"This is solely based on my 30 minutes there while I was on a call sitting at the bar drinking two old fashions. Service was great, bartender let me choose my whiskey for the old fashion. Was checked on quoted often between the two bartenders and host since it was between service hours (3:45pm). The gal next to me from out of town ordered some sides of Mac n Cheese, Asparagus and French Fries for her meal and it did smell delicious."
"This is where you bring your out of town family so they'll complain about something other than your relationship status. Flavors are solid. Presentation is hit or miss. Prices have increased about 5 bucks an entree since 2021ish. This is all to be expected. Your folks from the sticks will bitch about the price. They'll complain about the fusion foods (though they'll call it something else). They'll fuss about the decor. They are wrong. It's lovely. But don't worry, the whole family is welcome!Your uncle that calls your same sex spouse your "roommate" will be able to order his bud light. The staff may not judge him for this. Don't worry, I will. I'll be the one with the whole Brie appetizer and a glass of wine appreciating the show. Don't worry, Tiger, you got this."

"Came for late dinner Friday night. There were a lot of people waiting for seats by the door but since I was by myself got a seat at the bar immediately. Got the mojo shrimp plate, it was good, not amazing. The bar didn't have that much choice for non-alcoholic drinks besides soda and jarritos. I asked if they had a chicha morada (peruvian purple corn drink) and the server has never heard of it. I've had better peruvian food in other cities, this is ok. Service was good and food arrived fast."
"Amazing date night spot. We stopped here before a concert and had curry ramen and a chicken sandwich. We also had egg rolls, but we devoured those before I got a photo (there were 3 in the order). It was busy in the restaurant, so I'm glad we made a reservation ahead of time. Service was great. Highly recommend!"
"I'm sorry it took me so long to review this place. We came for a dinner months ago and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! It was an expensive dinner but still really worth it with all sorts of good food especially the meat. We started coming here for brunch every now and then. We would always make a reservation but it was never usually that busy even on weekends. I brought the in-laws here recently and they also thoroughly enjoyed it! We usually get the pot roast breakfast or the breakfast tacos or one of the breakfast salads. Always good to get an empanada that goes with it. I wish I could remember exactly what they were called but that's the gist of what we usually get. Steak and eggs is also a favorite. We are never disappointed! Food is always good and high quality. Brunch prices are also pretty fair. Ambience is friendly and our waitress near the bar was great. You could tell she had been out staying up a little bit late the night before but she was just sarcastic and fun! Definitely returning plenty of times in the future."
"My experience here was easily 5 out of 5. Food, service & ambience was all top notch!I had the Sammy's Cuban with slaw. This Cuban had pulled pork AND ham with Swiss cheese and grilled pineapple. The sourdough bun perfectly grilled topped this bad boy off! This is an exceptionally delicious Cuban! My son had the Party of 3. He got to pick 3 burger styles to try. He selected: Anthony Munoz legendary burger: a mix of beef burger and chorizo, bacon, corn fritters, pepper Jack cheese, greens and tomato. Wow! Luncho burger: mozzarella cheese chimichurri sauce, lettuce and tomato. Ooo! Fire in the Hole burger. Not super hot but it was one great burger. Pepper Jack cheese, chipotle adobo, breaded jalapeño, field greens and tomato. We also had Mexican street corn and fiesta fries. Both were unique and delicious! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'"
"Amazing food! Amazing service! The turkey burger is my favorite item here. I haven't eaten outside yet but the atmosphere is pleasant. Parking could be better but it's honestly worth driving around for a spot."
"You just have to love the atmosphere. I have been to a number of old pubs in England and this harkens back to those days. The lobby and the restaurant are so darn comforting that I hate to leave. Mariemont, itself, is modeled after an old English village concept by Mary Emery. The Exemplar restaurant sits inside the Mariemont Inn - an old half-timbered and brick building. The food is some of the best in the area. I go often just for their omelettes and variations of eggs Benedict. I eat out almost every day and this warm, inviting, and comfortable place is on the top of my list. The quality is consistent. In addition, the wine list is varied - in a good way. I especially like the Chateau Montelena and the Super Tuscan. I strongly recommend that you give the National Exemplar a try."
