Y'all - I stopped by my storage unit pre coffee this morning. As I was coming out all I could think of was coffee for my protein shake & sanity. I saw the sign Coffee & pulled into the drive thru. I ordered a double expresso over ice in a large cup & after some deliberation an apple cinnamon scone for a nibble. The service was wonderful and the guy at the drive through had a great tshirt on slamming stupid people which I got a kick out of. (I am a retired RN & currently have a shop, so if you have worked retail or any service job, you know). The expresso was strong y'all! So frickin good! I will definitely be back anytime I have to hit my storage unit. The scone, I was surprised. Scones are usually fluffy and very dry. The scone was flatter and not so fluffy, but more like a giant apple cinnamon cookie. The bottom was caramelized so it was chewy and kind of carmel-brown sugary deliciousness that I kinda felt guilty eating it for breakfast. I know it may be out of your way, but definitely a go to. To top it off I stopped there the other night to get something out of storage and had Taco City which is next door for the first time. Another review for another time, but also good. So if you go at lunch you can have both....

I was in the area and googled coffee shops near by and this location popped up. The cafe wasn't too busy so I was able to take my time to review the menu and ask questions without feeling rushed. I went the cashier and ordered an iced Karmella which is a caramel latte. The taste was really good. The interior space is pretty big. There is corner where there are books not sure if they are for purchased or to read in the space. Towards the back there is an area where you can see the beans being roasted. There is also a shared workspace for those looking for a quiet space to work. The cashier said there is another location in Hulu so it is def worth checking out again!

Headed home out of Louisville after a bachelorette trip, I knew I had to get some fuel for the drive. I really wanted a taste of local flavor and this spot showed up as open and on my way, so to Ntaba I went! It's a little hidden off the road but they have a drive-through and a nice parking lot. I accidentally went through the drive-through first but I asked if I could pull around and come inside and they were super accommodating and not annoyed with my goofy mishap at all.Inside is surprisingly spacious and has a warm and inviting vibe. There are imported South African goods on display and for sale. The restroom was very clean and tidy. I was greeted by the same friendly employee from the drive-through and then, to my surprise, who I believe to be the owner and his wife. All three were EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant and friendly. We chatted briefly about my weekend and by the time I got my snack and drink to leave, they even remembered to wish me a safe drive. Such lovely people. Ordinarily I'm an almost-exclusively iced coffee kind of girl, but I was a little caught off guard by my encounter and also my flub at the drive-through and so I forgot to specify. By the time I realized my mistake my beverage was basically done being made, so I didn't complain and wound up with a hot mocha. Much to my pleasure, though, I quite liked it! This coffee was super rich, creamy, subtly chocolatey, and just sweet enough. It was delicious. The one thing I wasn't super crazy about was the breakfast roll I got as a snack. It had egg, bacon, and I wanna say feta in a crispy pastry. The pastry was nice -- insanely flaky and buttery -- but it was mostly eggy on the inside and the eggs didn't have much flavor and the texture wasn't really to my liking. I don't hold it much against them, though; it was a totally new food item to me and sometimes we just don't like stuff the first time we try it. I'd try it again in a heartbeat.Super thankful for such a warm farewell and pleasant encounter. Would happily stop by again next time I pass through.

Was looking for a local coffee shop and found brew and sip. There were some really good selections on yelp so I had to give them a try. They have a fantastic breakfast burrito. As soon as I walked in, I was welcome to immediately by a friendly staff. The decor is kind of cool and laid-back. I was there around 7 AM and it was very peaceful for breakfast. I would definitely give it a try for in town.

Love, love , love this coffee shop! Stopped in whiletraveling. Staff is super polite and inviting! Coffee is so flavorful and love that there are many non-dairy milk options. They have a cute section where they are selling African treats/snacks and even offer a selection of African wines! Wishing I lived closer right Abo it now but highly recommend in you're local or passing through the area!

I've been looking to explore with the free time I have currently! I wanted a place I could just chill, work on a few tasks and not be distracted by other customers. I can honestly tolerate a lot. Mannn, I FOUND that spot in Ntaba! It's peaceful, it's quiet, it's relaxing, comforting and welcoming! The customer service was amazing and each barista was very polite and well-mannered! Oh on top of that, the smoothies are delicious and the coffee was great. Yes, I had both! Don't judge me lol. I mixed pineapple and mango!! Yummy!!

Super helpful staff. My friend got a white chocolate raspberry latte and said the flavor was excellent while the coffee taste still came through. I ordered macchiato as the menu board made this clear it was a traditional Italian style (equal parts espresso marked with foam milk). Before serving, barista made sure I wanted the traditional, not Starbucks-common variety. Yes! Someone else understands! Real cups were used as we dined in the very pleasant cafe. Espresso was smooth and rich. I had questions about decaf beans. The roaster came out to discuss their processes and tasting notes. This place is not in my neighborhood but I may go out of my way to visit!

No foam on my latte. Was filled too full and it spilled everywhere. Ice coffee was bitter and looked like ice tea. Very lite.

Wow! This coffee and breakfast spot is amazing! We always try local coffee shops when we can, and support local business, this place is a MUST TRY in the Louisville area. We ordered the Bonfire and Toasted S'mores coffee drinks and they were both a 10/10, incredible. We also ordered the Rhythm and Blues Burrito and Cinnamon Roll and they were super satisfying as well, what a great way to start your day. Staff is friendly and shop also offers a few other things available for purchase, such as a seasoning made by Big Bruh's that we bought. Overall a fantastic experience at Brew & Sip Coffee Bar!
