"Sarang is a lovely compact, family-owned Korean restaurant perched on the corner of Bardstown and Eastern Parkway. The menu is available both as a large, overhead display in picture form and in trifold fliers, depending on how one best prefers to make decisions.Order at the counter, then choose one of the tables at which to await the delights which will soon arrive. The staff is quite knowledgeable about the menu items, including which contain a variety of potential allergens/common foods people avoid. Of note - one of the kimchis is vegan (cucumber) and they do offer a vegan ramyun which you should definitely try. As they were pretty steady the night we dined they hadj run out of jap chae, so I opted for veganized bibimbap (yes tofu, no egg). The veggie and kim-mari mandoo are also vegan, however the soondobu jigae is made with oyster sauce, so keep that in mind if trying to stay plant based.Pricing is quite reasonable for the quality and the amount of food, and the owner is just delightful. Although I'm sad I didn't get to try the jap chae this time, it does give me an excellent reason to return."
"I am addicted to Bento Asian Kitchen's Jalapeño Chicken. I seriously crave this dish way too much!!! If you love hot & spicy deliciousness you MUST go to Bento and order Jalapeño Chicken. Located in Middletown Bento is located close to Crumble Cookie, Feeders Supply Walmart. The staff are so nice and it's super clean. I like how they bring your food in to go containers because the amount is so much. Just put your lid on and take off. Perfect. My son ordered Orange Chicken with Lo Mein which was quite tasty as well. Don't forget to grab a fortune cookie on your way out. I'll be back soon I'm sure. I can't stay away!"

"Sushi establishment located in the okolona community of Louisville Kentucky. Located just off outer loop right where it meets Shepherdsville road. I've been eyeballing this place for awhile. My oldest daughter and wife love sushi and we frequent senor iguanas across the street very frequently so This place has caught our eye. From the exterior it looks kinda ran down. They didn't have a legit store sign for a long time so that was off putting. Yesterday on a Friday evening. Me my wife and my oldest and youngest daughters finally made the trip here. The inside is decorated very lovely and nice. Stark contrast from the outside. We received solid service here as well. We started with 4 sushi rolls. The crab Rangoon roll which may have been the best sushi I've ever tasted. Highly recommended. We also got a yum yum roll which was very good as well. The other two rolls we got was a California roll and my oldest got a crab tower. The crab tower was really cool and servers different from other sushi's. My oldest loved it. I took a sample and it was very good. I did not try the California roll but my wife said it was good. Was on par with other California rolls she has Had. For entree I got fried rice with egg and it was solid. My wife and daughter got some soups. Udon noodle with shrimp and a shrimp and veggie ramen. Both were huge and extravagant looking. They both were fans. Only complaint is the breaded shrimp was soggy and that was a weird taste to them. Overall very good place and I'm glad we finally made the trip. Can't always judge a place by its exterior. Kind of a hole in the wall sushi place from the outside. But very nice and tasty on the inside."
"While venturing out in Evansville, we happened upon Poke River and decided to give it a try. There's ample parking. The interior is spacious and clean with ample seating. We were greeted by one of their staff who was also taking orders at the counter. The food offerings were ramen, udon, poke bowls, and sushi. The sushi chef was on the opposite end of the counter and rolling sushi. Being accustomed to cubed raw fish that is flavored for poke bowls, the spicy poke options appeared to be ground up fish which I guess is a mainland thing at some restaurants. I ended up ordering beef ramen. The order was brought to our table and dug into it. The broth was flavorful and not overly salty. The noodles were Al dente and there were a few pieces of tender beef along with bamboo shoots and half a hard boiled egg. The meal was tasty and filling. As it was approaching lunch time, other customers entered the restaurant. We found the staff to be quite friendly and polite and experienced good service by the waitress who brought our order out to us. The food was quite good and filled my appetite. I'd return to Poke River and would likely try some of their sushi. Highly recommended."
"Really good. My understanding is that the owner is related to the people who own Siam House, which is my fave B-town Thai restaurant. I have had lunch here many times since I work downtown. The satay, the Thai dumplings, and the egg rolls are wonderful. I am eager to try more dishes. I am intrigued by the pad Thai wrapped in egg, planning to order it soon. Have only done take-out since it's been a pandemic since they opened, and their indoor dining space is tiny. They do get super busy during the lunch hour, so be aware it may take some time, but well worth it."
"Tried it fit the first time. Tastes pretty good. Staff was friendly. It's nice quaint place"
"Brand new smoothie & lunch spot in St. Matthews Station! Woman-owned & API-owned Featuring fresh pressed juices, Smoothies with frozen fruit instead of ice, and small bites."
"Fleur de Tea offers a wide variety of teas in store, along with a few bubble tea, coffee, smoothie, and pastry options. If you aren't able to visit in-person but still want to try their tea, check out the online store, which sells a Tea Sampler kit ($15) that can be shipped throughout the U.S.I ordered the Tea Sampler kit, which includes a selection of five loose leaf teas (one each of black, green, white, oolong, and herbal tea) and waited eagerly for it to be shipped 2000+ miles to California. Yay for free shipping too!SPILLING THE TEA... ON THE TEA:Per the website, each bag will make one 8-oz. cup of tea, but I was able to get at least two good cups out of each bag (and might've even gone to the 4-5 cup range for some...)The tea itself is pretty good quality as well - no tiny crumbled/dust pieces of leaves here - you get to see the actual pieces of tea leaves, and the aromas come out beautifully when brewing.// Almond oolong tea:+ Bright, fruity taste of oolong with a savory almond flavor+ This was one of my favorites! // Vanilla green tea:+ Lovely vanilla bean aroma!+ I enjoyed this. I've tried other bagged teas with vanilla before and didn't like how artificial the vanilla flavor seemed, but Fleur de Tea's version didn't have the same artificial-ness.// Blood Orange herbal tea:+ Also had rose hips and hibiscus flowers. Non-caffeinated!+ Brewed a lovely red color and tangy notes from the dried blood orange peel.+ I'm generally not a fan of a lot of hot fruity teas, but I actually liked this one. // Eternal Spring tea:+ White tea with a mix of fruit & rose petals+ Very light flavor with a gentle fruity/floral aromaI personally prefer stronger teas, so this one was just alright, but I can see why this would be a favorite for others.// Keemun Concerta tea:+ Very strong black tea with a rich, smoky aroma+ This was M's favorite one!TEA SAMPLER PACKAGING & CONDITION:The little package arrived in good condition. Each bag of loose leaf tea was sealed in its own small plastic bag, protecting it from the air and keeping in the aromas until I finally tried each one. The plastic bag is also labeled with the recommended water temperature and brewing time. The tea bag itself had a drawstring opening, so you can easily pour out the tea into your own tea infuser or tea pot if you prefer.PRICES:At $3/tea bag (each of which made for multiple brews), it's a little pricier than buying bulk bags of tea online but is definitely a way better deal than getting tea from Starbucks and most standard coffee shops. OVERALL:I'm a fan! I also got to hear Fleur de Tea's owner talk about her passion for tea and why she opened this store, and she's clearly super passionate about sharing quality tea with others. I'm happy I got to support her business from afar and try the Tea Sampler - it's a great way to try some more unique teas!"