"A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding. My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. With dessert I had a sauterne and really liked it as well. Our service was impeccable and Kyle coursed it out for us and did not miss a beat. The portions were also very nicely sized. We would definitely go back. I highly recommend."
"Food was great, had a brick oven pizza. Great service, cute garage door patio. Adding words to end review."
"Always a fun time to play games and eat American style foods.I enjoyed the Mac attack tacos, they were filled with yummy Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The honey chicken tacos were a little too spicy for my taste but other wise tasty. They offer good options for a kids menu, with sides and drink $7 plus four play coins. They can get pretty busy so go early for no wait, but there's games to play while you wait"
"We were lucky with fantastic patio weather and were able to enjoy the outdoors for dinner. The main negative is all the loud cars driving by but otherwise it's pleasant. My husband and I split a few dishes and everything was delicious. We had a steak tostada, ahi tuna, skirt steak with chimichurri and scallops. I would recommend any of these dishes. The service was exceptional and the manager even came by our table to see how we were doing. All in all this was such a lovely experience and we will be back."

My wife and I stopped here last year for an impromptu early evening date. It was very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. So last night we were walking past it on the way home from a symphony and I mentioned to my son that I got the worlds smallest drink there (it was also delicious) and I guess I said it too loud, because a worker (I think, maybe the owner, maybe a patron) invited me in for a regular size drink! I had to decline because my son is underage and we were extremely tired, but I can't stop worrying that I sounded like I didn't like the place and/or the drink. The truth is this place is GREAT. The food is great, AND even my tiny drink was amazing (I had multiple!). Can't recommend this enough!

After hearing so many folks rave about the food here, and their versatility of making dishes gluten-free and dairy-free, I finally made it to this establishment.I ordered the Shanghai Stir-Fry with the tamari sauce on the side (this sauce is the gluten-free option they offer for this dish). The dish is very flavorful, even without the sauce, a tad spicy. The vegetables were very fresh and the rice cooked perfectly. This dish could feed 2-3 people, a very large portion for the price. My companion ordered the Moroccan Lamb Chops, a side of mashed potatoes, and a side of roasted potatoes. They enjoyed the lamb chops and mashed potatoes, but was not a fan of the roasted potatoes nor the quinoa that accompanied the lamb chops. All portions of food were very generous for the price point. After viewing the website pics, and their menu prices, I must admit I was expecting the restaurant to be a bit more upscale. My companion and I both dressed up, and were far over dressed for this establishment. We easily could have worn jeans or sweats and blended in just fine. The walkway to the door is uneven, not conducive for walking in heels. The exterior dining area has plastic around it, to close it in for the cooler weather I gather. The restaurant is older but seemed a bit under cared for, and could use some cleaning up.We made a reservation and while waiting to be seated, two people, who were staff, nearly pushed us out of the way to get through, without saying excuse me. At first I thought they were patrons, until I later saw them refilling water glasses for patrons. Theses staff members were wearing jeans and t shirts. All of the staff wore whatever they chose, it was difficult to decipher staff from patron. I suppose all the hype from others was just that, hype. I doubt I will return to this establishment.

Great restaurant in downtown Lexington. The food is fresh and flavorful. A standout entree was the special of the night "Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas with an elote topping". The Smoked Pork tacos were a bit too spicy for me but loved the queso, guacamole, and mojitos. The crab empanadas were spicy and messy. Our last visit the hostess took her job very seriously and had us wait outside to not crowd the bar with our friends

Beat the evening rush and was able to find a table indoors. Service from the start was very amicable and prompt. Enjoyed sitting next to a fireplace on a cool night. Waiter asked about allergies and promptly gave me a menu that was off marked with gluten option and what can be made gluten free. Food was amazing, the flavors and tasted very fresh. Definitely recommend this place and hope to one day come back when in the area.

Had dinner with great friends at Che this weekend; our server, the drinks, and our empanadas were amazing! The four of us split a salad and ordered the 12 empanadas (plus one for free!). WOW! Best empanadas ever! The vibe at Che is both chill and homey - but elevated. I highly recommend!

