"I've heard of this place and drove by it a few times. I never really had a desire to come here but after seeing specials on their Facebook page I decided to come here. This place is located near a busy street and some neighborhoods. Parking was no issue at the time I went which was late morning/early afternoon. I walk in and it's a little busy but not too bad. There are tables throughout the place and it looks like there is plenty of bar seating w/o tables being pushed up to them. That should end soon. The place was clean and well kept. It wasn't very long before I was waited on and I ordered their taco Tuesday special. I was told of the different flavors of chicken but, I just went with grilled chicken, and I ordered a steak taco as well and a $3 Margarita. They had regular, strawberry and mango frozen or on the rocks. I ordered a frozen Mango to start off with and it tasted just like mango. I got my tacos a short time later. I told Marsha who was behind the bar that I may order more tacos if I liked these and she was perfectly ok with it. I got my tacos w/o Pico and slaw. It just had shredded cheese and some kind of sauce. Both tacos were good but, I liked the chicken better so I ordered 2 more chicken tacos. They were only $1.49 a piece for dine in only. I also got a strawberry Margarita in the rocks, it was good but I think I would have liked it better frozen. Marsha was just wonderful my whole visit. I could tell she knew everyone else but me because she asked if I have ever been there before, I hadn't but was glad to try a new place. I can tell it's a neighborhood bar because she knew everyone and everyone knew everyone else. I really do want to come back and try their other food like their pizza they have advertised up front in the parking lot. I also saw a pizza cheeseburger that I want to try next time. I thank Marsha for my wonderful first experience in the place. I do look forward to coming back here whether it's on taco Tuesday or a different day."
"Service was great. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. All of our food came out quickly. The menu was diverse with something for everyone. Desserts are made in house and change regularly. We didn't order cocktails, but it looked like they had a fully stocked bar where you could watch a game. We'll be back!"

"Great local bar! I'm from Chicago and was happy to find this place, thanks to Yelp! Highly recommended."
"I can't pass by a small town tavern without checking out the tenderloin sandwiches. This locally owned bar/grill is located in the heart of Napoleon, Indiana. The place is not fancy, actually a little dated, but clean and welcoming. There is a full bar with photos of the regulars hanging around. Electronic games, a jukebox, an atm, tv monitors and more are scattered around the various rooms of dining tables. Country music fills the air.Our servers were friendly and attentive. The food took about 15 minutes to prep and appear at our table. The servers checked on us frequently. We ordered breaded tenderloin sandwiches with onion rings. One of the servers told us that the pork was locally sourced and hand battered. Other regulars, next to us, recommended the onion rings as a side. The tenderloin was not pounded thin, but thick and juicy. The breading was light and flavorful. The bun did not hold up well, but it was fresh. The onion rings were amazing. The helping was generous and the breading was a light beer batter. It was a great meal made with local ingredients. The building is smoke free, but there is a patio that appears to allow smoking behind the main building. The rest rooms were super clean. There is street parking and and plenty of parking behind the building."
"Lucky enough to find this little jem after our day of bourbon touring! There is nothing better than a local restaurant with great service, cold beer, an exciting menu selection that matches the food delivered!"
"Firehouse Grill is near Embassy Suites and a group of 15+ people decided to walk there for dinner. We didn't have any issue being seated (thankful). Our group snagged a few high top tables and we had a couple of team members taking our food and drink orders. The environment is casual and overall the restaurant is bright with several TVs scattered to watch sports. We did experience a lengthy wait in getting our first round of drinks as well as being asked about appetizers. So long in fact that we skipped the appetizers and moved ahead with ordering meals. However, once we got started the food came out quickly and we only had to hunt down one person's meal.I opted for the street tacos, picking chicken and pork. Delicious! And not overdone on the toppings, which I appreciated so that it didn't take away from the meat. We also loved the side of fries - and there's plenty to share. Plenty of beers on draft too! Thanks to the team for taking good care of our large group. I'd recommend it for yours!"
