reasonable prices, and if you're in the area in the afternoon, what looks to be an AWESOME lunch buffet!! NAMASTE!!!

We went during buffet hours and loved the food. They have small buffet but what they have is very delicious. Food wasn't too spicy which it was great because I personally could enjoy the flavor of the food more. The owner was so nice and welcoming. They brought us very delicious drink for us to try for free, they said they will have it in their menu. It has pistachios, rose water, and some rose pedal on top, very delicious. Restaurant could use some more cleaning. Overall we enjoyed the food and had a great time. FYI, Buffet hours and price:Monday-Friday: 11am-2pm - $13.99Sat and Sun: 12pm-2:30pm - $16.99

Have ordered to-go a few times but went in person on Sunday and man...it definitely tastes better in person! I ordered chai, chicken makhani, and garlic naan. The chai was okay but the chicken makhani and garlic naan were incredible. The serving size is HUGE. We had enough for two leftover meals! Service was good and relatively quick. It's not super fancy just about 15 tables inside but you will be full and happy like I was when I left. I would say my usual order and experience is 4 star but when we went the other day? Definitely 5 star.

It's rare to find an Indian restaurant with both Northern & Southern Indian food. I usually try something different every time I eat Indian or I'd have liked a "sampler" but they only have that at lunch on the weekend. The food was incredible & service was really good. The samosas were way too spicy for me but they made sure my karaikudi chicken was mild. Naan was wonderful. I can't wait to try a new dish here and I'm definitely trying their dosas next time.

We stopped in for a late lunch today.The food was incredible. We shared the Gobi Manchurian. I had the chicken coconut curry. My husband had the lamb. The food was hot and spicy. The service was incredible. If you like Indian food you should definitely check it out.

Looking for a taste of authentic Nepali cuisine? Look no further than @Kathmandu Kitchen and Bar! I enjoyed the takeout yesterday, marking my 5th visit this year, and each time leaves me craving more! From the delicious Chicken momo to the flavorful goat curry, chicken chowmein, and chicken biryani, every bite transports me back to my home country- Kathmandu, Nepal.Despite traveling 45 minutes, the experience was well worth it. Personally, I can't get enough of their chicken momo and chicken chowmein - they are delicious! I chose mild spice so I could taste all the flavors without it being too spicy.Lastly, the food prices are very reasonable, and portions are very generous. Also, the owners are amazing - a Nepali couple who put a lot of love into their food. Their warmth and hospitality are evident in every bite.Do yourself a favor and give Kathmandu Kitchen and Bar a try - you won't regret it! "Tucked behind Paul's Fruit Market is a small, unassuming restaurant that serves up some of the greatest Indian food around. My only wish is that it had not been such a raw, ugly, stormy day so we could have had the opportunity to sit outside.My entree was the Lamb Vindaloo (A spicy and tangy lamb curry cooked with potato cubes and light coconut milk). I asked for it to be spicy, and it sort of was? But not to the level I would have liked. Still extremely delicious though.Then, my friend who is mad for all things bread, ordered three huge naans: Cheese, garlic and bullet (Naan stuffed with green chilies and spices). These were crazy good and were so big there was a ton left over. I definitely want to try all the flavors!Service was prompt and professional, and the ladies who brought the food were so nice. With the buffet you were able to try a variety of their wonderful foods and lots of warm nan bread and condiments. They now serve papadum and some chutneys to start the meal which is a really nice addition. I am a big fan of their Palak Paneer, it has a wonderful flavor and the cheese is such a wonderful texture. All main dishes are served with long grain basmati rice that is always cooked to perfection. The servings are large and a good value. I usually get two meals out of one serving.The service is friendly and helpful if you have any questions. The restaurant is comfortable.I have not done take out here, but I would think most of the food would travel well, because the leftovers always warm up great!"

The fish came out fast and was a great snack while we waited on our entrees. While we were sitting we could hear commotion from the kitchen which sounded like arguing but it didn't concern us so we just chatted but it brought attention to how quiet the restaurant was. No music or audio to drawn out personal conversations. The tvs were later cut on. Dinner came and we tore it up! Got full half way through and took the rest to go. "Somewhat of an odd setup. Lebrang is a convenience store with a kitchen in back. They serve Indian cuisine as take out only. There is no seating. Also on site is a Sunoco gas station.Our grown daughters have eaten here several times and recommend it highly. The only reason for the four stars is because I don't care for the sauces that come with my order. I just throw it away. I always order the Biryani with chicken, it's enough to feed two people. This time I branched out and also ordered their vegetable fritters. No complaints. Next time I will try something different. Food has a nice kick with the spiciness. Just how I like it.
