Buddy's Pizza

This is a nice little spot for locals and travelers alike if you want home made pizza stop on by. We started with the wings the sauces we choose was bbq and bourbon glaze. My wife went with the pizza sandwich that comes with chips. While I picked the cauliflower meat lover pizza. This is not a Military friendly location.

Amazing place for fresh oven baled pizza! So delicious and flavorful! Hawaiian is our favorite. Staff and the owner are so nice and welcoming! When you are in Frankfort, make sure to stop by!

The food, pizza yes. Has the attempt at old world so don't expect too much from ambiance, however, the pizza was done well. Good crust, right temp, not too skimpy on toppings made for a good bite. The owner was running so they need a little help but it's worth the try!!

Buddy's is a great spot for pizza, sandwiches, wings and beer. They have good selection of Beer and not just typical domestics. The pizza is good, crust on bottom is thin crispy. The wings were good, plenty of sauce. Also the prices are good, not over priced.

Living in Frankfort, I've ate here more than a dozen times. It's mediocre lunch food at best. A place to get a cheap lunch special: big slice of pizza, salad, and drink. None of it is stand out or even what I'd consider delicious. It's just a cheap, easy, convenient way to fill your belly at lunch time on a budget. Food is decent. Maybe even really good if you're hungry enough. But Don't expect a mind blowing slice of pizza because it's honestly not much better than a frozen box pizza. It is what it is...Service is always fast. We are able to get in and out in about 30-45 minutes on lunch breaks. Ambiance is what you'd expect of an old building in downtown Frankfort. Nothing amazing, but it's clean.

Best wings in Frankfort! Great pizza and other offerings such as salads, sandwiches and pasta dishes made with quality ingredients. Apparently the homemade pimento cheese is a huge seller. WARNING: it is very spicy. Service is not the fastest because everything is made to order. It's worth the wait! Ambiance is non existent. Although the restaurant has plenty of space, it BADLY needs an update. Chairs are in really bad shape, the whole place is just cluttered, dingy and screams "dive". This place could be one of the best restaurants in Frankfort if they took some time and effort to improve the look and feel. Sometimes has live music.

I've been to Buddy's on multiple occasions, and the pizza is as good every time. Have yet to have a bad experience there. Have had different servers every time, and they are all equally pleasant and gracious.

Looking for an easy weeknight dinner while in downtown Frankfort and so glad to have found this treasure. Nice variety and selection of beers on tap and the independently owned & operated vibe that makes the place feel welcoming and inviting. Staff was so sweet and delivered everything to our table, periodically checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. What they delivered was a perfectly cooked thin crust pizza that made for a great meal. Sauce is rich and flavorful, crust has a great taste and texture. Their 16-inch pizza is plenty to feed 3-4 people. Would definitely come again.

We were out on the bourbon trail and stopped after a recommendation by someone local. It was very disappointing, after waiting more than an hour for the two pizzas we ordered (no one mentioned that it would be over an hour wait), the pizza was mediocre.

Great food. Best lunch special around. A slice, 3 wings and a drink for $9. Friendly service.