"This is my second visit to the 'we Boston Tavern. I came (both times) with a group on a retreat to St Mienrad. It is a close drive from St Mienrad. They have a fairly good selection of standard American beers and a few crafts to choose from as well. There is outdoor seating in the back - we're we sat. I asked the waitress to make my selection for me. She selected the Signature Burger - something on the menu, but they will make it when they are not too busy. It was very good. A bacon cheese burger with fried jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The burger was good, the German fries were good too. Many people in my group had the pork chops. They all said how amazing they were. Great service, great food, great fun."
"The owner of this bar owns the now extinct Bromley yacht club. It's a dive bar but it's warm and friendly and have a nice menu. They have a huge outside area and a side porch. I love the neighborhood bar."
"Hit up the hi-mark for the first time tonight and thought it was a great hang. Good vibes in the place and it's a cool space. Lots of tvs for sports. Cool beer signs for decor. Parked around the back. Fried pickles were nice. The loaded fries were the highlight. The fries stayed crispy and the generous with the toppings. The bbq dry rub wings were crispy and meaty. I do wish they came with a side of clue cheese. Draft beer could've been colder but still hit the spot. The service was attentive and great. The food arrived quickly. I want to go back for a game."
"Mama Tequila is an interesting concept by the same folks that own El Rancho Tapatio. Mexican restaurant by day and then at 10pm converts into a full blown dance club. I was intrigued to try it out but finding a menu online was a chore as they don't really seem to promote their food offerings anywhere. If you are looking for basket after basket of chips and salsa you'll want to look elsewhere. Chips and salsa are on the menu but are a paid appetizer. I've saw other reviews mention lime margaritas but the menu we were given only had more upscale cocktails which was a bit odd compared to a menu of everyday Mexican entrees. Being a new restaurant they are still working out some service kinks but nothing that was an issue. While the food was good, it is likely a one and done for me unless I'm in the area for an event and just can't do without some tacos. Overall though it was nothing exceptional so not worth paying the downtown location markup on prices vs just going to their other location."
"Pizza here are soooo crunchy! Sad they didnt have the chicken and waffle pizza but they definitely know how to make their pizza!"
"Smyrna inn is a long time staple of the highview area of Louisville Kentucky. Has kinda a neighborhood bar feel to it with a smallish parking lot and inside. I've only been here in a few occasions in the past but the workers and patrons are always a nice. Traditional bar and does offer some food options with some cookouts they have for bikers sometimes. I've been here on one of this nights and the hot dogs were good. The design of this bar is unique. My buddy and me joke it reminded us of walking into our grandmas as ir has a downstairs basement that is small with low ceilings and a pool table. Overall pretty solid place. Im way past my bar hoping prime days but sometimes me and the buddies like to go to a more kid back place like this one and hang out."

O Dollys is a very affordable corner bar. It has space for groups, low tops and high tops. My one issue is that parking is impossible. It's on a main road, and the location has very few spots. So if it's busy, it may be difficult to find parking. That being said, the food and service make up for that! Service is always friendly and attentive! It takes hardly anytime to get our food once it was ordered and everything comes out fresh!

I had the grilled chicken risotto with a petit arugula salad. Can I just say the chicken wasn't overcooked the risotto was perfect, the seasoning was on point. Chris has the fried haddock with fries and chow chow slaw. The fish was lightly battered and cooked perfectly, the slaw was great, and the tartar sauce was delicious. The service was very welcoming and nice. It's good to hear they will be using locally sourced products for their menus.

You can get a cold beer for a very reasonable price. The bartenders are all pretty awesome, and they all bring more than drinks to you. Aside from the exceptional service, they will treat you like a friend. Nick made me feel like I had been a regular for years, Gypsy actually performs karaoke songs while simultaneously serving drinks. I've never seen anything like her, and I've called Las Vegas home for 9 years. Jen is a super sweet girl who will make sure your glass is full. It's a small dive bar full of down to earth people, stop in, make some friends, be responsible, and tip well. This is the place to wind down for me, a hard working, family man.

