Bubba's Place

Ordered the cheese burger, onion rings and a short Bloody Mary. The burger was delicious but too large for me to finish . Onion rings were crunchy and delicious. The short Bloody Mary was a generous pour and more than I could finish. It's a nice little locals watering hole! Price is reasonable and parking is plentiful.

Came for the food based on reviews and we did not enjoy it.Staff seemed friendly.Had that small town bar charm which I appreciate.Was full of cigarette smoke which left us smelling horrible.Of the kitchen staff that we did see it didn't appear health was a major concern of theirs and gave me the feel that they probably smoke over the food while preparing it.To be clear though, I did not see them smoking over the food or notice any unclean kitchen methods.I'm going off of the way the particular kitchen staff member we saw was dressed as they appeared to almost be a parody of a bad 80's camp movie cook.The best experience in this place was the friendliness of the staff.We however will not return as the food was subpar for even bar food and the smoking.

Just had the worst experience ever in a bar that serves steaks..A 400 pound waitress pounded the floor as she approached and then took 30 minutes to bring me my steak and half cooked(l can only guess was microwaved) baked potato and when l could not eat any more of this warmed up steak and half cooked potatoe told me they Don't have "To Go" containers...l had hoped it would be more appealing after microwaving it some more...

Cannot beat a good old neighborhood corner bar, especially when the food is so good. Tasty tenderloins with a generous helping of fries. Staff was friendly.

They serve large drinks here, and they have friendly awesome bartenders. The bar area is a bit small, but there is a great back room that is quite large with games to play. I always have a good time when I visit here!

Great neighborhood bar. Dive bar. We love to scope out good food and good drinks. This is it! They do smoke in the bar area. Downside for those who are none smokers. Likely, positive for you smokers. We're from Michigan and they changed the law years ago to none smoking in bars there. Great people great food.

Bubbas is AWESOME! I was in town on business and a local waiter at another restaurant in town recommended it. It happened to be my birthday and when the lady bartenders figured that out, they rolled out the red carpet! It was amazing. This place is a no-shit, stand-on-the-bar and sing your brains out kind of place. Not to mention I nearly had to take a local out back and remind him about manners. Scary on the outside but cool on the inside.