Delicious food and amazing customer service! We ordered take-out about an hour before they closed and it was ready in 15 minutes. We ordered two Sammy's burgers to-go with a side of regular and sweet potato fries. The burgers were perfectly cooked and DELICIOUS! The price is a bit on the high end, but worth every penny. The employees were friendly and engaged us in meaningful and fun conversation! Next time, we'll have to dine-in. The interior of the restaurant is soccer themed and seems very cozy!

"Commenting for carry out - really liked their tacos and there are many to choose from. The tacos were very fresh, tasted great, and were above average in size. Our to go order was also done without the promised time. Only reason for 4 stars is the cost - $7 per taco when people sell burritos for that price."
"The Tap is conveniently located downtown, making it a great spot to visit. They offer good food options and an impressive variety of drinks. A solid choice for a meal or a night out!"
"We received a $10 off meal coupon as a gift and decided to check this place out. We are so glad that we did. First let me share that everything is homemade at this establishment and that makes it extra special for me. Knowing that they take that extra step means a lot. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a teacher it's his second job to help support his family, I appreciated how he made us feel welcomed and how he provided us with insight about the restaurant and their food. Clean, busy and friendly is how I would sum it up. Good food and drinks. We will return too!"
"If you're in the mood for a massive burger and some killer fries, Gordos is the place to go. This spot has a menu full of unique burgers that are guaranteed to fill you up. The patties are thick, juicy, and come with all sorts of toppings. The fries are golden and crispy, making them the perfect side. The vibe at Gordos is laid-back, with a dive bar feel. There's a parking lot right next to the restaurant, so it's super easy to get in and out. If you're into big burgers, great fries, and a no-frills atmosphere, Gordos is the spot for you."
"THIS PLACE! We had one of be best dinners of our lives last night. I asked on Facebook where I should take Lauren to celebrate her kicking butt in everything and @jamesmkarlson recommended @butcherandbarrel. So we booked a reservation and OMG. They made it such a special experience for Lauren. Jennifer (adore her) started out seating us with a note congratulating her, a little bracelet, and non alcoholic champagne she was ecstatic. Like, come on, how freaking adorable is that! Now the food....we went HAM. *Tuna tartare with fried avocado, hearts of Palms, jalapeño crema, and rice crisps. Lauren ate it all! I had one bite. *truffled deviled eggs. Lauren doesn't even like deviled eggs. These were for me. She said it was one of her favorite things. *Lobster bruschetta. Rich, buttery, and fresh. My favorite appetizer. Then the main drop. Australian A5 Wagyu cooked to mother freaking perfection. I died. Then they surprised us with a dessert trio. * hazelnut fig jam crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is our favorite dessert of all time and this was one of the best ones. I asked him if he got the recipe from Jimmy Gibson before he passed away because it tasted just like Jimmy Gs. And if you're in Cincy, you know what I'm talking about.* tiramisu. We were stuck, but we somehow managed to get this down also. Toffee and chocolate mousse and everything you want it to be.* Cream puff with a lemon sauce and berries. It was the perfect ending to such a phenomenal meal. It was light, but it was good and thank God we walked a mile and a half to from the red stadium because we were beyond full. I recommend! The food was outstanding. I love little tapas plates for the price and selection. I've never really had much Argentinian food, but this was next level. I can't wait to go back."
"Nice spot at the top of the Hilton Garden Inn. Friendly service, good food. Lots of TV's inside for sports etc."
"In town for business and wanted a quick dinner. Saw GB nearby and stopped in early. I was greeted by friendly staff, seated quickly and got the scoop on their craft beer and before you know it, I've got a great drink and fish and chips in front of me. The beer was fantastic, a winterbock that was really smooth. Fish and chips were solid. Really nice experience and great value."
"It was a fairly quiet weeknight and I sat toward the end of the bar in front of a tv. The bartender was very helpful with the drinks and menu. They had quite a drink menu to start with so I opted for an Oktoberfest flight. For a started I got the sausage sampler. I liked 2 or the 3 sausages. For dinner the menu was huge with many great options so I decided to get a three meals with 2 sides: Goulash, Beef Stroganoff, & Smoked Pork Chop - 8 Oz.All the food was excellent. I personally enjoyed the pork chop and stroganoff the best. Good meal in a great traditional German restaurant."