Solid place for local brewery crafts, drinks, food and watching sports. Outdoor patio was nice for larger groups or family; suggest to make reservations. Indoor dining had plenty of large TV's around the bar and restaurant. Weekend live music entertainment provided. Service was friendly and attentive, but a bit slower during busy Saturday dinner hours; not a bad idea to order a couple drinks at a time if you're thirstier than usual. Variety of menu options from apps, salads, sandwiches, burgers to entree meals. Food was plentiful and flavorful, but not unique...good pub fare, perfect with drinks. Overall 3.5 rated experience for me, and meal costs $10-15pp.Tried a few apps...Pork Nachos, Pretzels, Quesadillas all tasty munchies. Ordered a Reuben sandwich that was good; but think next time I'd like to try a burger or another sandwich or meal. Check out FG&B, spacious venue and good social gathering spot, expansive craft offerings, plus variety of food and bar drinks. Enjoy!

Quite local tavern with charm. Excellent food and service. Very reasonable prices. I had the fried chicken and it was delicious. Several choices of catfish if your into that. The people at my table who tried it said it was good. Full bar, I had bourbon.

"Looked for something special to meet family coming from Lexington halfway and stumbled upon Limewater on my Yelp search. If you haven't been, go! Let me tell you why...1st star - location is beautiful on the banks of the river with a grassy knoll and view2nd star - top notch service from the staff, including extra attention for allergy issues in our party (identified during reservation and confirmed in person). They even talked about it during prep to be ready for us! For the meal, they specialize the course and made sure everyone was OK.3rd star - drink list was extensive and affordable. I had a "seasonal shrub" that was a fun surprise to find on the menu and really nice touch with the food. They have some interesting wines and other things too. Plenty of NA drink options ("mocktails") if that's your speed.4th star - food was amazing - lots of thoughtful options and courses. I started with the whipped goat cheese and beets, then moved into the pasta Primavera. SO MUCH GOOD FOOD. But you'd be missing out if you don't also try the dessert options, including the chocolate cake with housemade bourbon whipped cream (yup) or the blondie chocolate chip pie thing (it's small but mighty and comes with white chocolate vanilla ice cream).5th star - overall atmosphere in a house from the early 1800s, gender neutral restroom, porch or inside seating, and a lovely venue for celebration events in your life. So, like I said, what are you waiting for? Go give Limewater a chance!"
"a true find - the bourbon collection, the skilled bartenders, the well-diversified menu that tasted great - and finally, very fair pricing - a winner off the beaten path"
"It was a fairly quiet weeknight and I sat toward the end of the bar in front of a tv. The bartender was very helpful with the drinks and menu. They had quite a drink menu to start with so I opted for an Oktoberfest flight. For a started I got the sausage sampler. I liked 2 or the 3 sausages. For dinner the menu was huge with many great options so I decided to get a three meals with 2 sides: Goulash, Beef Stroganoff, & Smoked Pork Chop - 8 Oz.All the food was excellent. I personally enjoyed the pork chop and stroganoff the best. Good meal in a great traditional German restaurant."
"My son was served French onion soup this evening with no broth. Not joking, literally zero broth. It wasn't soup. Just sopping wet bread that tasted like a salty beef bouillon cube and a pile of cheesy croutons on top of that. It was inedible. My husbands wings were so dry. I've never tasted such dry ass chicken wings. Truly terrible.Roast beef sandwich was sad. You can get a better one at Arby's."
"Really confused as to why this place only had three stars... After a stretch of not very good BBQ, I was nervous to try a place that wasn't highly rated. All do respect to those that rated this place low, but you are wrong. My colleague and I started with the smoked wings. They were excellent. (Especially with the hot bbq sauce). He got the brisket and I got the ribs. Both were fantastic. The ribs were meaty and fell off the bone pretty easily. Great with any of the sauces. The brisket was so juicy and flavorful, you didn't need sauce. Absolutely amazing. The sides were good, not great. I had the beans and the bugaloo (sp). Beans were good and I would get them again. I'd pass on the other stuff and get the sweet potato casserole. It was great. 100% recommend this place."
"This place is like wunderbar at San Mateo. Need reservation. strict rule about photography. You have to make a reservation first. There is also a time limit for you to be at the bar. The interior is nice, and the bartender was friendly. It takes a while for them to prepare the drink. This is the first time I see bartender take time to prepare the drink and so much stuff in the in the drink. It is so amazed how many ingredients to make a cocktail. Pretty much for 30 to 45 minutes, You might only get one drink. The drink was presented beautifully. If you are in the Bloomingtoon area, you should give it a try."
