We stayed in June, and our site was quiet and very clean. Would highly recommend!!! We stayed Friday to Sunday and it was great the whole time. It's conveniently located to downtown LOU, but far enough out that it felt like we really were on "vacation"!

We stayed in your park 5/21-5/30. We enjoyed our stay, as the residents were very friendly. Mostly, we'd like to compliment how Annie handles the visitors and attends to the property. What an asset she is to your business! The location is great to access the bourbon trail, Red River Gorge, Nolin Lake and of course downtown Louisville.

Inexpensive, but now that we've stayed there we know why.....If you are looking for quietness, forget this place. Between the gun club located across the way shooting their guns off, the flight path of the major airport, the regular scheduled trains, the loud pick up trucks located in the park and the "rooster" that sounds off early you won't get the rest you are looking for. And you better be agile, the electrical boxes are so low that you can barely get the plugs in. The laundromat has two washers two dryers. My brother and his wife were supposed to be parked next to us, but they erred on the reservation so we were 6 campers away from each other. First time?last time!

We spent 4 nights. The campsite host, Annie, was amazing. She welcomed us to the campground and walked us around our campsite to ensure our stay was the best. The campground is very well set up and easy to get around. Fellow campers were very friendly and it definitely felt like home. The location was perfect to go into Louisville. In addition, it was perfect for RVs - Pilot truck stop was very close to fill-up before getting on the interstate for your next destination. Highly recommend.

We called the Brooks Mobile & RV Park home for one year and 8 months. We chose it, sight unseen, as our home when we decided to relocate from New York to Kentucky. The location of this park is perfect! A country like setting, in a small town - yet you can be in downtown Louisville in 20 minutes. There is very heavy air and train traffic, but we quickly became used to the constant noise and it didn't really bother us. There is also an active quarry right next door and a gun range very close by. There are no amenities at this park other than pay laundry facilities. I would not recommend this as a family park. Surely, over the year and a half, we have seen many families come and go; just don't expect a playground or other things to keep your kiddos entertained. We loved our time at this park! We had a great lot, amazing neighbors whom we call friends (who were also there permanently), and we quickly sparked a great relationship with Miss Annie, the park manager. Miss Annie is an incredibly hard working woman with a heart of gold; she does run a tight ship though. When the website says "look for Annie working in the park", they mean it. This woman works her tail off trying to keep the high demands of the owners met. She takes care of all bookings and payments, sees that maintenance is kept up, does landscaping, keeps folks in line, mows lawns, you name it. This woman is the heart of this park and she is incredibly overworked (and I'm sure, underpaid) as they can't keep good help around.Let's move on to the owners of the park, Scott & Dana. These folks live in California and visit the park minimally - which is fine, it's their business they can run it from afar because they have such an amazing woman on site to make sure the daily operations are seen to. The last time they were here visiting they did host a park-wide cookout, which was awesome - everyone had a great time that day! But that's about it... I don't feel that they have a give-a-care about the people who patronize their business whether they be overnighters, long-term full-timers, or Miss Annie. I've had pretty much zero interaction with Scott and Dana, but I do know this: increasing someone's rent $270 over a 3 month period tells me that you don't care; you are money hungry. In March of 2021, our lot rent increased by $70. That was a pretty big jump. Their substantiation was that they hadn't increased lot rent in 10 years. Well, as business owners, that's your fault. But, we loved it there so we took it with a grain of salt. The next month they wanted to start charging folks if they had more than one vehicle on their lot. Two adults live in our RV. Those two adults need to go to work every day in order to pay the $495 a month price tag that you have put on our lot. I can understand if you have more than one vehicle per occupant, sure charge a fee, but when two people live together and they both have to get to work...I can't understand that. Luckily, Miss Annie got them to grandfather in those of us who were already here. $495 a month, on the verge of being overpriced, but I can manage that. In June, Miss Annie approached us about another rent increase. This time our lot was going from $495 to $695! Yes, you read that right, $695! Because we have a larger lot and we are "creekside". I do agree that we have one of the larger, nicer lots here. However, we have made it look like this. We have put a lot of work into this lot. We are also the ones who keep up with lawn maintenance (not just for us - I mow our lot plus our neighbor to the left, and the 2 neighbors to the right). I can count on one hand the number of times that the lawn service has mowed my lot. Once I decided to not mow and see how long it would take for the provided lawn care to mow, that was nearly two weeks out. And, as far as creekside; it's more like a ditch. When it rains, it is a raging river and when it dries up you can see old cinder blocks and bricks all over. It's just unattractive. With this, we are leaving. I want Scott and Dana to be very clear about the fact that we are not leaving because we can not afford the new rate. We are leaving under principle; you do not raise someone's rent 63.8% in 3 months. I truly feel sorry for Miss Annie - all of the relationships that she has built with those of us who have been here for an extended stay were just ripped from her. I do not feel bad for Scott and Dana. They just handed all of their business to another park, on a silver platter. A total of 7 of us are leaving and 5 of us happen to be going to the same park. Please choose to give your money to a more deserving business.

First off I travel all over the United States for work and I use my RV to stay in . I've stayed at many sites . How ever this one is very unique . The lots are nice and well kept . Not run down at all . And Annie she is who runs that RV park and she is awsome . I miss her already . But Scott and his wife also did me right and helped me and they didn't have to . So I appreciate that . Great place to stay would stay again .

This is a very underrated campground. Seems that there are mostly full-time campers but the transient spots are very nice. New gravel and level lots. Most of the campers are newer and well maintained. We chose Brooks because it was close enough to explore Louisville in a very safe location. Theres no frills...no pool no jump pad nothing you dont need. As far as noise goes, what campground isn't adjacent to railroad tracks? And if you haven't found one near tracks, you haven't camped! The noise did not disrupt our stay! The manager/camp host and owner are hands-on and always available. We highly recommend giving them a shot!

I really liked this little park outside of Louisville, KY It's super clean and the Management is spending money to make it more appealing. Annie the Manager is the sweetest lady, and a pleasure to deal with. All the billing for the lot rent and power were timely and correctly billed on time. I give this little park 5 Stars
