"Such a cool brewery in Etown! This was essentially my first trip to Etown as I usually just drove through, but Flywheel was recommended so I dropped in. Bartender was super friendly and willing to discuss all of their beers as well as the ones on tap from other breweries. Sadly it was pretty much lost on me because I lack the fortitude to appreciate a good craft beer. This is not the place to come if you want a bud heavy or another boring ass beer. But they have a decent selection if bourbon so that kind of makes up for it.Will definitely return eventually."
"Disclaimer: We've used Upland a few times for lunch takeout at work, so I can't comment on the location, only the food itself.I can highly recommend the turkey and guac sandwich, as well as their salads. For the sandwich they use top-notch ingredients, and it's a great, tasty combination. The salads are fresh, crisp and refreshing. I have also tasted their beer-battered fries and they are awesome! Other coworkers like the fish and chips, the bison burger and their pizzas. (I want to try their Margarita, which is usually my favorite pizza.)Bottom line--their food is delicious and travels well for takeout. We keep going back for more!"
"I really enjoyed this place! Lots of drink and food options for patrons of all ages. Games available. Tons of space. We were there on a Thursday night and there was live music out on the patio. Several different beers on tap. We had a few flights to try all the different ones. They have a juicy IPA that was my favorite. The pizza flavors are very different! We tried the doritos taco pizza (6/10), the garlic honey chicken pizza (8/10), and the mac and cheese sausage pizza (8/10). We enjoyed all of the pizzas we tried. Its nice that you can just get personal sizes and try a few. The waitress was telling us that the Sweet Piggy is one of their best sellers. We will have to try that when we go back. The people were all very nice. The space is an old feed facility. It is very cool. This is a perfect place to come after a long day of hiking at Clifty Falls!"
"With the limited number of places to eat if you are staying in Frankfort, I think Goodwood was one of our better meals, but still didn't have consistent service. A sports bar concept - it's a good place to watch sports and spread out a bit.We came to Goodwood on a Saturday night for dinner as we stayed in Frankfort doing the bourbon trail. While we had very slow service with our waitress not coming for 15+ mins after we sat down and providing drinks quite a bit after we put in our order - we did see some tables in sections next to us with much faster service. To that end, I'd believe other reviewers saying they had great service, but unfortunately, I just don't think the service is anywhere near consistent. We ordered the drunken chicken sandwich, fish tacos, and wings between us. The food was quite good and as mentioned probably the best we had in the Frankfort area (though we only stayed ~3 days). Overall, I'd recommend goodwood if asked for a place to eat in Frankfort when looking for a casual, but good meal."
"Go for the smoked wings! So yummy! It's a small cute place. I had a great old fashioned, the wings were great, the pizza good, the staff friendly. Next time I'll try one of those beer flights- they look amazing."
"Seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly service. We tried the brussel sprouts with spicy aioli...sooo good! Chicken and dumplings are in a very tasty broth. Veggie burger and beef sandwich were both delicious. French fries are even better! Creamy banana pudding for dessert!"
"Great job repurposing the space! Creative beer names! Insanely friendly staff. 10/10 onion rings and I'm a huge snot about them."
"Great little taproom. Beer is delicious, which is a given since the brewer has been kicking butt on that front locally for a while. This place is the opposite of big beer so the person who made it will probably also serve if to you. Love that there are half pours of the beers without much, if any, up charge so you can try things. Food (pressed sandwiches) is good and super affordable as well. Roast beef and cheddar for the win! Sides are good too with potato salad being my personal fav. They do a green hot sauce that goes well with everything. Love how they know your order (vintage stoneware steins from different breweries with your silverware in them)...so creative. It's just a touch off the beaten path, but closer than you think. Isn't that what makes life interesting. Just go. Totally worth it."
"This is a must visit! Great beer and flavorful pizzas. The wings are amazing! I have celiac and the cauliflower crust hasn't bothered me. Good date night place! The ciders are great and I'm not even a regular drinker."
"Great meal! I ordered the gluten free pizza with vegan cheese. The waitress was very conscientious and let me know that there is milk powder in the gf crust since she noticed I ordered vegan cheese. That nearly made my whole experience - it's rare for waiters to take the extra step to make sure allergies and preferences are accommodated to. You also can switch out a gluten free bun or roll to any sandwich. The man who was at the hostess stand originally told us that he just seated "a hundred people" and that the food would come out late.. but it didn't at all which is good. Not sure why that was said. But it was fun eating outside and the tables seemed clean! Will be back!"
"During the fall festival, we ducked into Damsel to have a drink and was not disappointed. The festivals as crazy busy so this provided a safe haven that was chill. Craft beer flight was interesting and hit the spot."