Sarang is a great local Korean place on Bardstown Rd. They have parking in the back and the restaurant itself is pretty small. The service and food are amazing. My go-tos are the Beef Bulgogi, Bibimbap, and Korean fried chicken. They have very flavorful and fresh kimchi that comes with bulgogi and bibimbap. Staff is very friendly and I would highly recommend getting takeout- always fast and fresh.

I work nearby and had a craving for boba tea. Did a map search and this place showed up. I gave it a try. Excellent choice. So, here I am the third time this week with boba and a roll. I recommend. Milk tea boba, crunchy roll, steamed dumplings. Ahhhhhh so good

Calling all sushi lovers, this place is the bomb, its small but has many varieties of sushi and great quality food, and the atmosphere is very chill. Parking is not the best and you can easily miss it, but the customer service is great.

Quick trip to Evansville and stopped in for lunch. We got the BYO poke bowl. Lots of fresh options and the price was good. The only thing is the portions on the veggies were on the smaller side. I also prefer a spicy crab salad in my poke bowl but they don't offer it here. Service was very fast and friendly. Would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

I finally made it to Blooming Thai after yet another friend told me I absolutely needed to get there. Now I'm kicking myself for not going sooner! What a fantastic experience! The location is downtown, right in the square. Cute place, not big by any means but didn't have to wait for a table at 7:30pm. Crowded but no line. Server was great and even remembered my wife from when he worked at a different Thai place in town. Hmmmm. Maybe remembering her instead of me is something I should think about :). Really couldn't decide between two dishes so ordered one as an appetizer: the Spicy Catfish. Thank goodness my wife wouldn't let me order 'hot' and negotiated medium because it was spicy enough at that level. And amazing. It came with rice and was just the perfect mix of flavors. Too big for an appetizer but I'm known for ordering separate entrees when I can't decide so don't judge. I'm glad I did!For main course, I had the rotisserie chicken fried rice - hot - and it was very good. You could tell the chicken wasn't the normal chicken flavor, the rotisserie added to the dish. To be fair, the spicy catfish heat probably muted the flavor of my main since my taste buds were altered from the appetizer so I'm looking forward to this dish a second time without the mix. Wife had crab fried rice (mild) and liked it as well. Portions were very large for all so for those judging my three entree meal, know we didn't finish everything! I'm not into the Thai iced teas but they had a huge selection and we noticed several people coming in just for those as to-go orders so they must be good. Maybe next time as the banana flavor milktea looked interesting to me. All in all I'll be back - a great experience and a new addition to my 'go to list' in Bloomington!

I was so excited when I saw this place. Most local boba tea shops have very few options for actual tea. I ordered a black oolong rose milk tea and the drink came out white. It mostly just tasted like milk with a hint of rose. Very disappointing experience. Idk who would serve someone a black milk tea that was off white colored. I might go back, will definitely ask for it to be remade next time.

