BRU Burger Bar

Still traveling - Friday's are my day off and a chance to run errands and check out new places to eat. This is a former Greyhound bus station, now a restaurant and pub. Great decor and ambience. A lot of old pictures from the bus station in its day and circa stuff. I ordered the southern burger with fries and slaw. Excellent service by Lauren - she was attentive and had many suggestions for this picky diner.

What an amazing experience! Stopped in for an early dinner this past Saturday and was struck by the wonderful decor. Very top notch interior and they left the exterior as the old Greyhound terminal. Started of with a medley of yummy onion straws and dips. I could have made this my meal but I ordered the smash burger patty melt and was not disappointed. Flavorful and mouthwatering! Our servers was an absolute gem. Great banter, humor and very attentive. Topped off my meal with a milk shake and was stuffed to the gills. Definitely recommend this as a destination spot for a meal

It's cool to think this was a greyhound station for many years. If these walls could talk. Sadly, the inside doesn't inspire any of that. It just looks like any other old restaurant but the burgers are tasty and the staff is nice. The neighborhood is going through quite a bit of construction so parking is a challenge. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

Wow. This was a great experience. The double bacon burger was so delicious! So flavourful... one of the best burgers I've had. This location is super neat as well. It's located in a historical gray ground station. They've done a great job transitioning the space. We also had great service, which always makes the experience even better.

I have been to Bru Burger three times in a short amount of time. The service is always top notch and truly genuine. I have put in 27 years in the restaurant industry and trust me when I am impressed with service in today's restaurant culture please take note. My food is always something special from appetizers to dessert. I had the southerner burger on my last visit and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable with excellent service. Well worth every dollar.

A solid burger joint in a super cool old bus station. The service was very good, and most of the food was excellent. The only "ding" was that the fries and the appetizers clearly sat under the heat lamps for a while, as they were slightly warmer than room temp, but not by much. They still tasted fine, but they really needed to bring them out to the table much sooner.

" The best burger I've had in a long time!", proclaimed my Hubby. I have to agree. After a weekday late lunch stop, we did not realize the burger of our dreams was in store!!! We had the double bacon burger, the stilton bleu cheese burger, fries and onion rings. Juicy, cooked to perfection burgers.... You will want to lick your plate!!! However, service was rather slow, and somewhat inattentive. Sat with empty drinks for some time, while our server was MIA. Waited for our ticket for a loooonng time. Server still MIA. I noted other tables getting prompt service, so I would return for the food 100%!!!!

Not using cheap frozen patties, and the also cooking them to the customer's preference.

Refused to serve us because we had 10People and after 20 minutes of standing at the door we finally sat down and it took us an hour and a half to finally get food just for there to be a homeless man sleeping on the outside couches next to our seats. Any restaurant that lets homeless people sleep out side and refuses to sit us deserves to have a 1 star.

Food was super greasy and our waitress was very inattentive. But the building it self was very nice on the inside but the beer was expensive for no reason. Plus half way through each burger me and my wife had we were both feeling ill thankfully the manager comped our burgers
