"I love Hilltop Tavern!! I was very excited when they reopened. I ordered take out on a Tuesday and I felt very safe going in the restaurant and eating the food from here. This restaurant takes your safety as a customer and the workers safety very seriously. All the staff was wearing wasks properly and there was hand sanitizer scattered around. You were not allowed to seat yourself, the staff directed you to a table in order to keep everyone socially distanced. The take out location had a specific spot at the bar and floor markers. I ended up getting the new corn fritters and chicken tenders with fried. As I said, I ended up getting take lut, but the french fries were still crispy when I got home! The food was served in a paper take out box with a paper liner. The food was amazing and exactly as I remembered. I will definitely be revisiting Hilltop again. I'm so happy they reopened and are keeping everyone safe."
"My kids and I attended a birthday party at Foam Warriorz. This review will include the overall venue experience and the birthday party experience. The company is not new. They moved from Breckenridge Lane to Bardstown Rd. From what I was told, the new location is bigger than what it was before. And it is a pretty nice size space. Once you walk in they have a screen for you to sign a waiver for individuals who are participating. Towards your right there are arcade games which only take money coins not arcade coins. They have a change machine for you to get change. There is a throwing ax area, sumo arena, bounce house arena and a gaming arena in addition to the foam shooting arenas. There are two party areas that are separated by a wall and a net for privacy. From a party perspective the lowest basic package is $300. With this package you receive 45 minutes in the party room which you use first and than one hour in the public foam arena. You do not get the access to the private foam arena. Which I think they should include a 30 minute private arena to the basic package so that the birthday child can play exclusively with their friends but that is more money. You get access to the other arenas but not the arcade game because it only takes money. They have guns to rent and for the birthday They do provide nerf guns for you to shot but it's only the basic one shot gun. For the birthday child they get an upgrade to a bigger gun to shoot more darts. You can upgrade your gun for an additional cost or bring in your own nerf gun which I would recommend. The cost is $15 per child for one hour of play and $20 for 90 minutes of play. Not too bad! Overall, my kiddos enjoyed it and would possibly go back."
"A placethat is good for dogs, babies, toddlers adults of all ages colors and creeds.Great service.Fun menu."
"Came in and talked about the Savannah Bananas. New carpets, great indoor course. Love the design. Worth a visit."
"They have the BEST fries!!! Perfectly made, some are crunchier than others, which I love, and the others have a soft middle but crispy outer layer. We always have a great time when we're here with our family and friends! Lots of space, always clean, large bathrooms, and my son even had one of his birthday parties here. The customer service at the front desk is friendly and quick. The one thing I would like changes to are the seats for the bowling area. It's hard to play on one lane with other people playing on the other lane and there is only one curved seat for everyone. I do appreciate it when it's not busy and they place everyone appropriately so we get our own space for playing without having to share seats. Other than that, love this place!"
"Bought unlimited passes. That was a waste of money. Half of the arcade games were out of order. Workers everywhere but not one to actually help you with anything. Food and drink complete garbage. Definitely could have blown a few hundred bucks somewhere else. The only reason I thought about going back was for the toddler area since there aren't a lot of indoor activities for littles, until I saw they don't open until 1pm. That's his nap time then school let's out so...There is only one changing table in the ONE bathroom they have and it is out in the open so no privacy for your childs privates. If you're handicap, don't bother looking for a handicap parking spot. They're full of vehicles with no handicap tags or plates so you're sol. This place is run by kids who obviously give no $h!t$. One and done."
"I was really happy with my experience at the Cade! It definitely feels a bit like the vid, but is vastly improved because of all of the games and the MUCH better staff (very friendly doorwoman!). Probably the biggest issue with the spot is the size. The atmosphere is very fitting for a barcade, with retro game references (plinky, Blinky!) decorating the space. There are tons of game and even though it was really busy, my group had no problem snagging a table set up with an Atari. We also could easily hop in and out of the old school standing arcade games. The cocktail list was really fun, and with the prices at only $5 I felt like I could try them all. I tried several throughout the night, my favorite being a jedi-themed gin concoction.Jeremy has done a great job with this barcade and my group had a great time drinking nerdy cocktails and trying to figure out Atari basketball."
