I have taken some snapshots of a couple of the booths so that you can get a sense of the style of the store and some of the items available. I like just to walk around and see what they have without having anything in particular that I am looking to purchase. They have all sorts of vintage wares such as jewelry, some furniture, pictures, and several vintage clothing booths. All in all makes a nice shopping stop!"

Joseph G. "Peddlers mall is basically a designed shop for people to sell old and sometimes new merchandise all setup inside of a storefront. Think of a inside yard sale or a flea market. Each vendor has an area with a marked tag and of someone buys something from that section then the seller gets the profit agreed upon between them and and the mall. These locations Are plentiful in Louisville. This particular one is located in the hillview portion of Louisville just off Preston highway right before you get to the bullitt county line. Rather large location compared to other ones. I've been here several times over the years to do some bargain shopping or browsing. A lot of the items in these stores will give you nostalgic feels. My most recent visit was to help my father get a Mother's Day gift for my mom as he bought a rocking chair for there front porch and needed my vehicle to transport it. Overall all peddlers mall are cool to search through. Neat idea that evidently is successful as there are a whole bunch of locations in the Louisville area. I have a few family friends and relatives who have had booths at different locations over the years and they seemed to do well with it. So seems like a win win situation."

Olivia B. "It may be dating myself, but I remember picking up a threadbare peacoat with a shredded lining for a ten spot back in...well, back when they were out near the flea market. Loved that coat, til I lost it in a bar on St. Paddy's in Boston. I weep for that coat...In those days, they were all about turnover and donations and great mens' clothes in women's wearable sizes. They did a good job of sorting the crap out, stocking stuff people actually wanted to purchase and tossing (or recycyling - dunno) the rest. These days, they're located in a huge house across from First Federal Savings Bank, next to a house that is also associated with pet protection in some way, though I'm not entirely sure how. And all the fra-fra makes its way in the doors, it seems. They're fairly cranky about shoppers now, though, and by that, I mean...it doesn't really seem like they want anyone to come in the shop. They certainly don't want you to do so with any sort of extraneous items (per signage), whether your wallet, cell, or whatever, but even when I've left my purse / bag in the car, I'm not sure I've ever gotten anything other than a suspicious scowl when I walk in, despite keeping my hands clear at all times and turning anything I want to buy in to the cashier nearly as soon as I touch it. And they're pretty...um...verbal about their crankiness.Their pricing these days is fairly cray-cray, especially considering that their items are donated. The items that they like (whether they're actually valuable or not) are up-priced, which inevitably means that most "statement" decor items or things that would otherwise be au courant, stick around in the shop forever. Don't even bother with anything in a case - it's been there for years, and for a reason. ETA: Per a nasty message I received, ten spot is more - well - editorial usage than the eighteen dollars plus tax I spent on my wrecked, now lost, well-loved pea coat. I know exactly how much I spent on it, as I went without lunch money for a month to pay for it and it kept me as warmish as I could expect from a threadbare coat with no lining for 18$ plus tax for six years. So, maybe, reign in the judgement and belligerence, K? As, after all, it was a shredded piece of clothing no one but a broke-ass punk kid could get away with wearing in public, from jump. And it was 1991.I truly wish the owner's comments were still available here (from her removed review of her own shop) as there is no better indication of how little she esteems her customers than her own sentiment (though there are also several "not recommended" reviews that seem completely legit, that leave a distinct impression on this topic - including belligerent response to a child shoplifter - really. SMH.). I've donated entire rooms-full of tchotchkeys, antiques and homegoods to this place...and have been treated like a convicted, tagged and tattooed shoplifter every time I walk through the door. I dealt with it because I wanted to help animals locally and felt this was my only option, despite it all. It's good news that they make over 2 mil on gaming as reported to the state - because they should close their shop, which appears of late to be an intentional profit sink at around 1% of that (gross), minus operational costs (they use this shop to justify staffing and other overhead costs). I no longer feel obligated to deal with their nonsense belligerence to contribute to the community after reviewing their public record filings. Done, done, done (both as a donor and a buyer - and for the record, I want organizations I care about to have money to use in the service of clients, not homegoods to dust in the hope of a purchase someday, by an idiot too stupid to know the value of things)."

Anthony S. "This was the most nightmarish interaction with a so called "professional artist" one could image. I will first list the pros: None. Now I will list the cons: I took my work there to be framed. I chose my own mat color and frame style. She said it would be ready in a three days and that she would call me. She never called me. When I finally called her she said I must have given her the wrong number. I asked her to check her computer to see what number she had on file for me and she replied her computer was down. She then told me that the frame company "sent the wrong frame" and she had sent it back to get the correct one so it would be four more days. She took my "correct number" & said she would call me when it was ready. No one called. Finally after a week I called her and I was a bit annoyed at this point when she insisted she had left several messages on my voice mail and I never returned her calls. It simply was not true. I didn't argue with her because I understood it was pointless. I went to pick up my art. They were supposed to be open until 6:00 but apparently she left early. I was so frustrated with her complete lack of professionalism! The next day I went during my lunch break and there it was! Finished at last, (or so I thought.) The mat was not even close to the color I had chosen, the frame had a deep and very visible scratch on it and even worse, my work had permanent damage namely a HUGE, prominent, ugly, permanent crease in it! You wouldn't think it could get worse, would you? Well, it did. She claimed I brought it to her in that condition! (I wonder if she noticed my face turning red and the vein in my forhead that pops out when I get angry?) Everything is MY fault? She said I was mistaken about the mat color and the color used was exactly what I ordered. Not true. She sarcastically stated she would be happy to take it apart and redo it. WHO WOULD WANT PERMANENTLY DAMAGED ART FRAMED? I felt like saying "Yes, kick me in the crotch again."In summary: I wouldn't recommend Koch and Company on Dixie HWY to my worst enemy. The owner is dishonest and takes no responsibility or accountability for her mistakes. She has no customer sevice skills or etiquette. The only kind of artist she could possibly be is a con artist. She is arrogant, rude, deceptive, dismissive, selfish and condescending. The bottom line is, I lost a lot of time, money and a very sentimental piece of family history in which cannot ever be replaced, not to mention the unnecessary stress of simply dealing with the owner. I do not recommend Koch and Company to anyone. My wife cried when she saw what happened. She was crushed."