"Food and service were great. Found this place sort of by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Will go to this spot again."
"Service was fantastic... And usually is as this wasn't my first visit, but I am definitely not a regular. The ambience is good in the sense that it's what you expect an excellent barbecue joint to be. The brisket sandwich was delicious in flavor and the texture of the meat was outstanding, the bun was a perfect compliment and their barbecue sauce consistently good as far as recollection serves me... The hillbilly wontons were a little disappointing, but not because of the flavor, but because of the steam causing the wonton to be less crunchy than I would have hoped, however, being a foodie... The realization hits that it would be very hard to make a wonton with that much going on inside of it not steam from the inside... So we will base the flavor as being what is rated and it was delicious, but I will likely not order again because of the technical difficulty in steaming a brisket stuffed wonton. I would say keep up the good work, but being a staple in the community...I am certain it goes without saying!"
"Finally tried brunch at Sarino's after numerous dinner visits and couldn't believed I hadn't reviewed it.The house made focaccia and oil side is my favorite appetizer, the salmon is and you can't go wrong with any of the house made pastas with generous portions. For brunch with tried the Benedict, breakfast pizza and a cannoli for desert. The pizza was delicious and well sized. The eggs Benedict was smaller but very good and a bit spicy. And the cannoli- as good as it looks."
"Every visit I've made here has been great. It's such a cute space with nice patio for better weather days. They have excellent happy hour options. Food wise, I've tried several things on the menu and always delicious. Servers are friendly and make great recommendations if you don't know what you want. Definitely recommend this for a nice meal out."
"I hate to be basic like this, but some friends and I went out to have what ended up being a "girl dinner" recently. Ya know what, scratch that, I will proudly admit that "girl dinner" -- a dinner mostly composed of several appetizers -- may be my new favorite thing. And Martini Italian Bistro was a great place for this. We ordered several: baked goat cheese, spinach al forno and bruschetta plus the caprese salad (definitely shareable) and a margherita pizza. These came out quick, and our waiter was a help recommending what we should order. My favorite was the spinach al forno and caprese. I could eat those any day. We also got cocktails (of course). I got a cocktail with berries and bourbon in it. Would definitely recommend. It also helped that we were easily able to get a table.Martini Italian Bistro is a solid dining option in the Paddock Shops."
"I have only been here for brunch, but I definitely want to go back for more. I'm basic and looove brunching on the weekends. The Hub is such a cool, relaxed spot (during the day at least... It turns into a club in the evenings). I try not to overstuff myself at brunch to save room for the cocktails of course, so I opted for the avocado toast. So YUMMY! Sourdough, sweet pepper relish, arugula, chili oil, soft boiled egg, and sea salt. It can also come vegan, as well. And then for the brunch cocktail deals.... Single mimosa $2Double mimosa $4Bottle $14Not sure you can beat that!! Great place for brunch.. or even their drag brunches!"
"It had been a while since I last came, but I recently popped in for lunch with the fam and we all had great meals! Better than I remembered it. Flavors were rich and portion sizes were appropriate. Very happy we came. Food came out in good time, after that the service was a little absent but it was fine. Strong incense-like smell when we arrived (didn't smell like food) but I dunno, it didn't subtract anything. Again, very happy and I recommend you give Tandoori Fusion a try."
"I've been hearing a lot about this place for a but and remember when it was the Green Derby. I remember hearing about it when it was at Dayton, but never made it over.Came in tonight at 5 on the dot since it was since it was Valentine's Day weekend and we didn't have a reservation. Big upgrade from derby for sure! Very well decorated.Sat down and waited a minute but they were trying to figure out the 30 guests that just walked in. Good sign right! Talked to Dillon, bartender, and gave us a good description of everything and suggested some drinks. We had about all of them lol. Great bourbon selection. Honestly never had chicken cock but was really good. That's a bourbon FYI Ordered some apps..biscuits, fondue, and Caesar. First off thought caesar was, is this a Caesar salad. Omg l, so good. Friend even commented on how it was. The star for me though was the blue cheese fondue, I could have just had a plate of that. Had the biscuits and they were also good. Didn't each much of those as trying to slow down on the carbs. Again, fondue hands down the best!!Entrees were a special of halibut..so freaking good!! The fried chicken my friend had was great but don't know I would say the best, that's a steep one. Had some bred puddin too so don't miss out. Honest opinion 4.5, nothing is perfect, well, mostly. Great atmosphere and I'll definitely be back and I will tell all my friends !"