"It seems that the laser tag places in Louisville are all closed except for Main Event, which is very expensive. I was glad to find this place just a short 45 minutes away, and it was great. My son and I played four games of laser tag and a bunch of other stuff. We went on a day when that county's schools were in session, so there weren't hardly any people there. Two staff members hustled quite a bit but took good care of us. I'd certainly come back."
"Always a fun time to play games and eat American style foods.I enjoyed the Mac attack tacos, they were filled with yummy Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The honey chicken tacos were a little too spicy for my taste but other wise tasty. They offer good options for a kids menu, with sides and drink $7 plus four play coins. They can get pretty busy so go early for no wait, but there's games to play while you wait"

Good neighborhood bar. We stayed at an airbnb across the street and y'all know the very best bar is a bar you can walk to. Great beer selection, good prices. The night I was there Buffalo Trace was $4! Music was ON POINT. We did order the food special of the night... some kind of siracha sausage sandwich and it was really underwhelming, but I think this probably just isn't a bar that's known for its food. For what it's worth, the onion rings were good and crispy. Not a big crowd on a Tuesday night in March, but I'd imagine it's hopping on the weekends.

First time visiting this place. We went in the early afternoon on a Sunday, so it was not crowded. Nice atmosphere. Basic sports bar vibe inside. Fun and comfortable outdoor seating. They have cabanas for larger groups of people. The cabana next to us had a television, which I found to be pretty cool.We were sat at our table quickly. Greeter did not ask if we wanted outside or inside seating. Luckily we were sat outside near a misting fan. I was worried there might be a bunch of loud children running around since it's a kid friendly place. I was happy to see only a few children. They have lots of different games to play (bocce, cornhole, table tennis, etc.). Food was good. Limited vegetarian options. Had the black bean burger and sweet potato fries, both were very good. Was asked if I wanted a side of honey dipping sauce, but was not told it would cost more. It was only $1, but would have preferred knowing in advance it was an extra cost. When asked if we wanted a large or small beer, we instinctively said large. Had no idea it would be a massive 32oz beer in a plastic cup. The plastic cup was a challenge to hold with one hand. Next time I will get a small beer.Prices were higher than expected. $75 before tip for two people to have lunch. The bathroom was clean. Had trouble exiting the larger bathroom stall because the other stall's door was blocking my door. Had to use my foot to close the other door before I could exit. There were no hand towels. I recommend grabbing a napkin before going to the bathroom to use for pulling open the door to leave the restroom. I did not see any gender neutral bathrooms.I appreciated having a napkin dispenser at the table. Music was good, upbeat pop hit classics. There was a parking lot across the street. It was pretty full so not sure how challenging parking would be on a busy weekend night. We would go back again.

This place has a lot of things to keep a child busy: Inflatables, Putt-Putt golf, Rock climbing, Roller skating, Arcade and ticket prize machines, Food, Party rooms and a Toddler area. It's good for a few hours but it can get old for adult chaperones (parents) quickly. Why not 4 stars? Here we go. The arcade features mostly older machines and they almost always aren't giving tickets out like they should (translated: kids are driving you out of your mind about their tickets while you continue to pester the employees that the machines aren't giving them out). With the few ticket spitters they have, you should just save some money and order from Fingerhut and save your money. The typical crappy kid items are outrageous and some will be impossible without a cubic crap ton of repeat visits. You're exceptionally lucky when a trade wind from Alaska brings you a cell signal strong enough to make a call or text someone during your adult boredom. You need to bring a book or tap into their sometimes sluggish wifi.

