This a nice little hardware store locally owned in Prospect it's one of the oldest places around with my dad moved out here in 1991 this was still there this is one of the first little establishments this the Dairy Queen that you spill Winn-Dixie right next door to it that's gone now. I like this place it's local feels good people that own it a really nice I have no problems with it whatsoever I'd much rather go somewhere like this in the Giant Store at Lowe's I like to support local businesses so why don't you stop stop by support your little businesses especially the ones in Prospect and the little communities like this by a hammer call yourself Tim the toolman Taylor do whatever you need to do

Very nice local Ace brand hardware store in Prospect. The store is super clean, organized, well stocked and staffed. The staff was all older, knowledgable, and helpful gentlemen. They carry Benjamin Moore paints and are a full service hardware store. The also had a nice selection of Yeti brand coolers and cups and Big Green Egg grills. Great location, staff and service.

Brownsboro Hardware is a great store. As another reviewer mentioned, it is a local establishment and the customer service by the associates is top notch. Stopped in here several times for different items - whether it was to get a propane tank refilled, fertilizer or any lawn needs or just even to mail a letter. They have a post office on the top floor which offers a nice convenience for customers. Overall, recommend this location to anyone who wants great service or needs anything for their house projects that they are working on. Top notch customer service.

The selection is surprising given the space. The service is what really stands apart from a bigger hardware store. I highly recommend.

This is the only place to buy Weber grills and products in Louisville. They are very well informed and can guide you through the decisions pros and cons. I bought a Weber less than a year ago and had a problem with the grill lid. They replaced and repaired with no problems or costs. The big box stores won't do this.

Went to Brownsboro Hardware in Prospect looking for a 3 volt CR123A Lithium Battery to replace one in my home motion detector. Bought one for $14.00. At checkout, I told the associate that the price seemed excessive, but was assured that this was the same price found on Amazon. Reluctantly, I bought it only to find out the identical battery on Amazon Prime was offered for a 2-pack for $5.77. Nearly a 300% increase. I shop alot at this hardware store but really felt "taken" on this purchase. The more I shop there, the more I know what not to buy because of its overpricing. That's not good for customers to feel like they are being ripped off.

Prospect Brownsboro Hardware....Big shout out to Alex. He was a life saver today. I had a new refrigerator installed yesterday and unbeknownst to me the water line connected to the old copper line had been leaking for 22 hours. It wasn't leaking in the kitchen, it had been leaking through the floor behind the fridge through the ceiling into the finished basement. When I went down to start the laundry today the water was running through the ceiling and lights and the carpet was soaked. I immediately shut the water off at the main, pulled the fridge out and found the source. Being a Sunday and knowing nothing about plumbing I took pictures of the problem and went straight to the Prospect store. Alex not only got me the fittings I needed he took me to a work station and literally gave me a plumbing 101 course! Seriously, he even cut off a small piece of plastic water line and walked me through exactly what I needed to do when I got home. I'm so grateful he went out of his way to help me. And, very happy to report it worked! I fixed it thanks to Alex!!