I came to Etown to celebrate a friends birthday and this is the place she chose! It is a quaint little brewery, that offers many beers. They have locally brewed and then also outside beers. They even offer other spirits, like wine and bourbon. It features a wrap around bar with table and couch seating on each side of it and there is also outdoor seating. Plenty of games to keep you and your group entertained, and also two dart boards. I know they have food trucks on site from time to time, although there wasn't one on the night we were there... but they do allow you to bring in your own food.It is right next to the police station- so don't get wild up in there! LOL

I'd come back for the Ron Swanson pizza alone! It's a straightforward pizza, much like the namesake character on the TV show Parks and Recreation. It's stone-fired, with ham, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and marinara sauce. It's also gluten-free, which I didn't know when I ordered, but it was very tasty and I could not tell that it didn't have gluten in it. I'm not gluten-free in the slightest, but it's good to know that someone who eats gluten-free will find a tasty pizza here. They have a lot of options on the kids menu -- everything from pork tenderloin sliders to mac & cheese and fish & chips. The kids' cheeseburger (Boomer's Favorite Cheeseburger) is the perfect size for a kid, and comes with your choice of fries or fruit. Get the fries, because they are delicious.Along with a wood-fired pizza, I got a side Caesar salad, which was good. The ingredients were tossed in the dressing, like they should be.The dining room overlooks the Ohio River, with big windows everywhere. During the warmer months, you can also sit on the patio. We visited during the winter, though, so no patio seating. But it did look like they had some igloos. The service was great. I liked our early-20s skater server wearing a Supreme hat. He was very chill.

So happy to try some local beer while in Madison visiting friends. We loved being able to stop in and have some beer and delicious pizza together! They have some delicious blonde beers and some seasonal variations! I enjoyed a delicious flight, which was very affordable for the value I got! The Nashville hot honey pizza, the Mac and cheese pizza and the BBQ pizzas were wonderful! I plan to come again the next time I visit!

Having checked in to a local hotel, we asked the front desk for a good local dinner recommendation. Without hesitation the answer was Goodwood, so off we went.Perhaps it was because we were at the end of our trip, having had so many amazing meals in a short span of time, but this restaurant was probably my least favorite on our Bourbon Boys Trip. Don't get me wrong-- nothing was bad, per se; it was just all a bit lackluster. The venue was busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our server was nice, but service on the whole was a bit slow. The cocktails, a Smoked Rosemary Bourbon Sour and a Sour Buffalo, were good, but even after nursing then slowly, they were gone before our meal arrived. The blackened catfish and steak salad were good, but neither was outstanding. For me, the best part of the plate was the greens. When a side outshines an entree, I always raise an eyebrow. Like I said, maybe it was me... Or maybe it was just an "off" night. Would I go again? Yes; I would give it another chance, but my first impression is that it was just fine.

Second time I have visited Nashville, IN, in a month, and both times had a great experience. The staff is super friendly, outgoing and fun. Even the guests mingle and talk at the bar. First time i came with a girlfriend and this time brought my husband and had the best time. We got the pizza which was a huge hit!! The nacho pizza hit way over my expectations! We chose the hand tossed and the crust is delicious. A good snacker with ranch! Thanks again we will be back!

They knocked out of the park the brews were great We are stout fans and seriously the best cheese curd/cube appetizer ever (and we have had them in Wisconsin) Everyone in our party of 8 including two kiddos loved their food and had a great time. Atmosphere was cool modern interior but you got an old world pub feel with the local businesses that were there for a networking event held weekly.Big shout out to the team member who helped me out with singing the shortest birthday song ever It was super funny and fun New fabulous favorite place Make sure to check it out

One of Louisvilles newest breweries. Sitting in the former Chimera/Vgrits, Monkey wrench building. (Yes I'm that old lol). It's in the Highlands so, that means plenty of street parking and they still have the same small parking lot. I been twice already and I must say I do like this place. It still has some of the same look from the previous business. They do have food and I have heard about the Fried PB&J I have yet to try. So far my favorite beer is the Beer Me Kolsch. I do like the atmosphere here, and they have a big tv behind the bar where they show either movies or anime. Absolutely like the people here and you will definitely feel like you belong here because what could go Awry? Lol