"Over the last year or so, Dutch's has reopened under new ownership by the folks who own Red Feather Kitchen. This means elevated food in a revamped casual setting. There are more tables than there used to be under the previous ownership that focused more on carryout. My wife and I stopped in for a date night and sampled various dishes on the menu.We started with a wonderful cheese board ($14 for 3 kinds of cheese and accoutrements). The selection of cheeses was a great mix and we really enjoyed this delicious start to the meal.My wife spotted others snacking on the truffle popcorn ($6) and had to give it a try. The flavor was definitely unmistakable, and while it's not my favorite thing, it was at least worth a try.We split the smoke chicken sandwich ($14 with a choice of side dish). This adds pickled jalapeno, white bbq sauce, shredded lettuce, and Dutch's unique "American" cheese crumbles. This was a big sandwich and was very good. The potato salad on the side was a nice mixture of local red potato, mustard seed, and mayo.My wife also had to try their butternut squash bisque ($6) which she declared the best she's had. Overall we had a nice meal and we should be back in the future!"
"It's been a hot minute since I was last at Down One, which in my opinion is a bit of a hidden treasure downtown. Since the seating is below street level it can be easily overlooked. But don't sleep on this spot! A group of girls and I went here before seeing a play at Actors Theatre and had such a wonderful time. We got a table on the patio, and our server was very prompt, getting us what we needed considering we had a show to make. And the star of the meal was the Smothered Nachos, with pork or beef (we chose beef), queso, cilantro crema and pico de gallo. I would get these as my entree. They were that good and that filling. And second to the nachos was the awesome Old Fashioned I enjoyed. As you could imagine, Down One knows a thing or two about bourbon. This definitely help set the mood for a fun night. Looking forward to coming back!"
"What a lovely hidden gem on Williamstown Lake! The Mariana restaurant and bar is well worth the drive! The bar service was lovely. Eats were hot and fresh. Definitely a new favorite!"
"Very busty at lunch. Great waitress. I had the fish sandwich. It was ok. Nothing to brag about. I hadn't been here in quite awhile. I plan to go back and try the pulled chicken."
"We were looking for a place to watch game Saturday night, My son says this is best place in town to see UK game. Love the street tacos.Only real drawback, They ran out if several brands of beers.... Hard to believe"
"YUM! I love going to the Gaslight when I am visiting home! I highly recommend trying their food, as they have outstanding options! My personal favorite is the "Johnny Dart" sandwich, which is a corned beef sandwich with a spicy french dressing-like sauce on it; it is the BEST! Their pizza and other sandwiches are also very tasty, so I'm not sure you could go wrong. On Thursday nights they host "Open Mic Night", which is so much fun to watch! The restaurant is located in Historic Downtown Huntingburg, so I highly encourage adding it to your list of things to check out when in the area!"
"I'm sorry it took me so long to review this place. We came for a dinner months ago and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! It was an expensive dinner but still really worth it with all sorts of good food especially the meat. We started coming here for brunch every now and then. We would always make a reservation but it was never usually that busy even on weekends. I brought the in-laws here recently and they also thoroughly enjoyed it! We usually get the pot roast breakfast or the breakfast tacos or one of the breakfast salads. Always good to get an empanada that goes with it. I wish I could remember exactly what they were called but that's the gist of what we usually get. Steak and eggs is also a favorite. We are never disappointed! Food is always good and high quality. Brunch prices are also pretty fair. Ambience is friendly and our waitress near the bar was great. You could tell she had been out staying up a little bit late the night before but she was just sarcastic and fun! Definitely returning plenty of times in the future."
"I came in here on a Sunday afternoon. It was empty. The interior is pretty. My server was wonderful and attentive. The bourbon drink was good. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich. It was a large portion and delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend others to dine here."
"Slow after order! Nice atmosphere and clean. Nice neighborhood and friendly staff. Patty melt was good with generous beef patty. Could use more cheese but nice overall. Fish and chips (Frys) were big portions and cooked well! Frys were perfectly crispy and delicious!"
"I love this place - if you haven't had the Smokes Old Fashioned or the seasonal Pumpkin Old Fashioned , you are missing out. Not a biurbon drinker? The pretzels and cheese are the most delicious things imaginable. If you are hungry for something more, I recommend the fry boxes - who doesn't love a box of meat and fries? The service is top notch - if you get a chance, ask Jade about bourbon- you will be in for quite the amazing experience."