Glenn V. "Because I'm about at the boarder between Classic and Vintage in all I say and do and wear - I'm always looking for that special little shop that makes me want to have it all. All of those things I stay awake thinking about from yesterday's long gone now, but all alive and we'll within me, and in my basement and attic."Vintage" search populated just south of nothing, well - there was an address and a name but it looked weird, I believe there was a dash and a random letter sitting curiously upon the end, so I went to check it out.Yes, you guessed it - it was a booth in the mall. Bummer? Heck no! What an opportunity to walk and explore the mall world with a few exceptions to my early mall memory. For one thing, it was on one floor - Queens Center Mall, NYC 1986, the gold standard to me. There were no people either - not in the booths, not walking around - nobody as in nobody, minus the two girls at the very front of the store. Actually I became aware that malls can be all on one floor once I was out of the New York area.Visions of Day of The Dead began, the second George Romero zombie movie after Dawn of The Dead, back then zombies were smarter than they are now, just like some people I know now. Ya ever feel dumber walking away from a conversation with someone you knew years ago and hadn't seen in a while and - well, it's just hard for me to ingest that. Anyway, those zombies entered a mall, what a great horror movie - actually, all the movies in that series were excellent - any horror fans out there? So I bought a few shirts, nice quality cotton tees with a picture of an angry bear on one and a skull on the other and slashed the sleeves off the moment I got to the urban assault vehicle. I've been steadily working out, I'm driving a bit slow with NYC plates in foreign territory, I'm gonna show the cannons - which they're not, but have size when I squeeze the steering wheel in just such a way. There was a pair of boots that I really liked but I had questions about them and nobody was there and to ask about returning them or - ya kno- it just wasn't the right time, but I loved the place. Anything non- perishable was there in 8x10 booth sections, lots of vintage lamps and cool leathers.."

Me and my second oldest daughter stopped in here the other day to browse for possible Christmas presents. While we didn't purchase anything it was a fun place to browse. Slightly cluttered but that's ok as it means they just have a large inventory of options. Pricing wise I'd say they are on the high end a tad for our liking. I'm able to find likewise items in louisville or online a tad bit cheaper. However they are located in an extremely popular small town/touristy shopping area so I understand the slight increases. The workers here were extremely nice and helpful and give you the small country town welcome you would expect. Overall a very cool store. Just because we didn't find anything on this trip does not mean we will not come back and purchase in the future."

I went shopping a few weeks back with my 5 girls and some friends when we stopped into this shop. The items here are very unique, strange, and can be very pricey. Everything from petrified bugs, old dilapidated baby dolls, animal skulls and just some edgy horror themed ear rings can be purchased here. Smaller shop that for my liking is more window shopping. I'm not interested in spending a couple hundred for a cow skull. But my daughter did find some earrings for a band she liked so we was able to do more than just window shop this time. Saying that, Consignments Plus certainly has a look so if your home leans toward the farmhouse style you will enjoy it. There's only a handful of vendors that have a different vibe - really a bit of a negative for them because when looks are so similar no one stands out. The shop has several pieces of furniture available. The items in their original form were interesting, but I noticed several pieces were painted to fit the farmhouse look. In be back of the store was an area called the Painters Corner which contained several stools and other seating. We spotted several things we loved checking out, some we wish we could convince ourselves to splurge on. Other things were interesting and some nostalgic. Most vendors are related to home decor but some include women's or kids clothing. I left with an older coffee grinder - the style I'd been looking to find for a long time. I'm excited to display it at my home. Value will vary from booth to booth, item to item. Some vendors promoted a discount.Very friendly service and a place for customer holds while you shop. What they basically are is a daily year around flea market and yard sale where people rent out booths on a month To month or yearly contracted deal with peddlers mall and setup merchandise with there own pricing and the workers at peddlers mall ring up the transactions and take there contracted cut. Thai particular location is off outer loop in the high view area of the city. Like pay peddlers mall you will find a wide variety of things from clothing, home goods, furniture, toys, decorations, jewelry's and just really any things you can expect to find at a yard sale. This location is a rather large one. If you are like my wife and oldest daughter they can come in here and browse for hours. As each booth is packed so tight with merch and there are so many booths. One main reason we come to This location a lot is there is a place in the back called Cindy's alterations that does dress and clothing alterations really cheap and quick and does a great job. We've taken several of our daughters dresses or outfits here to get altered. Any time someone asks about alterations I always suggest peddlers mall on outer loop and get someStrange looks. But they do a good job. Overall pretty standard peddlers mall for anyone who has ever been to one before.