"Food was amazing!! Ambiance was something very nice that wasn't expected! They have their own brewery and so many selections of beer and mixed drinks! Siera was our waitress and she was nothing but phenomenal! Being from West Texas, we had no idea how to even pronounce the town name correctly. She laughed with us, visited with us and made our entire visit great!! Highly, highly recommend!!"
"On multiple trips to Bardstown, my wife and I had planned to visit Scout and Scholar Brewing. Each time we were unable due to wait times, etc.So while attending The Bourbon Festival, we were able to get a table.I ordered the bangers and mash and my wife enjoyed her fried chicken sandwich. Both entrees had great taste. I enjoyed various samplings of their beers...while my Wife enjoyed a bourbon on the rocks. My beers had great flavor and went well with my Bangers and Mash. All in all , eating at Scout and Scholar was worth the wait.I cannot forget the shout out our server. She was fantastic."
"Hey Fellow Hoosiers, this one is for you. Ten20 Craft brewery has come to Clarksville and it's worth a visit.First, Ten20 sports 12 taps with their own beers and a seltzer. Not into beer? Craft cocktails and wine are on the menu. When you are having libations, food is in order and Ten20 has you covered with Mozza Pi pizzas. We stopped in for a drink or two and did not dine but the pizzas looked great.I tried a flight (four 5 ounce pours) and each beer was tasty. Not something you can count on at brewpubs.Parking is ample, seating is comfortable, with a few sofas and lounge chairs as well, and several big screens for your viewing pleasure.Looking for a comfortable, clean place that offers drinks everyone will like? Give Ten20 brewery in Clarksville a visit!"
"I was in town for work. Goodwood was recommended by several people here and it did not disappoint!!! I really wanted fish and chips BUT the pub on 2nd is clearly all drinks. I came here and was not expecting such an amazing fish and chips! The fish were huge! The service by Carly was spot on and on par for a top tier restaurant! This is the view I had, priceless!"
"Hello Everyone:We stopped at Goodwood Brewing for their Stout and also some beer cheese and pretzels.Analysis:The Bavarian pretzel was very nice, not too much salt, and easy to break into smaller pieces to dip into the Lager beer cheese so every bit had some cheese! The beer cheese was quite good. Just the right amount of tang to it, thick (did not run off the pretzels), and a nice overall complex flavor.Their brand of stout was one of the best we have had. Tasted of chocolate, toffee and coffee. I can even see this poured over some vanilla ice cream or infused into an espresso layer cake. :-) Very nice brew. We are in the process of trying to find some for sale locally where we live in Arizona. The reason for the four stars (and not five) was because the restrooms were dirty and it was fairly warm inside the building (and it was very hot and humid outside so we were looking forward to cooling off). Considering we stopped in about 11:30 am, we would not expect this to be an issue. Because the ambient room temperature made our beer warm up faster than we would have liked. But, a fun place to stop in, order their Stout, some large soft pretzels and some beer cheese and enjoy!"
"Louisville has so many new and fabulous Breweries! We decided we are starting a Friday brew pub crawl. This past Friday one on the list was Gallant Fox! Happy to say it really was my favorite. The beautiful thing is they have a full bar. If you are heading to a bar and one of your friends isn't a beer drinker, low and behold, plenty of fabulous bourbons to be found here! Our bartender was fabulous. Great little crowd of people. Even dog friendly! One dog she was excellent and I would 10/10 dog sit for her! They recommended mixing also! That's right, mixing some of the tap beers. I had a nice Sir Galahad stout! I love the stouts and porters in the fall and winter. It was really delicious! I tried the jelly of the month, the blueberry mixed with the Nutty by nature! What a fabulous combo! Peanut butter and jelly in a glass! The bar is nice, quick service. Clean bathrooms. I would totally come back to enjoy some more combos! The beers were delicious!"
"Beers good staff are nice. They have gluten free crusts and my wife who is Celiac hasn't gotten sick which is always a gold star in our book."
"Came in for a few beers and had a lovely time. Staff is awesome. Just a nice place to spend some time"
"Maybe 1 of my favorite brew spots in the area, tucked among multiple eateries, and offering a variety of beers at very low price, I highly recommend checking it out and trying the different beers and even taking some cans toGo. A great spots tucked with a variety of eateries to have while enjoying a bunch different beers from pizza, to Mexican, and everything in between at very moderately prices. The service was great and staff at tentative and I was really surprised How low the bill was for What we drank and even the few cans we purchased to have later back at the house."