"Fun for the entire family with glowing florescent decor. Watch your step, stay on the path and no running, you will be fine. Not disability friendly. So much fun for the kids and all indoor for 18 holes, weather permitting allows the course outside to be used. There is a party room, arcade and some other things potentially in the room, nice you can steer clear of all that with the small kids.Pick a putter, pick a ball, might I suggest orange or bright pink for best glow ability.Fun!!! Friendly assistant and great price. Kids 6 and under were free."
"I don't even like video games and I love the Burl Arcade.I read about this place on Yelp a couple months ago, thought my husband would love it, bookmarked it, and finally surprised him with a brief trip to the Burl one weekend after a month ago.Easy to miss, the arcade is tucked away in an industrial area down near an overpass. Small parking lot between two buildings: one is the Burl (for music, etc.) and the other is the arcade. Inside, there is a bar (appeared fully stocked) near one end of the building. The other end of the building has a couple skeeball games, and a large wall of televisions playing old movies, along with a few televisions hooked up to old-school video games available for play. In between the two ends of the buildings are about 3 rows of old school arcade games. I've always enjoyed pinball, so I was delighted to see some pinball machines.Husband was in love with the place and promptly began to play. I thought it was neat. Our son was overwhelmed but really enjoyed the skeeball game (even though he didn't quite grasp it). Skeeball is $.25 per game, other games in the building are also priced low. You can easily come here for a drink, some games, and conversation any time of day. Definitely a great, nostalgic place to go."
"This was my first and second visit to this bowling establishment. They have 40 lanes, a Pro Shop, an arcade area, two pool tables, a lounge for adult beverage partaking and a fairly large snack bar. Where you bowl is different from the traditional horseshoe arrangement of seating with the scoring screen behind the ball return rack. This place has mini tables with four swing out seats and the scoring menu attached to the table. Every other lane is offset from their neighbor lanes. I found it confusing. I don't understand what all the tables are for in the bowling area unless they allow food and drinks down by the bowlers. If so, it would be the first time I've seen that. On the second visit I saw that indeed food and beverage was being utilized by the bowlers on these tables. It took me a couple of games to get used to the set up. The ball return is much closer to the foul line than what I'm used to therefore throwing off my stance but once I made the adjustment, I did much better. I bowled on a Monday and Thursday at my home lanes, then here on Friday. Bowling two days in a row really put soreness into my shoulder. After resting my shoulder and rotator cuff over the weekend, we returned today, Monday, for more games. I bowled a more consistent higher three game average today. The electronic scoring system is overdue for an upgrade in my opinion. I would like to see multiple options for scoring formats with at least one option that tells you your ball speed. We ordered a brownie bowl from the snack bar. It was okay and satisfied our sugar craving for some kind of dessert after eating lunch."
"We attended a holiday party at this location. The atmosphere was impressive! There were sooo many games. Everyone should find something entertaining! Our service and food was average but the bourbon slush was amazing! Skeeball made it all perfect too!"
"Losers 812 knows how to have a good time. My friends and I went for a Disney karaoke night and had a blast. The bar reminds me of a typical biker bar but that type of vibe is something I've grown to enjoy. They have an upstairs patio and a garage side. They also have pool tables for people to enjoy. The employees were great. They would cut up with everyone and we never had to wait long for our drinks. Everything I had was great. They had themed Disney drinks for the night. I had the Ursula's curse which had vodka, blue curaçao and sprite. I couldn't taste the alcohol which was a win for me. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese fries. They were heavenly and the size was big enough to share. The only downside I have with losers is it desperately needs a good dusting. The upstairs patio had cobwebs all over it and you could see some on the garage side. Overall it was a fun time and I hope they bring back Disney karaoke"
"My buddy and I went in here and had a drink and played some games and enjoyed the show. The ambience was pretty cool because it was old-school pinball classic rock vibe field to it. Service was cool bartender was nice didn't get any food but the beer was solid."