Came here with a friend on a Sunday around 11AM. It was pretty busy! There was only one person working so she was definitely busy but communicated well with us when we ordered that it would be about 20 minutes before we would get anything we ordered. I appreciated the transparency! Staff was very friendly. I ordered a cold brew coffee with coconut milk. Not my favorite coffee I've ever had. Probably shouldn't have ordered coffee from a smoothie/juice place so that's my bad. I got an egg and bacon croissant to eat. It was good but the croissant was a little overdone in my opinion! My friend got the green smoothie bowl and said it was delicious! I would recommend sticking to the smoothie/juices on the menu versus venturing off to the food options. The place itself was very cute, clean, and vegan/gluten free friendly! Also expect to wait for your smoothie/food/drink upwards of 15 minutes so just keep that in mind- if you are in a rush, this is not a quick in and out place.

What a great spot. It was very welcoming. Service was friendly & she was happy to help with any questions. She highly suggested her favorite when I asked. Which was a hot Pecan Turtle Latte with almond milk. 10/10 recommend that! I stayed for a bit & let my drink cool down. So many unique gifts & things for purchase. Can't wait to go back.

"I love this place. It's got a chill vibe and has a menu reminiscent of California boba places. The matcha vanilla drink is also amazing. I just wish there was better parking around here."
"I am SO excited to have this so close to home! Although I have frequented the location out on 10th, dare I say this hibachi even beats them! For only the 2nd day open, they have it figured out! First of all - monkey brains - who knew? Avocado stuffed with crab and spicy tuna, tempura fried and drizzled with yum yum sauce. Soooooo gooooood!!!Miso soup was hot and flavorful (and I got my order to go! It was still hot when I got home!) I chose the shrimp and scallop hibachi with noodles - IYKYK. These noodles are BOMB!! Amazing location - can't wait to have sushi in front of the big front window that rolls up in the summer. Thank you for sharing your yummies in downtown Jeff!!!"
"I decided to order the original bubble tea (with tapioca) through hubby dash :) He said the actual store was small but it was a "nice little set-up" and it's right across from Raising Canes. Hubby says that when you order, they ask what percent of sweet and how much ice. Hubby didn't know how much percent of sweet I wanted so he ordered 75% and it was a bit too sweet for me, so next time (and there will be a next time) I will try it will a little less sweeter. They also offer tea with different flavors and tea with no tapioca just FYI."
"Service was quick and easy. Our server was friendly and helpful but didn't hover. The vibe was chill, verging on hip. The menu is pretty straightforward. Standard Ramen Shop fare done exceptionally well. You can get sushi. You can get the usual appetizers. But, this Chashu Don? It's comfort food made by someone who might actually care about me. It's a friend who loves you enough to toss something green on top but remains judgement free of the consequences of all that pork and rice in that bowl. It's the crispy charred bits and the salty, seasoned absolution you get when you're spilling out your soul while filling your belly with family that makes this dish perfect. Funny how food can make you feel like you're going to be okay. You can get that here."
"I stumbled upon this tea shop inside The Mesa Kitchen in downtown New Albany (they also have a Jeff location) and it was perfect on a crazy hot day! The barista (or whatever it is for tea...) made a fantastic recommendation for a very unique canteloupe bubble tea with their house brown sugar boba. They also have varying types of fruit boba that can be substituted. They have a lot of other options for tea as well as supplies/accessories for tea at home. Will definitely be back!!"
"I had the taro blended with pudding at 100% sweetness and it was delicious. I always love taro milk tea, but this was my first time trying "pudding" in my drink. It's not like American pudding at all. The consistency is more of a jelly or jello. It's sweet and reminds me of the pearls but not as chewy. My husband had the strawberry blended with lychee jelly and ice cream which he enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back and trying more flavors."
"We had the Dirty Boba Tea (Strawberry) with several topppings and Black tea with milk foam. We loved the service and decor as well. Staff was friendly, attentive and fast. Highly recommend this place."
"Food Lab is owned by the same people who own Star Sushi, which I LOVE! I'll start by saying that I'm not super into Korean food, so I figured I wouldn't be very impressed. We ordered the three Korean Corn Dogs which I figured I would like, I didn't. My friends son loved everything he tried, he's 7! My son didn't, also 7. My husband and I got ramen but it's was spicy! No warning, flavor was okay but too spicy for me to eat. Overall, if you like to try new foods, love a good ambience and need a new place, try it! I rated it high because it was nice, clean, friendly and cute. I'm not giving it a poor rating when I knew I wouldn't love it."
"Stopped by the in the early afternoon and they were unfortunately sold out of fruit sandos, but the staff was so nice and made some fresh for us. They were delicious. We also got the classic milk tea with pearl boba, which was great as well. Highly recommend!"
"This was pretty good bubble tea! Very cute inside with lots of seating and Instagrammable decor. Quite a few options on the menu, along with food too. I was the only person in there, so they took my order quickly and my tea was out without a wait. I am not sure if they use fresh brewed tea, but it seemed to be comparable to other bubble tea places I've been. Prices are also about what you would expect - just under $6 for this drink. I enjoyed it and would go back!"