"A perfect afternoon break, I popped in to Upland after checking out the adjacent bridge and enjoyed a beer before continuing my journey. Sitting at the bar, I found a power outlet and connected to the wifi for an hour or so.Quiet, comfortable, great service and the beer was refreshing. [Review 20526 overall - 71 in Indiana - 1507 of 2023.]"
"We stopped in on a Monday for lunch for adult beverages and pizza. The service was pretty slow and the restaurant was only half filled. I tried the Gatherer pizza on a cauliflower crust. The crust was crisped perfectly, and the veggies were cooked to perfection/ not soggy. The mixed drinks were delicious and served in a ball jar. We were happy with food and drinks. The waitress did not come by frequently, so if you visit....consider ordering double drinks, an appetizer and don't be in a hurry."
"UK game night, everyplace was packed but we found seats at the bar here. They have a big selection of craft beers. We are lite beer and wine drinkers but found something. We ordered the pork tacos with a bowl of chili. The chili was good, the cornbread would have been better if warm. We then ordered the pretzel which was huge, could use more salt and definitely liked the beer cheese over the mustard.Drinks were flowing, tried the KY Sangria, pretty good but sour. Our bar neighbors had salmon and salad, looked very good."
"Waitress was amazing as soon as we walked in explaining everything and inviting us back for their live music. Food was delicious and the fries were some of the absolute best."
"I had dinner here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised--the food was fantastic! I ordered the Charbroiled Chicken Breast entree and loved that there was an option to add an extra piece. For sides, I went with broccoli, which was perfectly cooked, and fries that were some of the best I've had. Our server was wonderful, and the food came out quickly, great experience. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu next time."
"Gallant Fox Brewing is a very nice little microbrewery stuck in the middle of one of Kentucky's quaint little towns. There's nothing flashy or commercial about it which makes it a great destination if you are into locally made micro breweries. While Kentucky is well know for it's bourbon industry, the microbreweries popping up all over the state are more welcoming for those who don't care for whiskeys. We decided to take my in-laws on a day trip to the Mt. Washington Farmer's Market and drop in for a bite to eat. We were a little concerned about the noise level because we saw it on a few reviews. We decided to go when they opened and the noise level was not an issue. If that's a concern, I recommend going on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The food was on the upscale bar food side. We started with the pretzel and no matter what else you get from the menu, the pretzel is a must. It was so buttery and delicious. It had just enough bite to not be too rubbery and just enough crispness on the outside without being too dry. The sandwiches were good and the portions were perfect for us. There was nothing stellar about the sandwiches. The servers were very kind and helpful and we had a wonderful afternoon. They are a relatively new business and still have a couple minor kinks to work out but they are well on their way to being a fantastic destination to go if you are ever on a tour of Kentucky or on the Bourbon Trail. They are located roughly 40 minutes just south of Louisville, KY and the drive is very nice once you get past Fern Creek (A Louisville suburb)."
"I went with a friend. I had the LSB cider and it was so good. It is a raspberry cider, I think. We went on a Saturday early evening and were able to get bar seats. The bar has a good selection of drinks and food. They also have little slot machines! The service was quick and efficient. I have gone twice in less than a month."
"A neighbor and I went yesterday afternoon to check the new place out. We were the first ones in the door at 4pm and by the time we left, the place was packed. They have a good selection of beers on tap and the beer menu is a QR code that circulates from customer to customer. It was a little cold and dreary outside and we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor patio area. It looked great with several areas to sit and a large fire pit.Looking forward to visit again, once they open their inside food service, Holler Burger. For now, they have teamed up with Apollo Pizza to get food delivered in to their location. You can order at Blue Stallion and Apollo will bring your food over to you."
"Went there for lunch with some friends today. I had the fish and chips, they had the tenderloin sandwich. Everything was simply amazing! My fish was absolutely crispy on the outside, tender, and juicy on the inside. The house made tartar sauce made the dish complete. It was accompanied by housemaid fries, which were absolutely fantastic. I wish I had thought to take a picture before I devoured my lunch. The service is always fantastic at this place. I love going there in the summer when you can sit on the patio. But the inside is beautifully decorated with amazing murals and just an overall great vibe."
