Brown County Inn

Great food,the corn crib has great music and awesome drinks. Knowledgeable bar staff. The restaurant never failed my wants for great food. Clean and safe place for a family to stay and relax. They clean the pool every night and do quality checks 6 times a day on the swimming pool. It is definitely the cleanest pool in Indiana. Best place to stay in Nashville.The people who own this amazing hotel are wonderful people who saved my life in a few different ways. Gave me a job when I was in need. Let me sleep in a un used room when I had no where else to go. Helped me understand that I was making a my life harder than it had to be when I was unable to see it myself. I am thankful for that. It definitely saved my life.

We've eaten at the Inn restaurant several times over the past 6 months or so. We're very impressed and have enjoyed everything we've ordered there. The buffets are tremendously delicious as well and offer a wonderful variety. We had first dined here in 2019 and we not impressed. It took us nearly five years to give it another try... and another, and another. Whatever they've done in the meantime (new chef? new menu?) has made a big difference in our opinion. Now it's one of our go-to Nashville restaurants. Yum!

Breakfast buffet reviewWe came here after checking options around town. Although more expensive, this place seemed like the best since they offered french toast and coffee with their buffet price. Sadly, their food just didn't taste good. Biscuits were hard. Sausage was awful. The potato option was unusual - potato chips basically. Very disappointed.

I've stayed in the hotel as well as eaten the food from the restaurant. The rooms are well kept and clean, and just about how you expect an Inn to look. Nothing fancy but still better looking than you may expect. Make sure not to choose the side of the hotel that overlooks the jail If you're looking for a view.Regarding the food, it's always been iffy to me until they got a new Chef. I've heard there's a new one and can definitely tell by the difference in quality and attention to detail to the meals provided. Certain things like, burgers or fries are not exactly my favorite here, but the chicken sandwich, especially is a smashing hit.

The Brown County Inn is such a lovely place to stay with thoughtful amenities all throughout the property. The staff is friendly and welcoming with fresh brewed coffee right at the front desk in the morning!The menus are well curated for bigger-city tastes. Rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. I can't wait to return with my family - rarely do I see playground equipment at hotels to help wear my little one out! There is something for everyone at this resort-style property.

This review is for the restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised by their menu, service and the overall experience here. We've visited the farmers market a couple times over the years but never stepped inside the hotel. We ended up having dinner here twice during a recent long weekend in Brown County. We appreciated that their back patio was dog friendly and featured large shade umbrellas. Two of my favorite items during the visits were the cabbage soup (so good that I could have made a whole meal out if it!) and the blackberry Brisket served with potatoes and broccolini. We also appreciated that they serve complimentary focaccia bread and olive oil to kick the meal off. You'll conveniently find a small trail on the back side of the hotel as well if you want to stretch your legs before or after feasting. The indoor ambience is a little less fun/interesting than the pack patio. Overall, a good experience.

I stayed here on a recent trip to the area-was only there about 9 hours and was too late to try the restaurant/bar. Overall, a good stay with clean and comfortable accommodations.One test to me when I stay somewhere is shower water pressure and water temperature and ours had both. I'll definitely look to stay there again the next time I'm in the area.

The servers were nice. The food was average. We had the cheeseburger, FF, chicken sandwich & a side salad. They had open mike night which was fun to listen to..It was dim lit & cozy around the bar area. But probably would not return.

Gunnar is an amazing bartender! Always goes above and beyond. Food is great, service is fast and the ambiance is top notch! Way to be there!!!!
