"Amazing date night spot. We stopped here before a concert and had curry ramen and a chicken sandwich. We also had egg rolls, but we devoured those before I got a photo (there were 3 in the order). It was busy in the restaurant, so I'm glad we made a reservation ahead of time. Service was great. Highly recommend!"

"Don't be fooled by its outdated exterior and odd theme--Galactic Fried Chicken is hands down one of the BEST restaurants out there if you're looking for a fried chicken spot that has both vegetarian AND gluten free options! Their jackfruit bites are out of this world (pun intended), especially with a hefty side of ranch, and their loaded fries are delicious as well. The entire place is great for those with celiac.I don't recommend their deviled eggs, however.Fantastic spot, super nice owner!"

"We stopped on a Monday evening after a dance lesson. I didn't realize it was spicy chicken until we were ordering. The server said it wasn't too spicy, so I took a chance. Unfortunately, it was too spicy for me. My tolerance is very low. The flavor was great, I just couldn't handle the heat! The sides were excellent though. The macaroni and cheese was moist and cheesy. The greens had great flavor - even my 13 month loved them. I jokingly told my husband if we came back I would just have to order from the kids menu."

"I decided to give them a try after looking at their extensive menu. It was short drive to pick up some food and bring it home. This was the first time I have gone to this restaurant. I have passed by it multiple times but never stopped before. I did go into the drive-thru the wrong way. If you go there, you need to drive around back where the drive-thru lane starts. You have to order the pick up your food from the passenger side. This is due to it being the last space in the strip mall there. Anyway, they were nice about it (I am sure I'm not the first to make this mistake). They took my order and told me I could park anywhere out front and they would bring my food to me. She told me they make it fresh so it would take a few minutes but assured me she would get it out to me as quickly as possible. It was probably about 10 minutes or so. I would order ahead next time and then pick up at the drive-thru. I ordered the 2 pc Boneless Catfish Dinner which comes with two sides and a choice of bread. I tried the Red Beans & Rice and the Potato Salad. For my bread I went with the Cornbread instead of the roll. The fish was good. The potato salad was excellent. The red beans & rice and cornbread were okay. I would come again to order more food for sure. She got the Chicken Sandwich. It was a classic chicken sandwich which would normally come with lettuce, tomato, mayo, they also asked if she wanted pickles. She opted to get it plain. She sometimes doesn't like the sauce or there is too much sauce so she prefers to add the toppings herself if needed. The chicken was lightly fried and came on a large white bun. There are so many places that sell the classic sandwich so she did have some preconceived idea of what it would taste like. She had to say this chicken sandwich, to her surprise, exceeded her expectations. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was everything she had hoped for. She realizes it is just a piece of fried chicken breast but it gets harder and harder to find a really good one. She will certainly be ordering this again."

"We visited here on a Saturday evening and around dinner time. We watch college football games on their big TVs. The atmosphere is a five out of five for sure. I love the sports bar. Service was OK. I had to go get my own drinks a couple times which was kind of annoying, but I don't mind doing it, they're really crowded but they weren't really crowded so. Food was just OK it's a two. I'd say the best thing about this place is the atmosphere and the location. Chicken tenders were just subpar to be honest I wish I could say better but they weren't chicken biscuits were the best thing I will say they were the only great thing that we had."

"I first learned about CityBird from eating at their Over the Rhine location, so glad they have this location now as it's right by my work/house and is a larger restaurant. The branding of CityBird is great! Modern and pleasing design on the inside. A variety of seating on the inside with options for outdoor seating as well. The main thing they serve is Chicken Tenders. Before everyone complains and says "why another chicken tender place" this place is DIFFERENT. They have the superior tender in my opinion. They offer tender meals, sandwiches, and salads. Their fries are covered with Parmesan cheese and parsley. The sauces are made in house daily and you can tell when you taste the sauce that it's made fresh with care! They offer 7 different sauces I've had almost all of them and you can't go wrong with any of them honestly. I love their city sauce and ranch the most! The hot honey is very good as well.On to the tenders, today for lunch I got the large tender meal with fries and a fountain coke. The tenders were just like every previous time I've been here; PERFECT. The breading to chicken ratio is immaculate - there's no "gross" or fatty parts on their chicken unlike other places. The tenders are perfectly seasoned and moist. I could eat them without the sauce but the sauce just adds to the experience. The fries are also insanely tasty; the Parmesan and parsley level them up from just a basic fry and make you wanna clear your plate pretty quickly. The service is always great and fast at this location - It was prime time during lunch rush and I walked right in, placed my order, got my fountain drink, waited less than 5 minutes and my name was called and I was on my way. If you have the choice try to dine in to get the best experience, but even to-go I have still been impressed.Definitely give this place a try! You won't regret it."