""Hipster hotdog bar" with cool vibes, increasing beer & wine quality and shabby chic charm. We had a vegan Fang Banger while attending a comedy show. I was not impressed with the bun quality. Mine arrived soggy. (My pet peeve) Other ingredients were yummy together. Get better buns boys! I recommend talking to Scholars Bakehouse and getting something local. The service was spotty the night we were there because it was packed, however I went up to the bar and ordered no problem and they delivered everything. Staff reminded me of retiring 1980's punk rockers and I was here for it. We went the first month they were open and quality has improved tremendously over all. Fun retro date night!"
"This was so much fun! We went over our lunch hour as a going away party for a co-worker and had a blast. It's small, but Franklin desperately needed a place like this and I'm so glad it's doing well. You can order pizza from Greek's as well as a few bar style snacks and soft drinks. I highly recommend making reservations if you go during the evening because there were quite a few people in there for the middle of the day."
"Great place for a guys night out. Also, for a date night with your boo. $40 per hour is a little high, but play ready golf, set the max out distance based on experience. For faster pace put on 20 foot gimmes. Trust me on this until you get to putting to the screen. Give this place a chance a lot of fun pretty accurate and super staff!! While everyone is floating away. Enjoy a round in doors."
"This is my favorite spot to bowl in Louisville. It's very old school, greasy and grimy but that's what I love about it. Pure nostalgia. Everyone that works here are super friendly and there is never a long wait to get a lane. I also like Ten Pin because it's not as expensive as other bowling alleys. It costs about 6 dollars a game which makes it a cheap date night."
"My family and I met a buddy of mine and his family and we went to the Clarksville strike and spare. We had a really good time the lanes were fun the bowling balls were cleaning nice the atmosphere was great they had a lot of fun games we had an amazing time here and we will be back"
"This is a large, clean, well organized money pit for kids. Set a budget and you can get out "alive". I took my grandkids for a day of miniature golf. At $10 a player, it. Wasn't overly expensive. The course was challenging without being demoralizing. Of course, after golf, it was "can we play this? How about this ". If you don't stick to your plan, you can drop $100 without trying. Fortunately, my grandkids respected the rules. So, they were rewarded with Icees at the snack bar."
"Malibu Jack's is an indoor playground, Chuck E Cheese, and mini sports complex for the kids all in one building. This was the perfect spot to run my toddler during my visit to Lexington. Here's how it works. Everything in the building has an assigned cost. You just load money onto a card at the front and swipe that for every attraction. There's a list of attraction costs at the front to help you decide how much to load. We did the buy $50, get a $10 bonus option. $60 was more than enough for hours of fun for a three year old. The arcade games show your balance with each swipe to help keep track. Check their website ahead of time because certain attractions are half off on specific days of the week. We visited on a Monday and that happened to be half off of mini golf. The five of us were able to play for $20! I can't believe how much is offered in one building! They had a large indoor playground, putt putt, go karts, arcade games, laser tag, bowling, a mini roller coaster, 4D rides, bumper cars, and virtual reality. They also have a large cafe with plenty of seating. All of the attractions and building were clean, well maintained, and operational. There were only a couple of arcade games that were out of order, but most were working. If you're a parent looking to entertain/run your kids then this is a fun place to do it. On a Monday it wasn't crazy busy so it was a pleasant outing for the family."
"Kart Kountry is a long time staple of Shepherdsville. It's is a go kart/min golf/arcade/bumper boat establishment that has been providing kids and adults a lot of fun every since I was a kiddo. In the last 15 years or so the place has gone under much renovation. The mini golf course is completely been changed and upgrades. The arcade has grown massively and they now have bunker boats in the place where I wanna say the old school batting cages use to be. Fun place to take the kids and spend and evening. It's a really popular spot for birthday parties as I've taken my kids to a few over the years. The pricing can be a little steep but it is a lot of fun. The go karts have good speed and while the track is somewhat basic it is a long one and you do get some good time driving. Overall it's a cool spot and I see know reason it won't remain a staple in the Shepherdsville area. There really no other place comparable to it in that area."