"It's been a hot minute since I was last at Down One, which in my opinion is a bit of a hidden treasure downtown. Since the seating is below street level it can be easily overlooked. But don't sleep on this spot! A group of girls and I went here before seeing a play at Actors Theatre and had such a wonderful time. We got a table on the patio, and our server was very prompt, getting us what we needed considering we had a show to make. And the star of the meal was the Smothered Nachos, with pork or beef (we chose beef), queso, cilantro crema and pico de gallo. I would get these as my entree. They were that good and that filling. And second to the nachos was the awesome Old Fashioned I enjoyed. As you could imagine, Down One knows a thing or two about bourbon. This definitely help set the mood for a fun night. Looking forward to coming back!"
"This place was on a side street. You would have to specifically be looking for this place to get to it. The service was pretty slow. After we ordered, the food seemed like it took forever to come out. We went on a Monday and maybe that's a slower day for them. The food was delicious though. I got the chicken vindaloo with medium spice. It was really good. The kid got chicken wings and fries. He said his was really good too. Said it tasted like Kroger chicken lol which he likes. He got his way before ours. I would go again but hopefully they are faster. I felt like we was in there forever."
"Toasty's! Such a Louisville favorite! And now I understand why. I got lunch here with a friend earlier this month. We got a table outside on their shaded patio, and our servers were friendly and helpful. And I got the dish I hear about most for Toasty's: the cheeseburger. This is made with a smashed patty, griddled onions, iceberg lettuce, American cheese, Pop's Pickles and Toasty's Sauce. Everything on this burger worked so well together. The burger was juicy. The toppings brought out complimenting flavors. The bun was perfectly soft. I also loved the fries that it came with! Toasty's also has a great drinks list. I'm excited to go back and enjoy perhaps a weekend night on the patio."
"Revisited Eppings for happy hour with a friend after my last experience a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. We got the around 4 :30 on a Thursday and were sat immediately. Our server Nigel was phenomenal and the food was better than I remember. The blue crab bisque is my favorite thing. You MUST order it! The small plates we ordered to share were: the rosemary focaccia, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, arugula and beet salad that was on special. Everything was tasty although some things did take a while to get to our table. There was some confusion with the desserts (I ordered a butterscotch bourdine that was on special but received a apple cake) so I won't review them but overall a lovely experience. Ask for Nigel."
"Mojito in Havana is where good vibes and strong drinks come to party. The margaritas here are no joke--they're so strong, they could probably bench-press your bad day. And on Wednesdays, they're half-price, which means twice the fun (and maybe twice the wobble on your way out). The food? Top-notch. The Pinchos del Solomillo and Grilled Veggies Platter are like edible hugs, and the Cuban Vegetariano could convert even the most skeptical carnivore. The guacamole with plantain chips? Always a win--like a tropical twist on chips and dip, but fancier. The outdoor area is massive and recently remodeled, complete with a charming fountain that makes you feel like you're dining in a postcard. Winter, please hurry up and leave--I need that patio in my life!"
"Drake's is our go-to spot for consistently great food! Their BLT salad is hands-down the best--so fresh and flavorful with the perfect mix of crisp lettuce, smoky bacon, and juicy tomatoes. We always add their grilled chicken, which is tender, perfectly cooked, and never disappoints. The quality is top-notch every single time we visit, and it's a dish we all look forward to. The service is always friendly and efficient, making every visit enjoyable. Plus, the ambiance is such a fun mix of casual and lively, perfect for a family outing or a laid-back night out. If you're looking for a fresh, satisfying meal in a great atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Drake's!"
"This place has been great every time we've gotten food here. We've only ever gotten takeout, but it's been an awesome experience each time. We are pretty basic, but we love the naan, the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. We love the flavor, portion, and spice level. We really are very lucky to have a place like this in Etown. Any time we have a craving for Indian food, we know Namaste is here for us and is consistently great. We'll have to eat in one of these days!"