"Joella's Hot Chicken? Yes, please!Serving fried or grilled chicken, Joella's offers the choice of mild to hot with a dipping sauce, served with a dill pickle slice. The good, and it is good:-shoestring fries-Mac n cheese ( creamy and addictive)-Kale salad- collard GreensThe bad...well, not bad but certainly disappointing : Joella's switched from Boylan's fountain sodas to Coca Cola. Boylan's was known for their offerings of pure cane sugar cola, black cherry cola, and others. For me, offering what ever other restaurant offers takes away a unique option but apparently the public has spoken.I ordered the 2pc tenders with tweener sauce (a little spicy), and the kale salad side, which is slightly sweet and crunchy. As always, the chicken was flavorful and the kale was fresh. We were served by the general manager and he was very accommodating and went out of his way to be helpful.Overall, Joella's serves hot chicken the way you like it. Enjoy!"

Beat the evening rush and was able to find a table indoors. Service from the start was very amicable and prompt. Enjoyed sitting next to a fireplace on a cool night. Waiter asked about allergies and promptly gave me a menu that was off marked with gluten option and what can be made gluten free. Food was amazing, the flavors and tasted very fresh. Definitely recommend this place and hope to one day come back when in the area.

OMG!! 5 stars. Chicken sandwich is 5 stars. Various heat levels offered. We took hot which is halfway. Got 3 more levels above that. Place is small. Some seating, but mostly take out. Busy as hell! They must be doing something right. Chicken was .... So damn good! Sides were mac n cheese good! Baked beans were better. Wife says they must have jalopeno in it! Awesome. Service was great. Those folks bend over backwards to get you what you need. Prices with sides and a drink... Extremely reasonable. My only regret is I wish I lived close to here!! Believe Next time I come this way, this will be a stop! Place is less than 5 minutes off of I-75. Do please stop here. Fantastic Mom & Pop shop. This is what America is all about!

At first I thought $12 for 3 chicken tenders was a bit pricey, however, they are huge-and tasty. Add $4 for a drink and fries you have more than enough food. In fact we had leftovers. And to boot the chicken is gluten free. I was told that people come from as far away as Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio for their chicken. Wow. Although it looks like a hole in the wall it's not to be missed. By the way, there's a free public parking lot a couple of doors down.

Actual fresh cooked to order spicy fried chicken! Was just what I was looking for tonight. Restaurant was clean, presented well and had a couple TVs going with the volume low, just enough to occupy your brain while you waited (very shortly) for the food. Wish they had something besides Diet Coke for a diet drink option but as good as the chicken was it would have taken something really bad to happen to pull even 1 star off this review.

This is one of my favorite friend chicken places. The batter is seasoned so well and it's always crispy and delicious! I love their battered potato wedges. Their prices are great too.

You have to be in the mood for chicken! Although they do have salads as well. The cheddar biscuits, onion rings and chicken tenders are good. The fries are so thin and salty, so I'd opt for another side. (Wish they had a side salad)Quickly seated. Lots of indoor seating and some on the patio. Beers on tap plus several other drink options. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Service was fine. Bathrooms were a mess and floors felt a little slippery/greasy. This wouldn't be my first choice for a meal in Norton Commons.

We had CityBird for the first time today and I'm not sure why we slept on it! The tenders were perfectly seasoned and delicious. I had the snack pack which was very filling. I also had a side of Cole slaw; it was crunchy and not overly sauced - very good! The fries have Parmesan, garlic, fresh cilantro, and possibly other things - they were awesome. I liked the City Sauce too. I'd say it's similar to signature sauces at other chicken places but higher quality - more of an aioli than oily sauce.

The fries were so good, the chicken was ok. Located in a convenient area and good for a quick stop lunch. Also tried the banana pudding which was good. The place seemed clean, customer service was good. Overall it was ok but not anything to brag about. I'll probably try something new next time I'm in town.

