Wanted to stop in for a tour but they only offer on Saturdays. Hopefully we can catch one during our next visit to Louisville. Looking forward to it.

We wanted a place to go to before another tour. To our pleasant surprised when we walked into this small family owned distillery. We were treated with smiles and hospitality- we didn't do the tour, but they did let us check it out and the more we hung out the more we just connected with the family. We tasted the vodka and whiskey- both so smooth and bought bottles of each. I strongly suggest this for anyone that loves to support the small family owned business and more so if you want to taste some smooth spirits. Thanks y'all. (From NorCal)

Bravo to these three siblings and their two cousins helping make this happen. Opened in July 2021 (during the pandemic), it appears to be the only black-owned bourbon distillery in USA. bonus, they're now also making over-proofed rum! Got a couple of bottles, signed by one of the siblings. They give tours on Saturdays, which is what we did and enjoyed our selves. They answered all of our questions and had a fun tasting afterwards. The bourbon (at time of this writing) is whiskey bourbon (aged 6 months) so not great bourbon (YET) but everyone's gotta start somewhere. Big future for these gentlemen.

Great tour! We learned more from this small operation than we did at the bigger distilleries. Super cool that it's family owned and operated. Bryson (one of the brothers) gave us some great insight into the bourbon making process and answered all of our questions. It was a discussion, not a scripted tour. Great tasting. You get to try their bourbon and they're rum, as well as cocktails made with both. Just friendly people who love what they do. A must if you're visiting Louisville.

This place is absolutely perfect!! Amazing knowledge of the bourbon making process. Product was the absolute best bourbon and rum I have had. This was the only bottle of bourbon I bought in Louisville. I just wish I had more space in my suitcase for a bottle of their rum or a case of both. The energy and love for their clients and the product was felt as well as being the first Black-owned bourbon distillery in the state of Kentucky. DO NOT MISS this stop. To be safe make it your first stop. But be prepared, after Brough Brothers, I was unimpressed with every other bourbon distillery stop. As I said in the beginning, it was the ONLY bottle of outstanding bourbon I bought over my long weekend!!! So grateful and thankful to spend time with the Brough Brothers team!

What a phenomenal distillery. We took a Saturday morning tour and found it to be fun, educational, and full of passion. You can tell these men really enjoy what they're doing, and put their hearts into it. If you're looking for a small, intimate, casual tour that really makes you feel a part of the family, you found the right place. Great people and PHENOMENAL rum, which I enjoyed even more than the bourbon. Small parking lot but plenty of street parking around the space, and a second location opening soon. Can't wait to see how these guys grow!
