"Our VRBO was super close to this coffee shop and we picked it because they offered food (beyond pastries). Loved our bagels with turkey or ham and cheese. Really good! Service was friendly and fun. They dealt with our out of town longer decision making and questions. The space is compact. There's actually quite a bit of seating, but it's a popular place for gathering. We were lucky to get a table. As busy as it is with people and decor it is also cozy and you aren't on top of people. During warm weather they have a great patio space too. We enjoyed their shopping area and picked up a few buttons for book bags as well as notebooks. This space is all about inclusion and social justice. I appreciated it, including the names on various banners. A reminder that we still have work to do. And to take care of each other."

"Ordered the bacon jalapeño jam bagel and a plain bagel with cinnamon honey butter. The bacon Jalapeño jam bagel was good 8/10, and the plain bagel 7/10. Good bagels , but I found it a bit too chewy. The variety of cream cheese is lacking , I wasn't wowed by it like I was in NYC @liberty bagels 11/10. Maybe I just like variety but for me it definitely wasn't as good as New York bagels by far. I wouldn't be able to tell this bagel from a bagel from krogers . They tasted the same ."

"I tried every bagel here and there was nothing short of 5 stars delicious, hearty, filling and fulfilling sandwiches! These are easily the BEST bagels and BEST breakfast sandwiches in Lousivlle! Each sandwich is more seductive than the other and the taste screams quality! You get what you pay for! Located inside the Logan street market so they're closed Mondays! It is family friendly and spacious atmosphere and good customer service, every bagel comes with complementary smile. Their hours should allow you to find easy street parking too! "We learned that Midway Bakery made the desserts for Wallace Station so we decided to go straight to the source for dessert. Nestled right outside the darling town of Midway Kentucky Midway Bakery appears to located in an old school. The building houses both apartments and the bakery. Walking inside the bakery doors your senses are awaken by the wonderful smell of fresh baked goods. We had the cinnamon roll ( make sure to have them warm it up) oh my dripping in buttery goodness. Our second pick was the Wolford cookie, it looked like a chocolate type cookie but there was a surprise, not chocolate but a delightful spice. My husband said it reminded him of Christmas. The entire bakery is in sight of the counter and is immaculately clean. It is worth a stop."