"First time we visited Major Munch today, near the old Post Office in Evansville. Great service. I didnt feel pressured to order a certain thing. She did recommended a couple of things that were popular. Joey got the Steak Philly [not pictured] and I got a cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries. Joey originally wanted chicken Philly and they were out, later the cook came out and said he made one for us to take home then he asked if we had tried the fry sauce. It. Was. Amazing!!!"

"First time trying this place out. We where greeted with a smile. Good customer service. They had a steady flow of customers coming in and out. We ordered a bunch combo meals. The food was tasty and flavorful and piping hot. My kids liked it so it's a thumbs up for me."

"We were in the area and stopped by to get something to eat. Very chill place, our service was excellent! we got table service, minus the drinks we picked up before sitting down. We ordered some nachos as an appetizer. They were delicious.I got the chorizo torta with fries. My friends got burritos. My torta was massive & decent.Bathrooms were clean. We also got dessert empanadas, we ordered the apple but also got a Nutella one per our server since we couldn't decide on which ones we wanted. Overall excellent service, food is good and price was decent."

"Between Ritchie's, Indy's, and Grimes, this place is part of a family of fast food restaurants. Or, should I say chicken wing specialty restaurants? That's exactly what they're all known for. This is the newest of the family of restaurants. It's located on New Circle Rd., across the street from the old bowling alley. The building itself was recently a short lived Wing Hut, and before that, it was Brooks BBQ 2. I will say that I prefer chicken tenders over wings, so I might be disqualified from being taken seriously here. I'll say, I've had much better chicken tenders at other places. Specifically, the ones from Lee's are much better. As my side, I got mashed potatoes and gravy. The brown gravy was gelatin like and the potatoes had obviously been sitting awhile and needed a good stir. There were lumps in the potatoes, but not like the lumps in real potatoes, but like flaky or flour like lumps, that made the texture odd. The taste was odd too.I'm not sure if I'd be back. Maybe I'll eventually try the wings and update my review. Until then, these three stars are generous."

"I got the goat curry and my wife had the oxtails. The goat curry was fantastic. The meat was tender and the flavor was balanced and delicious. The curry dinner comes with rice&peas and two sides. The rice&peas were phenomenal, and the greens + mac&cheese sides were great. I didn't get to try the oxtails, but they looked amazing and my wife said they were great. She raved about the rice and peas, so it's unanimous. The couple running this restaurant used to live in Jamaica and the husband has experience cooking at a restaurant back in Jamaica. It shows. The quality, quantity, and value for the price is great. I hope the word catches on and they are super successful, because this place is way too good to not succeed."

"Visiting Lexington, KY, looking to have lunch. We found a Peruvian restaurant that served Rotisserie Chicken. Walking in smelled soooo good. We knew we were in for a great meal !!! Allison V, was our server.... she was great. Very friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Two notes....1) we thought the music was too loud.... It was a bit tough to hear each other when talking. (that can be easily fixed). 2) it would be nice for them to have a wine license... to at least serve Sangria!! No alcohol is available. Food was excellent !!! We ordered a full rotisserie chicken with salad & 2 sides to split. Our meal was over the top delicious !! The brine seasoning made the chicken so tender and moist. Included with our meal was a huge salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. Very fresh. We also ordered the tostones, which were thicker than we've had in other places... delicious. The sauces served with our meal were white sauce (a very tasty mayo mix with "something ", a yellow Ali pepper sauce & their jalapeño green sauce. The Ali saucei was mild, and we think the green sauce could have been spicier. All of the sauces complemented the meal quite well. Yes, highly recommended."

"D is an amazing cook trying to get a leg up in Georgetowns small restaurant scene and deserves the recognition. If you like a greasy spoon and a dive that leaves you feeling full and puts a smile on your face I've yet to find one better."

"This was pretty good bubble tea! Very cute inside with lots of seating and Instagrammable decor. Quite a few options on the menu, along with food too. I was the only person in there, so they took my order quickly and my tea was out without a wait. I am not sure if they use fresh brewed tea, but it seemed to be comparable to other bubble tea places I've been. Prices are also about what you would expect - just under $6 for this drink. I enjoyed it and would go back!"

"Order at the counter and grab your number. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for outdoor. There were cute birds there waiting to see if you'll drop them a few crumbs.I ordered the mild and husband got the medium hot. We're glad both were not overly spicy. We've been burned before. For the sides we got spicy wedges, Mac, and broccoli salad. All were solid sides. My favorite was probably the potato wedges.Bus your own table."
