"I'm sorry it took me so long to review this place. We came for a dinner months ago and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! It was an expensive dinner but still really worth it with all sorts of good food especially the meat. We started coming here for brunch every now and then. We would always make a reservation but it was never usually that busy even on weekends. I brought the in-laws here recently and they also thoroughly enjoyed it! We usually get the pot roast breakfast or the breakfast tacos or one of the breakfast salads. Always good to get an empanada that goes with it. I wish I could remember exactly what they were called but that's the gist of what we usually get. Steak and eggs is also a favorite. We are never disappointed! Food is always good and high quality. Brunch prices are also pretty fair. Ambience is friendly and our waitress near the bar was great. You could tell she had been out staying up a little bit late the night before but she was just sarcastic and fun! Definitely returning plenty of times in the future."

Mariemont, itself, is modeled after an old English village concept by Mary Emery. The Exemplar restaurant sits inside the Mariemont Inn - an old half-timbered and brick building.The food is some of the best in the area. I go often just for their omelettes and variations of eggs Benedict. I eat out almost every day and this warm, inviting, and comfortable place is on the top of my list. The quality is consistent. In addition, the wine list is varied - in a good way. I especially like the Chateau Montelena and the Super Tuscan. I strongly recommend that you give the National Exemplar a try."

"A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding.My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. With dessert I had a sauterne and really liked it as well. Our service was impeccable and Kyle coursed it out for us and did not miss a beat. The portions were also very nicely sized. We would definitely go back. I highly recommend."

They made it such a special experience for Lauren. Jennifer (adore her) started out seating us with a note congratulating her, a little bracelet, and non alcoholic champagne she was ecstatic. Like, come on, how freaking adorable is that! Now the food....we went HAM. *Tuna tartare with fried avocado, hearts of Palms, jalapeño crema, and rice crisps. Lauren ate it all! I had one bite. *truffled deviled eggs. Lauren doesn't even like deviled eggs. These were for me. She said it was one of her favorite things. *Lobster bruschetta. Rich, buttery, and fresh. My favorite appetizer. Then the main drop. Australian A5 Wagyu cooked to mother freaking perfection. I died. Then they surprised us with a dessert trio. * hazelnut fig jam crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is our favorite dessert of all time and this was one of the best ones. I asked him if he got the recipe from Jimmy Gibson before he passed away because it tasted just like Jimmy Gs. And if you're in Cincy, you know what I'm talking about.* tiramisu. We were stuck, but we somehow managed to get this down also. Toffee and chocolate mousse and everything you want it to be.* Cream puff with a lemon sauce and berries. It was the perfect ending to such a phenomenal meal. It was light, but it was good and thank God we walked a mile and a half to from the red stadium because we were beyond full. I recommend! The food was outstanding. I love little tapas plates for the price and selection. I've never really had much Argentinian food, but this was next level. I can't wait to go back."

The hillbilly wontons were a little disappointing, but not because of the flavor, but because of the steam causing the wonton to be less crunchy than I would have hoped, however, being a foodie... The realization hits that it would be very hard to make a wonton with that much going on inside of it not steam from the inside... So we will base the flavor as being what is rated and it was delicious, but I will likely not order again because of the technical difficulty in steaming a brisket stuffed wonton. I would say keep up the good work, but being a staple in the community...I am certain it goes without saying!"

Honestly never had chicken cock but was really good. That's a bourbon FYI Ordered some apps..biscuits, fondue, and Caesar. First off thought caesar was, is this a Caesar salad. Omg l, so good. Friend even commented on how it was. The star for me though was the blue cheese fondue, I could have just had a plate of that. Had the biscuits and they were also good. Didn't each much of those as trying to slow down on the carbs. Again, fondue hands down the best!!Entrees were a special of halibut..so freaking good!! The fried chicken my friend had was great but don't know I would say the best, that's a steep one. Had some bred puddin too so don't miss out. Honest opinion 4.5, nothing is perfect, well, mostly. Since the seating is below street level it can be easily overlooked.But don't sleep on this spot! A group of girls and I went here before seeing a play at Actors Theatre and had such a wonderful time. We got a table on the patio, and our server was very prompt, getting us what we needed considering we had a show to make. And the star of the meal was the Smothered Nachos, with pork or beef (we chose beef), queso, cilantro crema and pico de gallo. I would get these as my entree. They were that good and that filling. And second to the nachos was the awesome Old Fashioned I enjoyed. As you could imagine, Down One knows a thing or two about bourbon. This definitely help set the mood for a fun night. We got a table outside on their shaded patio, and our servers were friendly and helpful.And I got the dish I hear about most for Toasty's: the cheeseburger. This is made with a smashed patty, griddled onions, iceberg lettuce, American cheese, Pop's Pickles and Toasty's Sauce. Everything on this burger worked so well together. The burger was juicy. The toppings brought out complimenting flavors. The bun was perfectly soft. I also loved the fries that it came with! Toasty's also has a great drinks list. I'm excited to go back and enjoy perhaps a weekend night on the patio."
