The gal next to me from out of town ordered some sides of Mac n Cheese, Asparagus and French Fries for her meal and it did smell delicious."

"I've lived in Louisville full-time for 3 years, but I started visiting nearly a decade ago when I moved to Lexington. When I met a friend in Louisville for dinner, he recommended Grind. I enjoyed my burger enough that it became one of my go-to places when I dropped in town, and I'm still trying new things on the menu. I've built my own burger, and also enjoyed the B&B, and Pork. All were good. And while they are known for burgers, they excel at other items. My wife loves their salads. Last time we went, I got the adult grilled cheese for the first time. I did enjoy it, but it felt a little too elevated to me. I'll probably go back to burgers the next time we go. The house cut fries did not disappoint. As for beverages --- pretty reasonably priced and a good beer/bourbon selection. This is a great place to bring visitors because there is usually always room for groups, it's right near the heart of NuLu, and it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! Which I think is cool.The reason for 4 stars is that while everything is good that I've tried, I think there are better burgers out there for a better price. The ambience in there is also hit-or-miss because I've hardly been inside when it's crowded. It's a big space, so it can feel a little empty.That doesn't impact us as much because we always go up to the bar and chat with the bartenders. They're very friendly and have some good stories to tell. The servers are a big reason why we keep coming!"

Their popularity started as a food truck. Can't wait to go back."

As a matter of fact, I have yet to have any house ketchup that is as good as the old reliable, Heinz. Anyway, not a deal breaker by any stretch."

I would want to try coming in after they have been open for awhile next time and see if the temperature is more moderate. 5 stars for the food, just took off a star because the temperature was uncomfortably cold even with the coats on."

"Took some out of town guests here for a late breakfast. Cute diner vibe, small and cozy restaurant. Food was very good and what I liked best is the servings were a normal size not the huge, expensive mountains of food most places now serve. I had four pecan waffles and the size was just right, fresh and tasty. Servers were pleasant and the place was clean. Lost a star because the coffee was luke warm, no matter how many times my cup was topped off the coffee was not hot."

Great energy and knows the menu!We both ordered the grippo wings and we had the Mac and greens for our sides.The Old fashioned is strong and good!!!So the food came out and it was Fire!!! The wings were cooked to a crispy perfection and had the smoked flavor along with the grippo taste. The sides were great!!! Didn't have enough room for desert. "Well this place has been in the neighborhood forever. I don't know how many owners it's had but you can tell it's a staple because it is completely full during lunch and dinner on most days of the week. Just moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and even though I feel the menu here is pretty limited, it's just always busy. And good for them! Ambience is very classic and lots of wood. Service seems to be good for the past few times I've been here. I had the zips burger which I thought was pretty good and my friend had the train wreck which he really liked. Everything else is sort of extra and there's not much else on the menu besides burgers and fries. But if that's what you want, it's going to be here! Maya was our server and she did a great job of taking care of us."

"I've lived in louisville majority of my life and I have had not heard of this spot until it was suggested to visit in my foodie group. It was a large group of us so it was nice to be able to reserve online without any issues. When I arrived, I was able to find my group quickly. Once I was seated, the waiter came right away to get my drink order. I ordered a cosmo. I looked over the menu ahead of time so I knew exactly what I wanted. Once the group arrived, we placed our order. I do not eat beef or pork, but they do have other options. I ordered a fish sandwich. We also ordered some shareables like the pretzel and beer cheese and the pimento cheese arancini. When the food arrived it was hot and very good. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was family friendly and had a full service bar. I will def be going back."

The toast is nice and buttery but wasn't soggy, the sandwich was stuffed full of meat and the fries were amazing.To put things into context, this is rivaling my favorite club from my number one deli. I also loved how the dining area is mostly separate from the bar side. This keeps down the noise and makes it feel less like a sports bar and grill if you are only interested in going for the food. They do have 5 giant TVs on the dinning side of things as well.I will be back many times, and I cannot wait!"

I used GPS navigation to find it is easily as you have to bear to the right if westbound on IN 46.The greeter will offer you a high or low table. I ordered the Chicken Tenders Basket which came with EIGHT tenders, coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw was excellent and so were the tenders. The tenders didn't have too much batter and were fried to perfection.I had made a list of places in Columbus previously that were rated high on Yelp for lunch. This place was my third place I stopped today and it was the most accommodating. I'm glad I found this lunch spot."

While the price of the cheeseburger special has gone up (only by $2.50) and they've moved their location (just slightly) the food and experience is still the same no frills deliciousness.They have indoor and outdoor dining now and they let you order lettuce and tomato on your burger, but you still get your food on paper plate and the burger special still comes with fries and a drink of choice (including a beer if you want). The burger with onions and pickles is the way to go and it's delicious every time. I have never tried anything else here and I don't know if I ever will. It's exactly what I want and while I know people love the other items on the menu it's hard not to order the cheeseburger when I know it's perfection.If you've never been, they do have a parking lot along with street parking. The servers are friendly and helpful too. You'll see a lot of regulars here as well as families.This one of those old school, welcoming spots that feels like dining at a family member's place for a get together- especially now that they have the outdoor seating. It is no frills, but what they do they do well and at a great price.We stop by at least once every time we're in town."

"If half stars were a thing, I think 3.5 would be perfect for Milkman. To start, you walk in and order at the counter. They have a cooler with a pretty good beverage selection. There are a handful of diner-style table for sitting and you seat yourself after ordering. The menu has 4 or 5 burger options and then a slew of a la carte toppings (each with a fee). We got a Spicy Burger and a Cowboy burger as well as a chocolate shake and a side of fries. The burgers were pretty tasty. Truthfully, they kind of tasted like Five Guys burgers, which is where my lower rating comes from. Also, the fact that each topping is an additional price can make it a relatively pricey meal. The shake was the best part of our meal, that was delicious. The fries were also quite tasty. They were crispy and well seasoned. Overall, for the price and selection, I'm not sure I would go back."

She made a perfect Arnold Palmer for me and then took my order. I was gettin' hungry, and that country fried steak was callin' my name from the kitchen (yep, all the way from the kitchen!).I obliged the call, and my two side were cauliflower covered in cheese, and a (loaded) house salad.The salad came out quickly. I put a packet of Bleu cheese dressing on my salad and proceeded to get to work on it. What a hugely filling salad!Unfortunately, my country fried steak came out soon thereafter. I was already running out of room, but I knew I had to soldier on. I wanna tell ya, despite my lack of internal space, I had to hold back and refrain from licking the plate. It was soooo good!Kinnidi B. is a bright and sparkly breath of fresh air. Such a sweetheart, she did a great job of checking up on me. Actually, not to disparage any of the other wait staff (I used to call them waitresses), everyone was helping everyone else. They really worked well as a team!On the way out, when I paid my bill, I somehow felt compelled to hand my card to Kinnidi. I saw a big smile take over her face. I hope she remembers me when I return.I highly recommend!!"