"This is a great spot for lunch. Four of us ladies in the family took my daughter to lunch for her birthday and sat outside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We started with one of the Birch's specialty cocktails followed by salads and burgers. We lingered over conversation enjoying the diffused sunlight and beautiful weather. My daughter said she and her husband love going there for dinner either at the bar or again outside under the lights hanging from the trees. My one suggestion would be for a little more comfortable chairs outside."
"We stopped in for a pre-show drink before the Craig Ferguson show. It was my first time here not for a special, private event. They have a surprisingly decent list of wine and beer. And nice list of cocktails to chose from, all of which are $10. And there are some tasty sounding food options as well! They have you covered, pre-show. If you get there early enough, that is.You order at the bar. If you are getting food, you get a number to bring back to your table and someone will deliver your food to you. If you are getting a drink, you wait at the register to get your drink. If you are ordering a cocktail, they aren't suuuper complicated, but they do take more time to make. So be patient. We had already gotten dinner somewhere else, and were just killing time before the show started. So drinks were on our menu. I got the cherry almond sour. Absolutely delicious, dangerously drinkable, and hard for me to stop after one. But I did (and switched to a disappointing rose wine which was expected because I just got the cheapest thing to follow up with). The Fella shocked me and got a mai tai! He mentioned that it was generously strong and also very tasty!Scene gets understandably and obviously busy prior to performances. If you are dead set on dining here pre-show, get here early to secure a table (as they are first come, first serve) and to give time for your food order to arrive as well as time for a potential second round. The lines can get long and take some time. And this was noted on a chilly Tuesday night...not the most attended of evenings for Kentucky Center performances. Be patient and give yourself enough time to properly enjoy your visit."
"My sis has been raving about the lemon pepper wings and she knows they are my favorite and we've not had good ones in awhile. Ordered to go & waited outside where the owners have set up tvs, seating, and heaters. Staff were nice and greeted us. They seemed to really appreciate our business. No long wait. Wings were delicious and extremely flavorful! Ordered lemon pepper and mild wings.. Will definitely be back."
"Always pleased with my food, Comes out quickly and fresh. Chips are fresh and the salsa is the best in town! Always greated with a smile, staff is attentive and friendly. I order something different every visit. Last time I had the shrimp quesadilla, the biggest camerones (shrimp) I've ever had in a quesadilla!"
"One night after having some delish pizza, we had a thought to head upstairs to Cabel and see what the buzz is all about and this place is freaking sweet! You have to walk up a flight of steps to get in there and it has a very speakeasy-of-the-21st-century-vibe if you know what I'm saying. There are couches and chairs everywhere for folks to lounge in, catch up with friends and chill out with a great drink. The night we went they had a live band playing off on the other side of the bar that provided a nice bit of ambience. We didn't watch them as we were chilling near the couches, but they were good and I can totally see coming here to see a band play any day of the week. After taking a stroll around the area to check everything out, we went to the bar and ordered us a drink. The bartender was super funny and cool. Me and Scott both ordered a Manhattan because we're bourbon drinkers and love a good one. It wasn't the speediest drink that I've ever had come out to me, however when it came out and I took a drink. Oh lord! It was almost as good as the one I got at Market Place, almost! It was amazing. Me and Scott both loved it and I really really really want another one, right now! Through and through this place is the bomb. It's a totally different scene than downstairs where Butchertown Pizza Hall is and a different vibe than the football and beer. Grab some grub downstairs and then head upstairs for a little nightcap before heading home. You won't regret it a 100% promise you!"
"I remember it being better 3 or 4 years ago, maybe the dinner menu. Flight delayed at CVG airport, stopped in for a quick drink & bite. Nice bar ambience & outdoor seating. Red pepper soup was good! Fish & Chips were alright. It was served on toast, which I thought was weird. Usually a Fish & Chips Sandwich comes on a hoagie or something bigger for the two pieces. A bit over fried. Bartender was nice & quick."
"Great place to get some good grub and beers great atmosphere great staff and it needs to make a mark in this area. It is too good to pass up."
